Yeah, I honestly think the GSII on ICS will out-perform the GN. It seems to have better specs and features across the board.

just wait till Galaxy SII gets ICS...EPIC PWN +SGS2 is like 6 months older than the nexus

So you dont care about the gorgeous display compared to the pixelated one of GS2.

S2 has a pixelated display?

Just look closely the apps in the app drawer or in the homescreens...ungly as hell cause of the low res.

Sorry, but I don't look closely at my phone. I look at with at least a 5" distance.

I don't notice any pixelation at all and I came from a Sensation. Going any closer than like 5" to any screen just gives me a headache. I wouldn't trade this display for anything. Honestly, the tiny icons on higher res screens bug the **** out of me. Nothing seems noticeably crisper, just smaller.

lol cant wait for SG S3.. hahahaha

Galaxy nexus is such a failure lol.

The s2 is what...200pts less running gingerbread? S2 on ICS is gonna kill it. I'm excited!

Lol. Sure the NS has higher pixel density but it will definitely lag behind in terms of GPU performance, especially because of the huge resolution, which is imho totally out of place in a phone. The GS2 with its good amount of subpixels looks pretty good, and the screen is still huge so high resolution isn't really needed. I'm also quite sure that battery life will be worse on the NS: if ICS uses the gpu properly then the overclocked 540 of this phone will eat it all real quick having to push all those pixels

That's not great but the clock frequency seems to be almost twice as high for the GPU, 384MHz compared to 200MHz, so it it isn't that bad. SGX540 is still a competititve GPU.

Here's why multitasking is limited on the One X..

Compare the GSM nexus free memory to my One X. Both have exact same apps installed and running and both are stock.

Sense simply takes up too much of the phone's memory.
I'd have a GNEX if the camera wasn't a POC.
The HOX IMO, and I'm sorry for using too many 3 letter short cuts, but the HOX on ATT is about as close to perfect as you can get right now. Yes the multi task issue, but the battery is great, LTE and the camera are super, but the fricken lack of storage and a mem card is almost a deal breaker for me, but I'm dealing with it.

Nexus 10 Leaked

http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/26/google-nexus-10-leaks-android-tablet/
What do you guys think? Ugly but powerful is what I have to say. Exynos 5 Dual is ARM Cortex A15.
If it is priced correctly then it be awesome, but I don't think Samsung would price it cheaper than Note 10.1, unless they are not direct competitors of each other...
Hey fred. I can't wait for it to be announced on monday (hopefully). I will probably be picking one up. It's not the looks, it's specs that get me. Hell it will be in a case anyway lol
Yeah, I was thinking it looks like a Tab 2/Note 10.1 (blech), but the specs are very appealing.

If they offer more than 16 GB of storage at a reasonable price point I'll replace my Tab2 for this.
Am I the only one glad a manufacturer has finally realized that speakers belong on the front of a device where sound is directed toward the user rather than in some random direction away?
I may get booed for this but I like the phone UI on the N7 and 10. I'm a fan! I wish my 7.7 had that UI. I'm a bigger fan of the specs on the 10. I hope I'm a fan of the price tag though.

[Discussion] What phone do you wish you had?

i have always wanted to tear into a Nexus One or a Nexus S i dont care about teh specs
what about you guys? what phone have you always wanted? old or new it doesn't matter.
I really wish I was repping that Nexus 5 (or 4 2013 apparently) or Note 3. Gotta save your pennies!
Definitly the Galaxy Note 3.
I don't want a phone under 5.5 inches and without pen anymore.
I would love to see the Note 3 with 6.3 inches (like the Mega) cause I really love this size for a display but this didn't happend at all.
So I've to wait for Note 4 or Note 5 or Note 6 (every year 0.2 inches more since the first Note)
I would like to have a Galaxy s4! But it costs too much for me, so I'm going to keep my s2

I would like a phone with great specs and a "small" screen:
Something like a Snapdragon 600 or 800 processor, or A9.
At least 1GB of RAM, the more the better.
At least 8GB, better 16GB of internal storage.
And a screen of 4.3", no more. I think a great resolution is 1280 x 720. I don't think a better resolution (1080p) worths it.
And a metallic cover (no more plastic, please).
In top of that, I'm short on cash, so I need a phone which isn't very expensive.
Impossible, I think.
Good
