- chime (sound) - any sound from phone - no need to download and pay for additional ringtones.
- chime volume - individual level for each chime
- days of week (ie. Mon-Wed and Friday)
- chime in silent mode
- chime in vibrate mode
Free. No Ads. No permissions required. Small application size.
Next version shall have chime at:15, 30, 45 and option to also use vibration.

Great! Usefull little tool. I love all these small apps that enables my phone to do "everything"!
Version 1.1
I've added option to vibrate in 1.1.
I think that next version should have option to chime at x:30 (x:15 and x:45 after that) with option to set different chime (sound).
thanks. can't wait for the rest.
Love this app, great sounds !
In version 1.2 as said before:
NEW: added option to set hourly chime at :30
FIX: when clock mode was set to am/pm mode name displayed for 12 am/pm was incorrect
+ 1
Hello. I have added option to chime in :15 and/or :45 minutes .
1.4:
Added setting whether to play chime if wired headset is connected (playing or not) - for Android >2.0.
Added setting whether go play chime if bluetooth headset adapter is connected.
Added setting to play chime only when phone screen is on - ie. play chime in night hours only when phone screen is on.
I think that in next release I'll add option to define unlimited number of chimes. Currently they are placed in memory and only 3 available.
1.5
So far settings were kept in memory and there were only 3 chimes. Now settings are kept in database and there is unlimited number of chimes. You might need to reinstall application.
1.6
Added option to backup/restore settings.
Improved GUI.
Fix for some MIUI and CaynogenMod devices.
Added option to translate app - translations placed in email.
Added support for devices up to 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

Hi,
after trying many battery widgets and all were missing some features from others, i made my own inspired by those i tried.
i would like to receive some feedback from real users as i have only two devices for testing. in current state it is a 1x1 widget showing battery level called Tiny Battery Widget. the battery icon has three sizes: big (default), normal and tiny. colors and the levels at which the colors change are also customizable.
battery level is reported in 1% steps also for motorola phones. it is a precise value, not an estimate. it was reported to wrok on a droid x. please let me know if it works on other motorolas or not. are there any other phones that report battery level in 10% steps by default? report every issue in this thread, thank you.
after clicking the battery icon a system settings toggler dialog shows and users can switch some system settings:
- turn WiFi on/off
- turn Bluetooth on/off
- turn GPS on/off
- turn mobile data on/off
- turn airplane mode on/off (optional, enable in settings)
mobile data switch toggles only mobile data, mms will always work. it is compatible with APNdroid and if the APNdroid is installed it toggles the mobile data through it (so mms could be also disabled).
the dialog also provides a quick access to WiFi/BT/GPS/APN settings and can be automatically closed after some events e.g. WiFi connected/disabled, BT enabled/disabled (check the settings).
internet access is for Ads only and GPS is for quick enable/disable only.
uninstall with mobile data enabled or you will have to manually edit APN names to enable it (or just install back the Tiny Battery Widget or APNdroid to re-enable mobile data).
this widget was made for me, and released to public. looking forward to your feedback and enjoy!

I just discovered this app today, and I'm glad I did. It seems to be the only one that quickly and easily syncs with my Google calendar.
One question: if I install the app on two different devices that are linked to the same Google account, and set both apps to sync with my calendar, would I get double entries on my calendar if I have the same show list on both devices?
Suggestions/errors
It would be nice to be able to mark what episodes I have already watched.
The month is wrong. On the details screen for a show it shows 15/0/2012 instead of 15/1/2012.
The dates should be shown in the local date format.
Would be nice on the calendar page to be able to go back in time, to see which shows were missed.
Onthe "On Air" page, the text doesn't always show completely when there are more than 2 lines. However, it's not consistent. Some shows with 2 or 3 lines fully readable, whereas some only have 1 1/2 line??
An option to only search either US or UK shows?
In the filter option, it should be possible to filter based on words within a title. That way you won't have to remember if there is a "The" as the first word.
It's a good start, and it looks nice.
Hello everybody!
Would you like to use your tablet as a live billboard showing the current time as well as the RSS feed of your choice with large fonts that you could read from across the room ?
It is useful for:
a) Night watch
b) Glance at the screen from across the room when you prepare to leave to work.

