Samsung Focus on AT&T doesn't have "SMS Delivery Confirmation" toggle in Settings/Applications/Messaging. Afaik AT&T doesn't support delivery confirmation.

However, when I flashed my phone with the Rogers ROM, the toggle was there and I could use it. In the meantime I'm using codes, but that's not the right way.
Is there a hack (registry or otherwise) to enable the toggle?
Since no one replied, I did some research on my own and come up with the solution in editing the registry:
Current User\Software\Microsoft\ShortMsg\Settings
DeliveryNotifySupported = 1 (was 0)
SMSDeliveryNotify = 1 (was 0)
This enabled delivery notification, and I've just tested it, it works.

For me those are clearly in "Current User", not in "Local Machine".
There is an identical entry in "Local Machine", but it only contains this for me:
"CmasOperatorEnabled" = 0
Keep in mind I have a Focus, but I'm quite sure this is the right branch for all WP7.
Please test, and let us know. It worked for me.

I think the reply depends on the carrier, but it's something like:

You need to be unlocked (developer or Chevron) since you will need to run a registry editor.
I used WP7 Root Tools.
I am unlock with developper.

Yours is the real Orange plugin. The other one is Photoshopped. It's just an example.
There is only one option button found on the Camera ICON.
It allows you to switch between Normal or Expert Mode.
You can only change 4 shortcuts under EXPERT mode.
The interface is pretty nice, but too bad, cant launch below bug.
Bug found IN NORMAL MODE:
1. Under the camera tab,
Click TAKE A PICTURE.
The file 'camera' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file.

Is there anybody that could help me add Reboot to the Quicklist. I have a Qtek 8020 (Feeler) with a custom wm6 rom and that has the reboot option. I've tried to add:

Originally you only have four in
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\QuickApp] so you will need to change the order. Number two is the reboot option.
After you've done this you need to copy HTCQuickList.dll and reboot.exe to the /windows folder.
Then you have the reboot option in QuickList as option number two
I've attached the two files you need.

Just a little question: What is the value 'ResOver' and why is it set to '1050'?
The ResOver and 1050 is where the name Reboot is set. You can put whatever you like there....
App Ready
I compiled these files into ready to install application HTC Reboot.
Just install in to the phone and you are safe from the hasle of manually puting files etc.
Installer will ask you for place of installation, whatever you will choose, it will install in phone anyway.

Will this cab work with any Smartphone with VM6 or just with HTC phones? Some of the soft keys in my old, but reliable Tornado just aren't responding as they once did. So... I just got a Blackjack II for $80 from AT&T while I wait to see what features the next generation HTC Touch Dual or a similar form HTC Smartphone will have. I want a slim form factor HTC Smartphone with Touch Screen, Quad-Band, 3G, WiFi, GPS and with at least a 20-key keypad. In the meantime the BJII will suffice, but I'd like it to have the ability to reboot from the Quicklist as my Tornado still does.

I installed the cab, checked all the registry entries and the presence of the DLL and the EXE in the Windows directory. Everything seems to be correct.

Has anyone had an issue with their text messages showing the wrong time on the messages tab in TF3D? It shows up properly in the messages inbox, just not in the TF3D tab.

That's exactly my problem. It's as if TF3D goes off of GMT for some reason (only an assumption since I'm on EST).
So happy to see I am not the only one in limbo!!!
All my incoming messages are 5 hours behind. I am using an unlocked AT&T Fuze with my Rogers sim card (if that helps!)

Hm, other than Denil Wong (maybe), it seems like all of us so far who have this problem are Rogers contractors.. Do you think it's possible that this problem is related to Rogers? Though I don't see why swapping my simcard from my old rogers phone to a touchpro will suddenly change the TF3D SMS timestamp.
I just read at another forum, that sometimes unlocked phones will do this....we may have to learn to live with it

yes this is a rogers problem, any phone that has a time zone manager will do that to you, and it will be even hours depending on your distance from GMT.
Another fix is go to

No, it´s not possible - at least not with builtin abilities. You can only assign different ringtones for incoming calls

I believe there's a Mortscript out there, named MortRing, that'll allow you to assign different message tones per contact. I haven't tested it yet myself so I don't know if it works. Here's the file..give it a try and let us know if it works.

hi there. thanks for the file which i installed but im not too sure what to do next. the file seems to have installed ok but what next..?. im using cht and when i unlock my phone i see an image of a small phone in the bottom right hand corner for a split second but then cht takes over and its gone. any ideas.....

I too gave up on Mort-Script - its not working really well with HD2. It's was working to some extend - but it messed up other parts of the HD2 phone functions.

Hi. If You want differend ringtones for separate contacts (or groups) - install RINGO application. Working wery well on my HD2. But remember - You won't be able to uninstall it.

The app is not actually made for checking if you have a cool vanity number ("1-888-PIZZA"), but that's one way of using it

I actually thought about searching through the contact list. It's just that I'm affraid people would be very sceptic if the app needed access to contact info...
What are your thoughts on that? Would you be OK with it?

Well, thats why you can select a given word, and then again get a new search result. Limiting the new search result based on your previous selection. A sort of "drill down" into the results.
That way you may be able to get 2 or 3 words out of your number.
Numbers containing 0 and 1 in the middle part of the number, tends to provide less good result. Since there are no characters for 0 and 1 on the dial pad.
Did you try to combining one word with others?

From my point of view, it depends on what the app does.
- If I expect an app to make lookups in the contacts. then I'd have no problem with it.
If I don't see why an app would need it, then I agree with you.
Perhaps I'll add a "share via" function that enables the user to send a contact to NameMyNumber.
Any thoughts?

Sure, why not. Although it would be easier for the user to pick from a list within the app...
By the way, I showed the app to my younger brother. The app became quite the laugh amongst his friends at school. They where competing on having the best number

No worries , I should perhaps had an "Tip" splash screen of some sort, informing the user that the results can be selected. I'm sure that if you didn't get it the first time, there are lots of others in the same situation.
