Not sure where to ask this - I'd like to add "Seconds" to the stock android lock screen clock, where can I find the file for this?
Thanks -

I am editing/modifying a ROM so i need the location of LOCKSCREEN.....
I am not 100% sure, but you will need to go in the root folder:
system/apps
And if you don't see any lockscreen.apk, I have read somewhere that you need to modify the frameworks.
But again I am not developer, I have just read it a long time ago.
Hello, I have rooted my Flying FG8 to remove bloatware and I have accidentaly removed my beloved standard clock widget AND my alarms application. Could you please help me how to get these back?
I want THIS clock app: dealextreme.com/customerphotos/quarantined/201110/70778-a2ae832b-2fa8-4d86-ae86-9952d8549568.jpg
I have tried to copy ClockPackage.apk I downloaded from this site somewhere into /system/app but it does not show after reboot. Which APK contains clock widget and which APK contains alarm appliaction?
Thanks!
Did you set the right permission for the clock app after you paste it in system/app..??
Sent from my Xperia X8
Yes I set it to 777.
YES! I have fixed it by extracting system.img from the exact same FG8 2.3.1 ROM and just copying QsWidgetHtcClock.apk back to /system/app. The .odex was still there. No reboot required and the clock widget works like new! )
I anyone requires I can post any system app here or whole ROM.
Is there a way to change the shape of the lock of the screen.
If yes how can i do that.
use custom lockscreen apps like milocker (you can use various themes and style from within the app)
or use custom roms..they have options to change lockscreens too!
can u bring a link for the theme, and am using a custom rom so how can i change it even am using creeds rom 3.5
in creeds goto settings>parts>lockscreen style
you can make changes here, but lockscreen isn't available if you have enabled a screen lock!
MILOCKER
1. INSTAL MILOCKER
2. copy file with ".mtz" extension to sdcard/miui/theme
note:
-This is only for Ginger (2.3)
-dont apply another theme locker, coz this for device with high resolution, except youre DWYOR.
-If you want to add Wallpaper, just copy wallpaper to "sdcard/MIUI/wallpaper". But before you copy it, remove the extension of wallpaper.
Example : Color_five.png <- Remove ".png" from this file then copy to wallpaper folder.
or there is alternative- magic locker
but still i'd prefer simple ones provided within the roms coz they dont suck ur battery
use Milocker

thanks a lot for helping me, i made it right now, it is great
I recently installed Speedrom and pushed the HTClockscreen.apk as well as the 5 idlescreen apk's to my system/apps folder in order to view the caller ID while using Speedrom. However, I want to also be able to put app launcher on my lockscreen (like stock ICS). Is that possible? If so, what do you have to do? Thanks!
I have searched everywhere for an answer to this...
ROM: STOCK GINGERBREAD.VUVKJ6
Kernel: Bhundven's Subtly Modified Stock with CWM5 + Voodoo Lagfix
Does anyone know where the current lockscreen wallpaper resides???
I was able to find the current 'wallpaper' in /data/data/com.android.settings/files/ and then copying and renaming the file to wallpaper.jpg
I can't find a similar location for the lockscreen wallpaper.
The file is not in the gallery, and not on the sdcard (and it's removed), I already checked.
Trying to wipe my wife's phone, and I need to first get a copy of the picture (it's the only one).
Any help anyone would provide would be much appreciated!
