the recommend one - go to settings - wifi - setttings - wifi direct and rename your device to something shorter.IF this isn't working get the zip from this link and flash from recovery. Pay attention while the zip will fix your WiFi it will break connectivity to HD Media Link

ODEXING Process
On short. Odexing your ROM will give you a speed boost, more free ram, and better battery (or at least this is the theory).
Sounds too good to be true ? Well there are some limitations. Once you ODEXED your ROM, you CAN NOT flash other mods that affect /system/app or /system/framework. Thats why the ODEX is optional during install of the rom. Do not select it if you plan to run Kustomizer. Kustomizer has also an option to odex your ROM, but if you want even more mods than insertcoin + kustomizer have to offer then again do no choose to ODEX.
Flash your other mods you want and only after you are 100% satisfied with your ROM grab the flashable zips below:

word before flashing.
I couldn't test the rom myself since my HTC ONE Should arrive Friday. But i did my best checked, duble checked and triple checked before releasing. so do a backup before flashing. also please perform a full wipe. If you run into problems please give me full details and logs and ill fix asap.
Also given that is the v1.0.0 expect updates daily or every 2 days till i'm pleased with the rom and i iron out all the bugs.

If installing for the first time:
To install this ROM you will need to have an HTC-DEV Unlocked or S-OFF bootloader and a custom Recovery such as TWRP or ClockWorkMod installed.
Copy the downloaded SentinelROM zip to your Internal Storage.
Boot into your custom recovery
Back up your stock ROM
Enter custom recovery
Factory Reset and wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache
Format System Partition
Install the ROM
Follow the AROMA Installer to customise your installation
Reboot. First boot can take up to 5 minutes.
NOTE: You should see the SentinelROM boot screen within 15 seconds of booting apst the bootloader. If the initial boot hangs on a black screen, hold down the power button for 10 seconds to reboot.
If upgrading from a previous version of this ROM, read the instructions provided in the changelog in post 2.
Note: Use of titanium backup to restore apps and data from another ROM is not recommended, and is the source of 90% of user issues, especially when it comes to battery life. Do so at your own risk.
You may flash other kernels as you wish via recovery. Remember to also flash the correct libraries for any 3rd party kernels. Instructions will be given by the Kernel author.

Thanks mate. I wasn't originally intending to do a Sense ROM for HTC One, but I've been so impressed by it so far that I decided to give it a shot.
I'm also working on releasing my usual CyanogenMod based SentinelROM for this device and hope to release very soon.
I believe this is currently the best phone on the market and am very excited to be a part of the action. Especailly with some already very well established Sense ROMs like ARHD and Trick floating around.

Htc has improved Sense a lot.. So now we don't have to turn to any derivate of Aosp for speed and usability.. Stock rom can be modified to be damn fast too
We will wait for the original HTC Nexus experience to use it as a good base with good kernel and drivers to make the perfect Aosp.. until then, we kick some sense into ONE

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Well........ Yesterday I'd convinced myself to stick with TrickDroid after trying all other sense Roms, but wake up to discover Sentinel Rom. Thought I'd give it a go, and WOW. What a great Rom. Well done mate and thank you. Pie control is a seriously good and very handy touch too! Making app navigation etc much easier! For me, this is by far the smoothest Rom (battery life is yet to be tested over the next few days). There's obviously other great Roms out there too; TrickDroid, ARHD, etc, but honestly guys......... I would recommend giving this bad boy a shot. Cheers Dev, and keep up the good work.

No worries!
Pie controls works really well if you set it to "bottom" and slide your finger up from the HTC logo beneath the screen, like in the screenshot in the OP.
How are you guys finding it visually so far?

Yeah already set I up from the HTC logo, so it works like the logo to menu on the old 1.29 custom kernels. Yet with the bonus of added extras. Visuals are nice too, especially on the EPM. Nice touch on the app draw button too. Would like EPM style on EQS in future updates if possible.

Yeah. I wanted to gauge the response to my logos in the EPM before adding similar to the EQS. I'll probably go ahead and do that for the next release.

Yeah do it lol. One thing I have noticed, is that the free ram on the pie status info seems to be wrong. It's saying I only have 80mb free but all in one toolbox is saying over 600mb? Only a small thing that doesn't really matter, but you know what some people can be like with their ocd lol.

As it says in the OP, S-OFF or unlocked are OK. You just need to be running a custom bootloader.

In porting the latest Sense 7 software to our SkyDragon custom Rom, we have elevated the XDA user experience and the custom Rom benchmark!
Our Team has spent the past week working 24 hours a day putting this Rom together, and any experienced developer can appreciate that this is not a simple task. We have sacrificed time with our families to work on this project in earnest because of the passion we all share here on XDA, to develop the best!
Yesterday, our Rom was shared with an extended group of team members for final testing and unfortunately someone leaked it. We are presently dealing with this issue internally.
We did not plan to release this SkyDragon Sense 7 Rom prior to the official HTC release of the M9. However, because of this leak and the possibility of it being copied (Kanged) to other custom Roms, we feel that we must release it immediately.

