It seems no one else has a vibration issue with their sensaiton when using the Anker battery. When I use the Anker battery, my vibration sounds a little weird. Its very obnoxious sounding and I would like to fix it. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas?
Its not my back cover, I got a replacement and it did not fix the problem.
Is got an anker 1900 battery and haven't noticed any strange sound. When you say you fit a replacement do you mean a replacement back or battery?
Do you notice if the back does not fit properly onto the phone with the anker battery? Have you put the stock battery back on to rule out that it is indeed not the phone body or backing that is causing it? Care to describe the sound better, more info is always helpful...sounds like a buzzing sound, or a ringing sound or something else...
I would say buzzing sound. And yeah i've replaced both the anker battery and back cover of the phone. Neither fixed it. This does not occur with the stock battery, but my battery life with my anker is just so good I would rather keep using it
I could use some help! I'm sure someone wants a rise in their thank meter!
Am i allowed to bump myself in. This? Lol
I'm getting a replacement phone for funky vibration lol
The whole casing vibrates, I tried my wife Sensation back cover, didn't fix it and btw, I'm using stock battery.

Connected to the htc charger the phone wigs unless touching the phone while touching the screen. Connected to my vibrant charger it works fine without issue,no need to ground it.
I know people said connected to charger it has issues but its specifically the stock one (atleast in my case, hopefully you too) and the charger itself causing the issue. So get a new charger. Htc will have to make new ones cause these are junk.....

Crazy ,anyone know how or why that's happening inside the htc charger?
I had the problem with.the charger if the phone was on its back laying somewhere and I tried to use the Screen it would go crazy. My replacment charger comes in on Monday. Hopefully they have fixed the problem.

I think they made a bad batch.. cause that's just wack ..
Its what made me exchange my 1st phone. No issues with the new charger.

Yep, I have no issues while charging the phone with the stock charger/USB cable.
No issues so far. Charger, no charger, holding it, not holding it. Never any problems with screen responsiveness. But I've only had it 3 days, so we'll see. Knocking on wood while typing...
Dude, you might actually be on to something. I have come to the conclusion that whether anyone believes it or not. The touch screen issue IS NOT a software issue. I really do think that over time, the device is holding on to static electricity which is causing the issues. My old phone that was doing this would stop after I pulled the battery for 1 hour but would start to act back up as the day went on.
Plus, this is the first Android device I've used where the battery starts acting up if you don't use the cable included with the Sensation.
I had the exact same issue. I use my MT3G charger now, as I like the shape much better. I hate how the Sensation charger sticks out so far from the wall.

It had touchscreen issues in general. The whole charger thing just put it over the top.

I can't believe it
I too have this problem but not with the stock charger. Since I got my phone I have been using the same old no name charger with no name usb cable. Until I came upon this posting and tried to unlock my phone or type something while it was charged it would go crazy. I even touched the phone as in the video and tried to use the touch screen but it didn't work as normal. Now I have to try and use the stock charger to see if its the phone or the charger it self.
**used the stock HD2 charger and cable and no problems**

I was thinking this exact same thing.... About the static electricity...
Another weird thing is that even when you plug in the wionky charger, the first few swipes are golden, then about 3 swipes later, wonky.
I've used my old BlackBerry USB cable to sync it and have had no problems. It's really surprising to see so many people with problems...I was actually going to return my Sensation because of the WiFi death grip issue but I don't want to run the risk of getting another one of these issues.

Maybe the stock causes issues like mine and another charger is fine .... Just checked again my stock charger makes it crazy..
And don't exchange for WiFi issue.. they all have it. Well the three I've had..
Haven't had any issues with the stock charger but I mostly use the Nexus one wall charger due to its awesome length, imo It's the best charger htc has provided with a device

And yea, what's up with this two foot charger junk..lol. I feel like I'm humping the socket using it while charging..
I can certainly say that it the problem affects more devices than you think. I'm not totally sure what causes it but you guys should see my zune hd.. It will literally control itself. Play music by itself, go in and out of menus (super fast by the way). If you guys want a video I can upload one if I can find it... It freaked me out when it first started to happen keep in mind, the zune is perfectly normal and works fine. The charger was one of those cheap chinese stuff.. So it could be a quality issue. I have yet to have the problem on my myTouch 4g though. I had it in a vibrant, hd2, I think even a G2 .