One thing the app doesn't try to do is be another application that shows temperature, or integrate with aggregation services.
Features:
You have full control over most of the aspects of the application, here are some of the features:
a) whether to show the hour in bold or not
b) color for hour / minutes and 12/24 hours format
c) color and font size of the headlines
d) fade-in animation for the free version (2 more animations on the PRO version)
e) refresh interval
f) it does not integrate with Google / Facebook etc, you have to type in a valid RSS feed URL.
This uses the Daydream functionality added in Android 4.2 thus will not work if you have an older version of Android.
It does not install an Application icon, you have to go to Settings / Display, activate the Daydream functionality if it is currently disabled, then you will see a new entry - Wakeup Daydream. You can then configure it and set it as default.
I have set the Daydream to start when my tablet is connected to the charger.
Animations are nice to have, but they use a lot of the processor power. Please set the Animation to None if you want to minimize CPU usage.

PS: I have decided to write this app when one morning I had to make a long detour because the park was closed due to bad weather. Had I known this in advance when I left home (it was the first news on the local news website) I would have saved 10-15 minutes of my time. I like to leave my old Huawei tablet on the night stand and use it as a night watch + glance from time to time to it to check the news as I get ready to leave to work.
I hope it will save you some time and keep you more informed
Hello xda community,
I am kinda new to Android app programming and would like to present my first Android app to this awesome community.
It's a simple (internet-) radio alarm clock.
Full language support for English and German.
***The app now offers full support for 12 hour system (am/pm)***
Functions:
- one separate alarm per day of week
- vibration on/off
- increasing volume on/off
- snooze duration (5/10/15/30 minutes)
- 16 built-in (international) radio streams
- the user can put in a stream address of his or her favourite radio station, so that everybody can wake up to their fav station's music
- there is a powernapping timer on the main page for one-time alarms (15/30/45/60 minutes)
- a (persistent) notification shows the next alarm time
- in case of having no internet access for whatever reason, the app will play a built-in audio file instead of the chosen stream
When the alarm goes off (the radio starts playing), users can either switch it off, send it to snooze for x minutes or simply deactivate the vibration mode, to keep listening while geetting up and doing their morning stuff.
(* It currently utilizes a 24 hours time picker - i.e.: 13:00 would be 1 p.m. or 20:00 = 8 p.m. for example)
Have a look at it on Google Play Store

(* for a positive play store rating I would be very grateful, too )
(* In case you'd like to try the app (which would be a pleasure to me[!]), please consider using another alarm clock additionally. It's being tested a lot and works reliable for me so far, but it's still under development.)
Greets, Ben
Sounds like a great app. Thanks.
Happy new year to you mate.

Thank you hope you'll like the app. (It just got another small update containing an error fix for Android 8 devices)
Hello xda folks!
I recently put some work into the app and now it supports AM/PM. In earlier versions it only had a 24 hour timepicker which I guess was a bit annoying for the english and spanish world.
Other than that it got some interface improvements and more radio stations to pick from.
(I added some spanish, russian and U.S. stations to make it more appealing to a larger audience)
New screenshots were put to the first post.
I hope some of you will like it and give it a try
Greetings!

Hey guys - so this is my newest app I've just finished working on, Away. It's an auto reply app that is much simpler & more straightforward to use than my previous app, "Can't Talk".
the Concept
You're driving, in a meeting, at work, etc.. you can't reply, you turn on Away. It'll auto respond to any apps/contacts (for sms & missed calls) you've set it to with the custom message you've set. That's it.
It can:
- Automatically respond to any replyable app notification such as those from messaging apps like Telegram, Skype or even Gmail
- Automatically respond to SMS' & missed calls
It works with SMS, missed calls & any apps which implement Android Direct reply notification action (or Android Wear replies). I personally use it with the Quick Tile which makes it super easy to start & stop, and you can edit the reply it sends on the fly from the "Away is running" notification.
SMS & missed calls auto replies will always be free to use, app replies are a paid upgrade but I built in a 14 day trial so people can be sure it works/is useful for them before they decide to upgrade or not.
If you have any questions, feature requests or bug reports I'm all ears! You can also report bugs/feature requests directly in the app from the Support Center
