Looking good, but it seems the video's been removed off youtube.

Can't see the video as of now but the photo and specs look awesome.
Looks a lot like the nexus s also which is a good thing.

I'll upload the video ;-).
Knew this would happen, quickly saved the video from youtube.
EDIT: Uploaded!

Most importantly, the phone is codenamed 'Tuna'. Finally a name!!

I bet the quoted specs are wrong.

AM I the only one seeing a really big problem here?
OMAP4460's GPU is a PowerVR SGX540, that's the same one in Nexus S.

That's not great but the clock frequency seems to be almost twice as high for the GPU, 384MHz compared to 200MHz, so it it isn't that bad. SGX540 is still a competititve GPU.

Im pretty sure those hands have never been outside.

I think it is a fail before the start. I do not get where the hell Samsung got info that most of the users like 4.65" phone? I mean, if I want such screen size - I can buy a 5" tablet.

Quadrant on CM7

hey guys
anyone compared the Sensation Quadrant score with Sense and then on CM7?
We all know Sense uses a lot of RAM and so CM7 should use much less.
i get over 3000 mostly everytime with cm7 while with sense roms i got 2400-2600

the galaxy s 2 vs sensation face offs are not very fair seeing as Touch Wiz does not use as much RAM and CPU as Sense 3.0 so in all those tests the Sensation looses. Im not sure if I should hold off and get HTC Vigor with 1GB RAM.

Thank you. The S2 has a superior processor, there's no way of getting around that. But the Sensation is no slouch either.

The sensation is by no means a slouch. It's a nice phone. The build quality owns that of the sgs2! But honestly this is down to a my penis is bigger than yours debate now.
I don't know why some ppl are always talking about Quandrant. It cannot show your real performance at all.
If you really like benchmark, why not use cf-bench?

I don't notice any pixelation at all and I came from a Sensation. Going any closer than like 5" to any screen just gives me a headache. I wouldn't trade this display for anything. Honestly, the tiny icons on higher res screens bug the **** out of me. Nothing seems noticeably crisper, just smaller.

Lol. Sure the NS has higher pixel density but it will definitely lag behind in terms of GPU performance, especially because of the huge resolution, which is imho totally out of place in a phone. The GS2 with its good amount of subpixels looks pretty good, and the screen is still huge so high resolution isn't really needed. I'm also quite sure that battery life will be worse on the NS: if ICS uses the gpu properly then the overclocked 540 of this phone will eat it all real quick having to push all those pixels

[Rumor] HTC Primo

Just to spice things up before next month MWC.
I'm thinking, this might just be the Desire S successor. Just because of the 3.7" size and midrange pricing.
Here's the spec:
3.7" Super AMOLED, Gorilla Glass
Dual-Core 1GHz Qualcomm
512MB RAM
5MP Camera, 720p video, dual-shutter allows snapping photos while taking video, f/2.0
9mm thick
ICS with Sense 4
Beats Audio
250 GBP
My comment:
Decent spec. But somehow the RAM is less than what we already have. But the camera seems great if it's really f/2.0. Seems much thinner too.
But this is just rumor milling though so take it with a pinch of salt, or pepper whichever you prefer.
ps: Didn't include pic since sources say it's just an ugly render.

512mb ram!? Kinda makes a 1ghz dual core processor useless?
That's less RAM than the Desire S. I'll stick with mine thanks.
That dual shutter thing sounds interesting though. I sincerely hope the image is just a mock-up, that beats logo on the front is f'ing hideous.

No, they call it HTC Edge.
The Ville looks like this LINK
If that picture in post #5 is really the DS successor, then I will be more than happy to keep my DS.
In my opinion its a fake. They would never put that Beats logo at the front and I guess they will also keep the softtouch buttons.

HTC is focusing on quality instead of quantity this year, or so they say. Which means less models but better quality.

Apparently these screenshots were taken by "some dude" on an AT&T Moto X, to a friend, who then sent them to Brian Klug, a senior editor for Anandtech.
Here are the screenshots:
The phone probably has a Snapdragon 600! Or something similar, because I don't honestly think an S4 Pro could perform that well. Maybe Moto's baked something special just for us!
This will be updated as soon as I obtain new information to add

How does CPU-Z actually ID the hardware? Is the CPU specs ID'd by CPU model number or are they placeholders in this case because it is an unreleased phone?

From what I understand, it actually knows the exact hardware. I mean, worst comes worst, you just download cpu-z and try it on your own device to see if it matches up. I wouldn't think they're placeholders

An Evo LTE wouldn't benchmark like that. If they've done something special hardware/software wise that's something awesome and will probably keep the costs down.

Did you even see the benchmark numbers? It kills the EVO. Since it is not a 5 inch screen, I don't see why you would need a 1080p screen.
