[ROOT]Multiwallpaper for lockscreen - Samsung Galaxy S8 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Since I switched to S8 found that we cannot set custom multi wallpaper on lock screen. I have found a way to set and works perfectly.
ROOT is must for this to work.
>Download any free multiwallpaper from samsung themes and don't apply.
>Now go to data/overlays/homewallpaper/XXX using Root explorer.
Note: XXX is the theme name which you downloaded.
>Now paste the your wallpapers inside the XXX folder and rename them to (wallpaper_*) and remove file extension.
Note: * is the serial no. like 1, 2, 3...
>Set permissions of wallpapers to 0745.
>Now apply the wallpaper from themes app.
Enjoy!

can it be used on miui? if its possible how can we convert it?

Yes it is possible. To make it a little easier follow this:
Download my MIUI White Loading Bar Bootanimation for MIUI
That is already a .mtz-Theme file and you don't need to do that much to modify it
Download this bootanimation here and make sure its filename is "bootanimation.zip"
Open the .mtz-Theme with any Archive Extractor like 7-zip or WinRAR
There is a Folder with an bootanimation.zip. If I remember right its name was "bootanimation" Replace the file with yours
There also another folder with some preview images, delete the images so that they won't confuse you
The name of the theme is unimportant to you:
Copy the edited .mtz-Theme to /sdcard/MIUI/theme/
Open the theme chooser in your settings.
At the lower screen you can open the theme settings, do that.
Select Bootanimation and select "MIUI White Loading Bar"
If you also want to change the name of the Theme:
At the root of the .mtz-Theme there is a File with the theme description, extract that, cause you will need to edit it.
There are three attributes: the name, author and version of the theme. Edit them as you like. e.g. "Galaxy SII Bootanimation, Samsung, 1.0"
Save and replace the edited file with the on in the .mtz-Theme
Copy the edited .mtz Theme to /sdcard/MIUI/theme/
Open the theme chooser in your settings.
At the lower screen you can open the theme settings, do that.
Select Bootanimation and select the theme with the name you have given it.

Well normally MIUI is able to display Bootanimations that are saved as JPEG. I did it with my bootanimation and it worked. Unfortunately I'm currently on CM9 Alpha3 v2, so I am not able to test anything if I would try to build a .mtz Package for you.
Thanks
Thank you! This looks awesome on my phone.
Awesome boot animation! Great work + great share!
Very nice.

Android 4.1.2 Animated Weather Wallpaper and lockscreen

Animated Weather for Android
For Rooted Android Phones
I take no credit for the development of this app, it was developed by Samsung (I just added a couple of tweaks). I also take no responsibility for any damages caused by this app to your device.
That said, it’s an awesome animated weather wallpaper. Kind of reminds me of the old HTC HD2 animated weather. You can apply it to the lockscreen as well.
1. For MIUI roms install AccuweatherDaemon.apk first. Allow autostart and activate trusted app. Should this not work. Copy the AccuweatherDaemon.apk to the root directory System/app file using Root Explorer or any other root file manager. Tap and hold AccuweatherDaemon.apk then select Permissions; set the permissions the same as your other apps in the same directory.
2. Now install WeatherWall.apk file. If the installation does not work, copy the WeatherWall.apk to the root directory System/app file using Root Explorer or any other root file manager and set the permissions the same as your other apps in the same directory.
Now restart your phone
3. After the restart is complete, tap the menu button. Go to Set Wallpaper followed by Live Wallpaper.
4. Tap on Windy weather, select settings and then tap on Auto Refresh. Select None. (This will insure your wallpaper updates every time you activate your internet.
5. Now go back and tap on Set Wallpaper.
Initially I made this for my Galaxy S3 running MIUI ICS Rom.
I then installed it on my Galaxy Note 2 and Tablet 2 running on a rooted stock 4.1.2 rom and it works without any issues.

Good morning. Is there a way to pass the icons of applications without custom recovery? I want to put these to my son's note 3 , but I do not want to spend custom recovery to not write the knox.

Yes. You can do it without custom recovery.
Download mobile ODIN pro. And flash using Mobile ODIN pro.
You can flash zip files using MOP.
Or else
**Decompile apk and make changes as per your wish and recompile
Or else
**Copy the required apk where you wish to change png icons into phone memory. [Example: Storage/emulated/0/app folder]
1. Extract the required apk using Root explorer.
2. After extracting search for the image/png icons which you want to replace in drawables folder. (Assume you want to replace notification_panel_torchlight.png in res/drawables-xxdpi folder of SystemUI.apk)
3. Create your own png icons.
4. Now rename the newly created png icons with the same name that you want to replace.
(Example: notification_panel_torchlight.png)
5. Now install RAR from playstore. And Copy/Cut the image from RAR.
6. Navigate to Storage/emulated/0/app folder from RAR..
7. Long press the apk file (ExampExample:SystemUI.apk) which you wish to change png icons.
8. Click on Open as archive.
9. Navigate to res/drawables-xxdpi folder and paste that png which you have copied or cutted in step 5.
10. All images should be in .png format.
All the above method require Root access. And you can root without tripping Knox.
THANKS.
