add Reboot to Quicklist

Hi
Is there anybody that could help me add Reboot to the Quicklist. I have a Qtek 8020 (Feeler) with a custom wm6 rom and that has the reboot option. I've tried to add:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{2ABD8635-9808-4c4c-943B-8173B805FD40}\InProcServer32]
@="HTCquickList.dll"
AND:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\QuickApp]

(Number 2 is the reboot option)
and also copied in HTCQuickList.dll to the windows folder. I just get a some squares as option number 2 instead of the word Reboot and it does nothing when I choose option number 2...

I got it working by searching through the registry on the Feeler. For those of you who would like to know:
You need to add these registry settings:

Originally you only have four in
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\QuickApp] so you will need to change the order. Number two is the reboot option.
After you've done this you need to copy HTCQuickList.dll and reboot.exe to the /windows folder.
Then you have the reboot option in QuickList as option number two
I've attached the two files you need.

I've set it to position '3'.
Just a little question: What is the value 'ResOver' and why is it set to '1050'?

The ResOver and 1050 is where the name Reboot is set. You can put whatever you like there....

App Ready
I compiled these files into ready to install application HTC Reboot.
Just install in to the phone and you are safe from the hasle of manually puting files etc.
Installer will ask you for place of installation, whatever you will choose, it will install in phone anyway.

Will this cab work with any Smartphone with VM6 or just with HTC phones? Some of the soft keys in my old, but reliable Tornado just aren't responding as they once did. So... I just got a Blackjack II for $80 from AT&T while I wait to see what features the next generation HTC Touch Dual or a similar form HTC Smartphone will have. I want a slim form factor HTC Smartphone with Touch Screen, Quad-Band, 3G, WiFi, GPS and with at least a 20-key keypad. In the meantime the BJII will suffice, but I'd like it to have the ability to reboot from the Quicklist as my Tornado still does.

I was happy to find it too, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work on my TD2.
I installed the cab, checked all the registry entries and the presence of the DLL and the EXE in the Windows directory. Everything seems to be correct.
But I still have only 4 options in Quicklist, Reboot not included. It's a German WindowsMobile - could that be the problem?

Bluetooth & WiFi Toggle
If you unzip the files in the attached archive to the Windows folder, it should enable the Vol Up/Down functionality from the previous ROM.

eta: have managed to enable WiFi on/off in CommManager too by editting the registry (From memory: HKLM\Software\HTC\CommManager\5 "WLAN"). Now just need to sort out Contacts...

bizarre - whichever way I try to start contacts, Contacts from homescreen, Contacts from Programs..., nothing loads up. The only way I've seen of viewing a contact is to bring the dialer up, enter characters from name, then view contact.

I have problem with Contacts too =(

HTC Topaz - Wallpaper Changer

I've built this application: Wallpaper Changer v1.0
As the name says it changes the wallpaper manually or automatically, taking everytime a random jpg file from the local "My Pictures" folder of PPC.
Now I'd really like to have some feedback from those that are interested in order to develop it further.

hmmm... its a great idea and seems it will be a great application, but it needs a little more work.
I have a HTC Touch Dual and its not working on mine...
How about:
- Not being only for HTC's? All ppc's can have a wallpaper image, right?
- Allowing the user to choose where to get the wallpapers from?
- Allowing the user to customize the time (X minutes/hours).
BTW, if you edit the first post this is the best way to share the app:

Actually this is the only version that worked on my wm6.5 so far...
It only has a few quircks, the folder selection is very limited and the app has to be open for it to change the walllpaper...

Thank you very much for your interest in my application. This error of yours is most probable because you don;t have any jpg files in the local "My Pictures" folder. I recommend to copy some there. Anyway I will consider this case and will fix it in the next release. I will also do so that the user has the chance to choose its own folder from which WPChanger to pick up images. Thanks... so be tune ... maybe for this weekend.

works well, the only thing I would have liked to have seen would have been viewing the pictures in order as i have a lot of sequences of pictures of things like sunsets/day night etc. Rather then just the random.

enable Sms Delivery Confirmation

Samsung Focus on AT&T doesn't have "SMS Delivery Confirmation" toggle in Settings/Applications/Messaging. Afaik AT&T doesn't support delivery confirmation.

However, when I flashed my phone with the Rogers ROM, the toggle was there and I could use it. In the meantime I'm using codes, but that's not the right way.
Is there a hack (registry or otherwise) to enable the toggle?

Since no one replied, I did some research on my own and come up with the solution in editing the registry:
Current User\Software\Microsoft\ShortMsg\Settings
DeliveryNotifySupported = 1 (was 0)
SMSDeliveryNotify = 1 (was 0)
This enabled delivery notification, and I've just tested it, it works.

Whoops. Was in Machine not user. The setting comes up for me. I will have to test if it actually works tomorrow because I do not have reception where I live. Thanks a lot!!

For me those are clearly in "Current User", not in "Local Machine".
There is an identical entry in "Local Machine", but it only contains this for me:
"CmasOperatorEnabled" = 0
Keep in mind I have a Focus, but I'm quite sure this is the right branch for all WP7.
Please test, and let us know. It worked for me.

AT&T doesn't support it and probably other carriers as well so don't expect it to work there. But most carriers do.
I think the reply depends on the carrier, but it's something like:
From: Mobile Operator
Text: The message you sent to ########## was delivered.

You need to be unlocked (developer or Chevron) since you will need to run a registry editor.
I used WP7 Root Tools.

I am unlock with developper.
What do I use to edit registry ?

hi,
i had the force closes about 3 times , when i was attempting to
trace and trying to resize correct screen size ( expand )
otherwise working smoothly.Just one more issue.Is it possible to" lock "
"screen" over photo ,as i noticed if you are not careful ,screen would slide "around "
on photo and making any attempt to trace difficult .
As stated above ,i find this app of yours very interesting.
I use the s pen of note 2 ,and it works fine.

Hi can you add support for s-pen pressure. then you can have a snote killer for cm and aosp roms on the galaxy note. thanks

Wow that app is really cool and unique! However there is one big problem when I'm using it, okay it's maybe only whem I'm using it! Its really annoying that the backscreen is black-transparentblack, I would love the app if I could change it somehow to white! It would help when reading white pdfs etc. and making notes. It would be really good change for all tiny apps but I for my use it only bothered me when I was using the painting thing... And then eraser is also missing, but thats not as bad thing!

If set up like this will be transparency.