My Nexus1 used to do that on some chargers. Had to turn the screen off and back on to get it to clear up. Figured they were just slightly out of spec chargers and tried not to use them anymore.

IF you can return it back to store for replacement as it looks like it is hardware issue.

I am experiencing the same issues this evening, and have not had any problems before this. I am going to exchange it tomorrow.
Thanks for the quick reply guys...All this while i was thinking to be a software issue
This actually happened to me earlier today. Once I had to remove the battery. Another time the phone eventually rebooted by itself and had some message in the taskbar saying something about an unexpected reboot. It wanted me to send a report to HTC. I have never seen that on any HTC phone I have ever had. Luckily this is a phone I have to return anyways, this just adds to the list of things.
unfortunately the list is increasing by the day
1.) S-Off
2.) Death grip
3.) Shut downs and reboots
4.) Battery woes
Its getting onto my head now...Seriously thinking of switching to SGSII
sorry to revive this thread....Just curious to know if there is anyone else also having this problem and any solution found by anyone ???
having this problem again...had it twice in three days now...
anyone else also having this kind of problem ???
How was the battery level before it started doing that?
Generally the battery has been near 100% wheneve this has happened... It happened yesterday night again..

I'm trying to reply to all threads with the fix for that...... the battery is the issue, aparently the original is sensible to all our needs, it's only a 1500 mAh.
buy another battery, I personnaly bought a 1900 mAh Anker battery from eBay with $12.99 and all my problems are gone.
I have the Abner battery and it makes my phone have a weird vibration. Should I call HTC and try to get a new back cover or try to get another battery? Or do people know of other fixes

First I've heard of this. I am assuming that you are saying when the phone is set to vibrate it sounds or feels different. The anker battery is slightly larger than the stock but I don't think a new cover will change anything unless your current cover is somehow damaged.
Yeah me either. Thanks for your input. I ordered a new back cover and I'll get it sometime this week, I got a warranty exchanged one. I will see if that fixes it, and if it doesn't... Then I guess I'll have to order a new anker.
Heya all,
Just got a call from my girlfriend that my old inspire i gave to her started randomly buzzing when she plugged in the charger? It's a new inspire battery not a cheap chinese one so i dont think its a battery problem ...
1. Phone is dead
2. buzzing when plugged in
3. i'd rather not buy her a new phone so any help is appreciated
I'm having this problem when calling people... but its only me lol my friend used my phone to call and it didn't do it for him -.- but when. I hit the call button it vibes twice and random does it :/

it may be a hardware problem. if you still have warranty, then i would go check with the store u bought it from
bad cable, bad charger. try replacing those first. and just cuz a battery isnt cheap doesnt mean it cant fail, so dont rule that out simply cuz it was expensive
Inspire battery is a cheap chinese battery.
Sounds like a hardware problem. Have you tried calling htc?

Hy guys,
Please help me.
Has I read such positive reviews of this battery, I finaly decided to replace the stock one with an Anker 1900 bought in Amazon.
I replaced today but since then I have constant FC in all aplications. I already full wipe, install ROM again and again but still no luck. When someone calls me, the sensation rings once and then shut-off.
In recovery says "battery voltage too low" - what is this and how can I solve it?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide because I can`t receive any call right now.
S-Off, Viper 1.4.0 with Bricked Kernel, Anker battery 1900, Hboot 1.27.000 Locked
Kernel settings with no UV
Battery might be loose in it's casing. Try to see if there is a wiggle. If so, take a small piece if paper and wedge it on top of battery to insure the contacts are tight and there is not any wiggle. This had helped many people with this issue. Give it a try and see if it establishes a better contact. Hope this helps. Best wishes
If it still reads low voltages, I would return the battery. Possible bad battery. But try the paper trick first and see if it's just loose contact.

Thanks realsis.
I will try but it is very strange.
With this problem I change again to the sotck battery (which always worked with no issues) and the problem persists. When make or receive a call the sensation hangs out and I have to reboot.
Right now what I am afraid is if some how I damage my phone with the new battery. Do you think that will be possible?
Cheers.

I don't think, that anker damages your phone, i replaced the stock xe battery with the anker, and ive no trouble. I ordered it on ebay from laptopmate and it works fine.
You most likely won't damage the phone with that battery. It sounds like it's faulty, so I'd advice you to contact the reseller from Amazon, maybe they've got a solution. If there is none, they will most likely replace it for free.
