I am a big fan of "Myn's" ROM on the EVO 4G, wondering if that can be tweaked to work for the EVO, or does it need to be completely redone from scratch ? Thanks.

It shouldn't be too hard to port, but I haven't checked it out nor do I have my Thunderbolt yet (comes monday) PM me requests of roms you want to see on the device, ill try my best to port them
Well, the T-Bolt has a desire z type rom already. May be fairly easy to theme it.
+1 on Cyanogen for the Incredible. It screamed and had tons of tweaks.
I'll turn this into the release thread when it's ready, but I thought you guys would like to see some progress.
This is looking GREAT!!!
YES! Thank you!!!!

Cool! What phone is this from? I could be out of the loop, but I haven't heard anything about a Gingerbread phone with Sense yet.

Will this run slower than asop roms? I like sense but I don't want to sacrifice the beautiful speeds and battery life I'm getting out of royalginger 1.2

someone tell me what is so special about this looks like all the other roms for gb
CM is basically vanilla Android with feature enhancements and higher amounts of customization throughout the system.
It's not really for people looking for effects and bling like what Sense is. It's more for people that are into getting straight to the point and customizing the phone to their exact needs.
Did he say 'unofficial CM build' at the end, at about 1:55? I thought this was official...?
Nonetheless, this looks awesome. Can't wait for it

Yes, like hardware acceleration if I heard right!

Hardware acceleration would make it faster than the GS2!!! And a speeding bullet

Your options aren't HTC Sense or CM7 with ADW. There are plenty of ROMS, Launchers and options.

What does he mean in the video when he says hardware accelerated video when referring to youtube videos?
What would hardware accelerated youtube videos look like?
For me, I find all the Sense widgets to be useless. At first, they are neat. Later, when my phone begins to slow down, I get to asking myself "dual cores, 1.2Ghz and I see lag!?".
Speed comes first, in my book. Then come all the neat features. I have yet to try CM, but I hear so much that I will flash it as my first ROM ever. If I dont like it, I will just stick with stock.

But that's the point of Android. It's barebones, but the user makes it look beautiful. Fast and beautiful. This is why I use Android. I can make it look like iOS *shudder* or webOS, or WP7, or something new and completely different.

Means it looks dumb. If it is running on an MIUI rom then ill pass to. No way I would ever run one of their roms. Looks interesting though
Another example of why android kicks the sh#t out of ios. Like it or not it is something unique and different. Would love to try it, if it is compatible with my device when released

Hey all im in the process of porting my own Sensation ROM over to the DoubleShot, its based on the 1.50.531.1 RUU, anyways the HTC apks need resizing like:Rosie, Music Weather ect, so far i have Rosie basically resized but its just a tad off, so i was wondering if i could reach out to some of you more experienced Doubleshooters and see if i could get some tips on where to go from here ill get a pic posted in a second, along with the Rosie.apk im resizing to see if someone can take a look at it and maybe join in on the fun
I look forward to working with you all

Sensation ported Rosie.apk
alright the only things i have changed in this Rosie so far are m10editor changes to C:\Users\Home\AppData\Roaming\M10Editor\Rosie\assets\port\scenes\Rosie_Screen.m10 and C:\Users\Home\AppData\Roaming\M10Editor\Rosie\assets\port\scenes\Rosie_workspace.m10 ive made these changes to match another resized rosie(virtuous unity) and this is the end result, i dont know if its something im missing or not
like i said if someone wants to join in and help, this is where im at so far, thanks for looking

in Rosie, there's a navbar m10, going down to the second topmost container you'll get to a list of 4 or 5 subelements. One by one click them, and set for the Scale factor on all of them:
0.88800001:0.833:1
that should do the trick.

I could never find navbar either - theoretically it should be in workspace, but i've crawled all over that thing and couldn't come up with it.
It isn't just you, maybe we're both crazy?
There are navbar pieces, but always in conjunction with something else...so i dunno.

I know very little with resizing, as I'm learning slowly. But I always found it helpful to look deep into other simular roms. Like the Unity Sense 3.0, and figure out what is different in that rom. Then apply those changes to find a proper resize.
