One of the features from my old Desire I miss is the ability to sync contacts with LinkedIn. There was a connector for this that I downloaded from HTC Hub ages ago but it does not seem to be available any more.
Anyway, I dug the apk for it out of Titanium Backup and installed it on my HTC Sensation and it works beautifully.
I have attached it for anyone who's interested.

Hi,
I installed your apk in sense 4.1 but when I add it in Acounts & Sync, I get an immediate pop up saying "Unfotunately, Linkedin for HTC Sense has stopped"
I was wondering if you have an updated version of the same.

Mine works just fine
photo gallery bug
Bug resolved in picasa gallery, I was not able to see photos, when I choose a picassa gallery it starts to flash and didn't show any photo.
Now works correctly.

Noticed a new app called HTC likes
No CRT animation?
Sound has been boosted, At least from the speaker I can notice a big difference. Also the the stock music app is picking up the embedded album art correctly now on my imported iTunes library.
HTC likes was always there, and it's still bloatware :-( the real changes for me are better dual core support and gtalk video, so now you don't poorly supported third party apps, like VTalk. Now I can use a poorly supported Google App!

Is the speaker really louder? I'm dying to get this, but fully rooted and Rom'd up.
Definitely seems louder to me.
Tried the game Cordy off the Market and the graphics spaz out to look like when a desktop pc GPU is dying. Also the stock browser closes all windows except the one you have open when you close it.
I can confirm on 2.3.4 on a stock Sensation by pressing home and power it will take a screen shot and photos will be in the camera shots album.. Pretty freaking nice of them to include this feature
Recently HTC one series announced, I think there still have more space for HTC to improve. From my experience, I think HTC embedded application should have backup and restore application of contacts, SMS, etc. Also it would be nice to have task manager of some sore. Anyone have other useful application but HTC does not support? I would like to gather a list of features then suggest this to HTC for their future phones^^
Dude, you can already backup your sms or contacts to sd-card with current HTC software.

I upgraded my Sensation to the official OTA ICS recently and found out that the stock HTC Calendar has changed. It looks like the one in the first attached screenshot. Is it possible to get the calendar app that looks like the one on the second attached screenshot? My calendar looked like that before the update and it worked better for me than the new one does.

I don't think so. Those calendars are part of Sense.

But on second thought some devs can modify Sense, like keyboard, clock widgets.. so I guess they can port the old calendar widget from sense 3.0 to sense 3.6

I'm also on ordroid, but, when I take a photo on instagram, all freezes and stops responding (non of buttons working on instagram or other buttons), when screen lights out and press turn on button (hope to go to lock screen) it boots on as switched on. Reinstall does all the same
Works fine on VI 4.0.1. Although personally I don't see what is all the hype about.

It's another 'cool' app to have for photo blogging - effects are quite nice
Just installed instagram.. currently using sense 4.0 insert coin rc1.. took some photos and upload it to fb.. one FC occurred when to choose profile pic.. the rest seems to be ok...

I always try to take the best picture with realistic colours , why would I ruin it with lame filters that mimic old camera ?

So, I have ALL of the correct libs... The app functions to some extent, it loads all of the books, etc. However, it will not load when opened and crashes. If I put the widget on the homescreen it is invisible aside from the books, all of this leads me to believe that it's because of a different framework? Is there any way to make this work with Sense 4.0? Any ideas? I REALLY want to make this work.

I would suggest you contact Team Venom. I believe that they are completely capable of porting the reader app to Sense 4.0. The Reader app is the only reason I'm still using Sense 3.6 and not 4.0. Make the effort to contact them and maybe they'll give it a go.
