which mean I click install on my computer, it shows T-mobile LGE LG P-999
but when I click it, nothing transfer to my phone, I am sure my wifi is on and I had tried different apps, still getting the same result
I am thinking the market might consider my phone now is different than the stock rom?

I have a Cell South Showcase running the EB11 2.2 Pick N Pack. My flash 10.1 is not working and was wondering if anyone else is having this problem as well.
When I go to a website in the stock browser with flash it prompts me to install the latest version of flash.

What happens when you try and install flash? I know there's a flash app in the market but I'm not sure if you actually need it to run flash on the browser. Go to the adobe flash website and see if it recognizes flash there. If so, it could just be an issue with the website you are trying to see.

I guess I'm stumped Maybe Eli or one of the other cell south guys has an idea. I just tested it out on my stock browser and it came up fine. Not sure why it would be any different on the Showcase.

Is it possible your model is 925 and not 920?
We need CWM so we can make a backup before trying to mess around in the system
It seems my recovery partition was messed up so again install original rom...

No its a 920 as I'm getting the same. So your updater always defaults to USA when you open it up correct?

It'll be a while before that. We had zero support for OMAP4 in CM, and merging it in will have to be done carefully to avoid breaking everything else. The only thing I merged in already was the bootimage-building stuff, in order to get CWM out there.

Done. You can now flash CWM from ROM Manager (and reboot into recovery, and backup, and all the neat stuff RM does) on the O3D.

Where can i find the CWM for this phone?
My phone model is LGP929 -- and its running the 08 software
As the title suggests, my USB has not been working for about two weeks, and I finally have time to look into this more. Seems nothing is working... tried drivers from PDANet, different cables, different PC everything. It was working one day and than not the next. Anyhow, is there a way I can return to stock, unrooted so I can get this repaired? Should I take the chance and bring it to Sprint anyway? I do have insurance.... perhaps that's the best way?
Thanks for help!
My best guess will be to boot onto recovery and try to restore from a backup but I'm not entirely sure (since it's for warranty) as u may need to lock the root again and I don't know if that's possible without the pc.
You can download the stock ROM to your sdcard directory using your phone's browser and flash the ROM on CWM.

If you have DropBox app, you can upload the stock ROM to www.dropbox.com and download it using your DropBox app.
Yeah, I was trying to do this yesterday, but I every download link I found has been closed.... any the link posted here doesnt include the sprint version.
man, this sucks.
mine is even worse.i cant bring it to repairs.cuz i hafe the US version of the nexus s. and im in europe..
i imported mine when it got released.
im going to post this in the Nexus S 4G development forum... seems like it's a little more active with more technical details.
I'll try and remember to post back here with what I've been able to do.

DO THIS.
seriously i had the same problem a fortnight ago and thought it was the internal sd, i formated it (didnt work) so i wiped the phone to reflash it. thats when i realized my horrible mistake; but lo and behold the usb was working again so i was able to put a rom on there and flash it. if a wipe and reflash doesnt work try a format first (remember to redownload a rom before you wipe the phone though)

i hope your right.that the USB gos back to working(it is actually a software problem.dont ask me how i got to know that)

so ill be waiting for the nexus prime.and a way to ship it to the Netherlands :'D
stock rom is available in rom manager.
boot to recovery
flash downloaded zip from rom manager
uninstall superuser & all root apps
send out for samsung if you're sure usb is the problem.
I've GMail app version 4.2-478 installed on my phone with the stock Android v4.0.4. I'm notified occasionally that there's an upgrade available for the GMail app, but when I try to upgrade it fails with the message "Package file was not signed correctly. Uninstall the previous copy of the app and try again" every time. I can't uninstall but only disable the app as it's part of the stock Android.
I haven't seen this error on any other stock apps. Can someone suggest what's wrong here?
Thanks.

You are using a non stock gmail app. You will have to remove it with something like TIBU and reboot then install from the play store

I must say that I'm not very sure of that. All I know is that it's something that came with the phone and I didn't manage to root it. I was hoping there's some solution other than rooting it

The only way this error would come about is if your using anything other then an official version of the apk. What device are you using?

Hey all,
A while back I rooted my LG G3 (great phone btw) and and I have, what I thought I have anyways, unrooted it through SuperSU due to my phone not being able to OTA update with an accompanying error message of not being able be updated while rooted.
I have just read about Lollipop finally being rolled out to U.S Android phones (finally)
Can anybody tell me how to update that doesn't require losing all of the stuff on my phone, or if I can make changes to the system files to make it recognizable that it isnt rooted, I read threads that this is a cause.
---I have tried using Lg Update Mobile tool or whatever its called, and tried LG PC Suite to look for an update, but it says its already up to date)
Please help?

The only safe way to unroot and update is the following. You might have to do factory reset in order to get the update.

Back up your data to your computer or ext sd card. The apps you can reinstall later. I know there was an app but I can't remember now. Titanium back up it's only good with root and lollipop does not have root yet.

I use MyBackup Pro.
There's a free version also on the Play Store and it doesn't require root. It won't work as good as it could if the phone was rooted but it's a win in this situation. I sometimes even use it instead of Titanium on my KitKat roms.
