Google AOSP calendar - HTC Sensation

Is there anyway I can get google AOSP calender on ARHD 3.6.2
I know I can use cyanogenmod but with it still being in alpha stages I'm sticking with ARHD.
HTC calender sucks and I want the AOSP
Thanks
Nik

You can't use the AOSP calendar with ARHD, as it's a Sense ROM. I use PureGrid Calendar Widget for my calendar. It will sync with whatever calendar you use. It is awesome. The Sense calendar is crap. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news :-(

Ok thanks for info ill try a different calendar

LinkedIn contact connector for HTC Sense

One of the features from my old Desire I miss is the ability to sync contacts with LinkedIn. There was a connector for this that I downloaded from HTC Hub ages ago but it does not seem to be available any more.
Anyway, I dug the apk for it out of Titanium Backup and installed it on my HTC Sensation and it works beautifully.
I have attached it for anyone who's interested.
Thank you! Been searching for this a long time! Also works beautifully on the Desire Z
Its available from the plug ins section of the htc hub for the sensation. Its been available for the past couple of days

Hi,
I installed your apk in sense 4.1 but when I add it in Acounts & Sync, I get an immediate pop up saying "Unfotunately, Linkedin for HTC Sense has stopped"
I was wondering if you have an updated version of the same.
Thank a lot in advance

[Q] ICS rom with sense 3.6 and no Exchange ActiveSync Problem?

Exchange ActiveSync is important for me. I read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1477286&highlight=exchange+activsync+problem but no solution was offered.
Can users recommend ICS, with Beats and Sense 3.6 that does not have this issue?
(Only members that have actually tried Exchange ActiveSync on their Rom, please)
I have been using Badnewz Insertcoin v5.1.5 now v5.1.6 (ICS v3.6) and it synchs to my works exchange 2007 mail server with no issues using the standard exchange mail app included in the Rom. No problems at all, settings stay, even after reboots. Also hear that his v4 ICS is working as well. Cheers....

I'm using Insertcoin v5.1.6 with the standard exchange mail app, too. It synchs with Exchange 2010. No Problems so far.
Just upgraded to v5.1.6 of Insertcoin and all remains good for exchange mail.... Cheers....
EDIT: Updated to v5.1.7 and exchange is still great....

HTC Calendar in Sense 3.6 with ICS

I upgraded my Sensation to the official OTA ICS recently and found out that the stock HTC Calendar has changed. It looks like the one in the first attached screenshot. Is it possible to get the calendar app that looks like the one on the second attached screenshot? My calendar looked like that before the update and it worked better for me than the new one does.

I don't think so. Those calendars are part of Sense.

But on second thought some devs can modify Sense, like keyboard, clock widgets.. so I guess they can port the old calendar widget from sense 3.0 to sense 3.6

Htc widgets

How to add htc widgets such as clock, weather and music in other roms such as cyanogenmod,MIUI and any non sense roms.?

Pretty much every none of the stock widgets will run on AOSP roms. HTC widgets require Sense framework to run. Many look alikes exist in the Play store. Search and figure out which works for you.
There are "Sense-less" roms that still have the framework, but are stripped down to look like AOSP. Flash a few and figure out what you like

Pretty much what jimmah said, IMO it's the only thing that I think would bind people to sense, other than some of the other superior apps like the camera..

HTC Sense abilities for CM10.1 roms?

Hi all
I have SensationXE and I want to use CM 10.1 roms but I miss so much the Sense4.1 abilities like
*caller app
*Turn back on ring to silence
*and louder ringing on your pocket
*lower ringin volume when you pick up your phone from a table etc.
I dont know the english versions of these statements. Sorry for that.
Im looking for an app, mod or fix or something to get these features on CM10.1 like roms. Do you know a cure
(Sorry for bad english)
Sense apps require the sense framework which CM doesn't have so therefore it is not possible.

thanks
Launcher pro is a imitation of sense. U can get it from play store

You can't have Sense ROM features in a non Sense ROM. If these features are so important, use a Sense ROM and install a plain launcher to give you the AOSP look and feel.
