how can i change screen lock - Samsung Galaxy Fit GT 5670

Is there a way to change the shape of the lock of the screen.
If yes how can i do that.

use custom lockscreen apps like milocker (you can use various themes and style from within the app)
or use custom roms..they have options to change lockscreens too!

can u bring a link for the theme, and am using a custom rom so how can i change it even am using creeds rom 3.5

in creeds goto settings>parts>lockscreen style
you can make changes here, but lockscreen isn't available if you have enabled a screen lock!
MILOCKER
1. INSTAL MILOCKER
2. copy file with ".mtz" extension to sdcard/miui/theme
note:
-This is only for Ginger (2.3)
-dont apply another theme locker, coz this for device with high resolution, except youre DWYOR.
-If you want to add Wallpaper, just copy wallpaper to "sdcard/MIUI/wallpaper". But before you copy it, remove the extension of wallpaper.
Example : Color_five.png <- Remove ".png" from this file then copy to wallpaper folder.
or there is alternative- magic locker
but still i'd prefer simple ones provided within the roms coz they dont suck ur battery

use Milocker

Update Crt off and ICS Animation for JQ8 Stock Roms with root + New Theme

Added Blue and Black theme
Honeycomb Blue and black theme, combination from all themes available for our TAB, i used parts from AF's JQ8 release, overcome 7 and from Nautious theme, (i like to thank the guys for releasing those roms/themes so i can use them) i just put the stuff together to my taste and maybe you like it too, If you do, download file blue.theme, unpack the zip and push the apk's with adb or replace with root explorer.
The screenshot , you only see the blue taskbar icons but it is all over the menus and so on, it is a combination of blue´,black and misty white.
============================================================================================================================================
Green default stock theme - Attached you will find the files needed to have CRT screen off animation and ICS Animation on JQ8 firmwares, i also included a mod in systemui.apk for the replacement of the system switch icons nothing fancy but better then the default ugly ones, see screenshot, in the mediaprovider.apk i changed the sdcard icons what you see when it is scanning the cards for media. sorry dont have pic of that one. I also changed the settings page into black instead of white.
The boot animation file is from overcome 2.0 serie it is the blue android bootanimation one if you have it before. Thats all.
You will need to replace the APK's with root explorer or push it with adb, the boot animation you can flash with cwm, i use JQ8 with Overcome Kernel 4.0.
The ics animation will be at its best if you use a other launcher then the default one, with the default one you dont have the animations on switching between application or close the application and going back to the previous window. I am running this all lag free and it is a very nice addon for the great release of JQ8
O BTW, i am in noway responsible for any damage what so ever when you use this.
Cheers

MILocker and MIUI Lockscreens

A bunch of MILocker and MIUI Lockscreens
I downloaded some new lock screens, and whenever I apply them, just the wallpaper changes and the actual lockscreen part stays the same. Any help?
The .mtz file is just a renamed zip. Look inside, is there a file called lockscreen or is there a folder called lockscreen?
If it's a folder do this:
Unzip the whole thing to a folder called work.
Next, zip what's inside the lockscreen folder, (not the lockscreen folder, just what's inside). Call it lockscreen, if an extension gets added, rename it without the extension.
Next delete the lockscreen folder.
Next zip everything inside of the work folder. Call it Test.
Next rename Test.zip to Test.mtz and copy it to your phones miui/theme folder.
You should be good to go after you disconnect the phone from your computer and let it scan the sdcards.
Note: This can also be done on your phone without the aid of a computer.
If this doesn't help, let me know which lockscreen you were trying to get working.
I'm guessing there's no shortcut to that ^?

I thought that my info was straight and to the point. When themes are written for one program, sometimes a little change needs to be made for them to work with others. As in the MiLocker doesn't read a lockscreen folder. Hence, it has to be zipped within the theme.
Heck, I'm an ex-junky who's lost more brain cells to acid then anyone that I know. If I can do/figure it out, anybody can.
Not able to see themes on Milocker
Hi,
I installed Milocker, and downloaded couple of .mtz themes... I copied the .mtz files to sdcard/MIUI/Themes folder...but when i Look at Milocker in Local section I am not able to get any themes.......
Please help....
Looks like these are for older MIUI, probably 2.3.x. Depending on what version you are running ymmv...

I found a Theme Font Pack wich include a type of font that when you apply it change ALL the fonts on you phone.
I found it here https://huaweiemuithemes.blogspot.com/2016/06/pack-of-12-awesome-fontsmarshmallow.html
steps.
1.download them (if they are named as .bin rename it to .hwt)
2. move to HWThemes
3.go to themes app
4. choose the one of the previous "Theme Font Pack" and apply it.
Ps. for better results just rebot, sometimes it doesn't aply completly
good luck

This is impossible as numerous apps have their own font embedded in the apk. You will have to change that as well if you want a "true" system-wide font.
I do this with the Dropbox app for example as this app contains a stock Roboto font, whatever other font you install for the system it will by default use Roboto, unless changed to something else :good:
You saved my a*ss, than you!!

[ROOT]Multiwallpaper for lockscreen

Since I switched to S8 found that we cannot set custom multi wallpaper on lock screen. I have found a way to set and works perfectly.
ROOT is must for this to work.
>Download any free multiwallpaper from samsung themes and don't apply.
>Now go to data/overlays/homewallpaper/XXX using Root explorer.
Note: XXX is the theme name which you downloaded.
>Now paste the your wallpapers inside the XXX folder and rename them to (wallpaper_*) and remove file extension.
Note: * is the serial no. like 1, 2, 3...
>Set permissions of wallpapers to 0745.
>Now apply the wallpaper from themes app.
Enjoy!

"Font Style" on U11?

I can't find it anyplace, and I don't see anyplace in the HTC theme app to use already existing fonts, it seems to only allow you to use cloud fonts.
Anyone know how to change the fonts other than via "font style", without physically overwriting the existing system font with a different one?
I'm rooted, and fairly good with a terminal if needed, though would prefer a chooser with a GUI.
Anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried Googling "flashable fonts?" I haven't used any on this phone (yet...you have sparked my interest in that again...), but you can download fonts that are flashed through recovery.
The ifont app allows you to upload your own fonts if you don't already see it in their choices.
If you use the stock theme app you can download fonts from there
Sent from my HTC U11 using XDA Free mobile app
If you can find font APK, install it then choose it in Theme app.

I've got the fonts on my phone, in the /system/fonts/ folder with the stock ones, same permissions,. etc. but I see no place to change from the stock font to one of them instead. in older versions of android there was a 'Font Style' section to change the system font, I don't see it on the U11 at all.
The HTC theme app, and all the APK's I've seen, either force you to download fonts or rename fonts to the stock font (like 'roboto.ttf') and overwrite it, to trick the system; or both.
I don't have a problem getting fonts on there, I'm asking how do I take the fonts I have, and change the system font to one of them, like the (apparently deprecated) 'font style' section in settings allowed you to?

Not sure if stock Android always had a theming engine. From what I've seen only Samsung stock ROMs and Xiaomi phones have that support. But a rootless theming engine is coming in Oreo for sure:
https://www.xda-developers.com/android-oreo-rootless-system-theme/
Anyway the way I change font without overwriting existing font is, copy whatever fonts I want to /system/fonts, change those fonts to permission 644, and then edit /system/etc/fonts.xml to override the existing sans-serif fonts, which is usually the Roboto family. This works for other languages as well if you scroll down.
Every time you change this will require a system reboot to utilize the new changes, so I usually do this in twrp
