[New project] lg star weather clock port

Im going to start working on porting the lg star clock for the incredible.
i just need to find the lg star weather clock apk and i can get started
heres a few clocks that are combined lg star and htc clock
special thanks to cryshop for getting the images
Note: I will still port the lg star weather clock widget when something
that i can use is released.
but heres a little taste.
Note: the image is of the lg/Htc clock
also they are both animated

no source yet ive looked.
ill look at the miui fancy widget and see if it can give me a starting point.
this thread is mostly just to see if there is much interest in this and
if i should put in the time or work on my other projects.

I was actually looking at that thinking I wanted it no more than an hour ago on Engadget. I would definitely download this if you port it.

Considering the flyer and the kingdom apks are almost the same i would say fixing purely rosie is a matter of 5min...
Lockscreen a little more. Maybe 20min.
All the other sense apps are way more work because you need to edit the dimens.xml.

Well, making the tools was the hard part, now comes the fun
It's really cool to rotate and transform Rosie, you can do almost everything, I could even mirror Rosie

Good luck capy, I'm sure that the Pyramid sense 3.0 will be a lot better than Kingdom... probably a lot more stable anyway.

If this ROM gets now the developers attention, it will sure work out better than the Kingdom ROM.
Capy already did an impressive job on the Kingdom ROM, but after all, it was an early test release by HTC. Pyramid has been in development for quite some time now and this is now the release ROM, so it should perform and behave alot better from scratch.
Very nice to see that capy reacted VERY quickly to get his hands on this one!

Sense 3.0 Theme

Can someone port this over to the G2x? Its made for the O2x... I tried to install it and my phone wouldnt boot. Would that becuase i edited the build.prop to look like the g2 for netflix?

Resize Help

Hey all im in the process of porting my own Sensation ROM over to the DoubleShot, its based on the 1.50.531.1 RUU, anyways the HTC apks need resizing like:Rosie, Music Weather ect, so far i have Rosie basically resized but its just a tad off, so i was wondering if i could reach out to some of you more experienced Doubleshooters and see if i could get some tips on where to go from here ill get a pic posted in a second, along with the Rosie.apk im resizing to see if someone can take a look at it and maybe join in on the fun

Sensation ported Rosie.apk
alright the only things i have changed in this Rosie so far are m10editor changes to C:\Users\Home\AppData\Roaming\M10Editor\Rosie\assets\port\scenes\Rosie_Screen.m10 and C:\Users\Home\AppData\Roaming\M10Editor\Rosie\assets\port\scenes\Rosie_workspace.m10 ive made these changes to match another resized rosie(virtuous unity) and this is the end result, i dont know if its something im missing or not
like i said if someone wants to join in and help, this is where im at so far, thanks for looking

Its a Sensation Port :3 Isn't the whole purpose of that for sense? Also, a Sense 3.5 would be easier to port. The HTC Sensation XL. Sense 3.5 and WVGA. No resizing.

Well honestly if i wanted Sense 3.5 i would have chose that as my port, im perfectly fine with with what im running now, i put the thread up for resize help not for tips on what you would do if you knew how to do it thanks again

in Rosie, there's a navbar m10, going down to the second topmost container you'll get to a list of 4 or 5 subelements. One by one click them, and set for the Scale factor on all of them:
0.88800001:0.833:1
that should do the trick.

Im going to try this out, i havent changed any scale factors at all just changed like size and position of the 2 m10s i listed. Although im posting this before my laptop boots i cant remember even seeing the navbar.m10 in the rosie but then again i wasnt looking

Okay so there isnt a navbar.m10 like in the Sense 3.6 Rosie you use so im guessing ill have to plug that in somewhere else lol...oh well ill change my cars thermostat and mess with Rosie after work tomorrow

I could never find navbar either - theoretically it should be in workspace, but i've crawled all over that thing and couldn't come up with it.
It isn't just you, maybe we're both crazy?
There are navbar pieces, but always in conjunction with something else...so i dunno.

I know very little with resizing, as I'm learning slowly. But I always found it helpful to look deep into other simular roms. Like the Unity Sense 3.0, and figure out what is different in that rom. Then apply those changes to find a proper resize.

I forgot to mention this lol so i edited the second post...but i have made some changes in my rosie to reflect their changes and thats my end result thats why i asked here in the open to see if someone knew how to "tweak" it that one little bit

So minus the Smart a** AOSP user comments that im pretty well used to or that cute little let me google that for you link which wasnt any help with a resize so epic fail there.....i hope the offset of the widget and the touch is something i can mess with here within the next few hours

I wish I could help more, at best I can compile from soucre. Why not pull apks from other sense 3.0 Roms?? It's helpful if you really wanna get it out by a certain time.

Its all good i cant do that whole compile from source thing lmao, slowly ill get this thing done, like i said screen touch for rearranging icons and what not is slightly off still( i fell asleep) and im going to see whats ahead of me in the HTC apks lol

Yeah. There is a Desire HD ROM we got permission to port but we don't have a sense ICS kernel.