Installation instructions - Follow these steps to the letter if you're about to install SlimRoms on your device.
1. Recommendations/Requirements:
- An hboot with at least 250mb on system. These include stock hboot or @jmcclue's 250/5/182 hboot - md5 7393e92a6d4f6b6060d236c27d944ad3
How to flash an hboot (simpliest way):
1) download the alpha jelly zip and ensure its integrity by checking against the md5
2) save the alpha jelly zip to the root of your SD card and rename it into PB99IMG.zip
3) reboot into bootloader
4) apply the update
5) enter recovery
6) format all partitions except SD card
7) reboot into recovery -- now you can flash the ROM

- A 512mb - 1.5gb EXT partition (EXT4 recommended) on your sdcard. Use this guide, and this guide only to create the partition. Partitions made using other tools (CWM, Minitool Partition Wizard, etc.) will likely cause issues.
- The latest TWRP or 4EXT Recovery. Old versions of CWM may cause issues.
- A somewhat decently functioning brain (optional)
2. Installation Steps:
- Boot into recovery
- Full wipe *
- Flash ROM
- Boot the ROM and let it settle down for 2-3 minutes
- Enable A2SD from Terminal (Answer: Y/N/N) -> for details see below **
- Go to Settings > Security > And turn on "Advanced Reboot Menu"
- Reboot to recovery
- Flash GApps
- Reboot
- Start Play Store to load setup for WiFi, Google account, etc.
* Full wipe includes system, data, cache, dalvik cache, .android_secure and sd-ext
** Enable A2SD
- run Terminal Emulator
- type 'su' and press enter
- allow root access in the popup query
- type 'a2sd install' and press enter
- reply to questions in this order
--> y n n (dalvik to card - yes, data to card - no, reboot - no)

Thanks for the flowers. I was very glad when I found out how to get this rom FINALLY working. I couldn't do that for almost 2 years. Experience is the key!
About LCD density:
I intended to keep SlimKat as close as possible to the original. Feel free to modify the build.prop. let's see how many ppl will "complain"..

Searching in playstore also crashed in my phone. It occurs when you have just set up your Google account and the synchronization is still working in the background.
Solution: let the ROM settle down for a few minutes, and try it again.
Btw, you can change the dpi by editing the /system/build.prop (LCD.density). Or download an app that does the job for you.

About extended power menu: this is not available in SlimRom. Probably they considered this to be unnecessary. I could add it perhaps. Let's see..

I would recommend to download the original gapps.
After installation gapps of spezi77 can replace two files (Phonesky.apk and GoogleServicesFramework.apk) and google store works perfectly.
In addition, the original gapps are really black.

In this mod gapps Phonesky.apk is in version 5.0.38 and is blocked from updating. So always will be black.

Prerequisites for Installation
- Must have an unlocked bootloader

Fresh Installation
- Backup your existing ROM first

Gapps
- Open Gapps (use a size smaller than "Full" to make sure it fits)
NOTE: Here's what I do to solve the "Play Games" side load issue... Anytime I update my GApps zip file:
- I download the "full" and "mini" versions of GApps
- Extract the "GApps/playgames-arm.tar.lz" file from the "full" file and add it to the "GApps" folder of the "mini" file.
- Open the installer.sh script in the "mini" file and move the "playgames" line from the full_gapps_list= section into the mini_gapps_list= section
- I use this modified "mini" .zip when flashing CM-14.1 ROMs so that my Play Games install always works.

I tried to delete the LineageOMS DevDB thread but it doesn't seem to have worked.

Would you mind deleting the following threads, they were created in error. I was experiencing a problem when creating this thread that is looked like a failure but in fact multiple were created unbeknown to me.

Responding here as this is the core thread. See feature list in OP. In a nutshell minor UI tweaks and theming support. For general use suggest sticking with 'regular' Lineage. At least until this build gets some further feedback/testing.

Will the original LineageOS be developed further or is this a complete switch to LineageOS-eXtended?

This is an additional build option not a replacement for the original. You can always assume there will be further builds. I will announce if otherwise.

As far as I see from the feature list, the eXtended build mostly adds fancy stuff, no functional improvements. As I'm happy with the not-eXtended build I would stay with it.
(I still use the tablet mostly for kindle reading, just with the up to date app. So I do not need much fancy around this.)

Does this ROM support 4G LTE? I have the LTE version of Thor, and I'm looking to upgrade my ROM.

Likely not. Data/LTE support is only available in KitKat based ROMs.
Could we get an up to date build of this ROM? I can donate to support if necessary.
