Try using v4.43.
oke odin 4.43 does more and different things then 4 34 so i will just wait and see
Before doing anything, try using ODIN 4.43.
I tryed to flash my SGS+ with 4.28 and it didn`t work but then I used 4.433 and it was flawless!
Hope it works...

Stock Firmware
Here's a download of the latest Stock XWJW1 Firmware, with Odin included to flash the three files to your mobile with the xx512.pit file. Mind you, you may need to check [x] Repartition in Odin and make sure you put the right file in the right field for flashing.
Put your phone in Download-mode by Pressing and Holding Power+VOL.Down+Home, let go of the Power-key as the phone boots, but keep pressing Vol.Down+Home. Attach your phone, and flash away.

I need the pit file for the Galaxy S 4G ( SGH -T959V ) , because I used a non compatible pit file for my phone and now it is not booting .
please help !!!!
thanks in advance
I solved the issue by downloading the file hawk.zip from this link ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/kc1cleanup/files/hawk.zip/download ) and then flashed it by Odin .

Did you get your device working? If not i know a guide that will help you tremendously. I had the same issue when i first started installing custom roms.

I'm soft bricked I think. I tried several guides but all the links are broken. Right now I can boot into stock recovery and download, but when I boot I just get a loop. Any advice?
Have you tired factory reset? Without knowing which Roms you were coming from and going to. It's hard to say.
Start over. Reflash stock (heimdal or odin... your choice/preference).then go from there. That's my normal routine.

when u use the method of flashing .tar file using odin its like unrooting your phone ; flashing the whole firmware in your phone again . in reboot mode or i guess the recovery mode ur talking about where u need to press buttons in ur device to be able to do that. it does the same thing but it just a lot easier than using odin.
but i guess your not rooted so just use the recovery mode or even in your settings option ; there is also factory reset option . but when your rooted, u need to go in odin method ..

Bro,
Power+home key +volume up= recovery mode
In this mode you can factory reset /wipe data/wipe cached partition/install zip etc.
Poeer+home key+volume down= download mode
In this mode can flash any custom rom/recovery etc. Means you can flash .tar file with your computer . But you need odin etc installed on your pc.
Hope this helps... This has nothing to do with rooted or unrooted device.

Since your phone is rooted , even you will flash/install rom or "custom" rom it wont unroot your phone because flashing "custom" rom from the name itself, it is customized by our respected developers to make our device more personalize and so we can do some things in our device that we cant do in our non-rooted phones. you need proper files to remove root in your device its called unrooting or unbricking. Maybe some feauters dont work because of your custom rom or any system app you accidentally deleted. to correct it , you can do factory reset but since it didnt work you can try to restore your backup if you ever made one. But i suggest to unroot your device or return it to its stock to be sure so you can really start all over again...
you can easily search how to unroot your phone.

Oke....sit down for the next one:
I hava a Note 10.1 N8010.
All was fine...but i wanted back to stock...so downloaded firmware and went into Odin.
Everything seemed fine but i got some errors (dont remember wich...sorry)...but eventually the note was flashed...had to put in the PIT file too if i remember correctly or it didnt flash. But now:
As i said...it is a N8010....in phone info under settings it says i have a N8013.....and if i go into download mode it says i have a N8000....???????????
I cannot flash the stock fitmware for N8010.....when flashing in Odin it stucks at writing NAND flash....thats all.
What went wrong....and how to correct ???? The tablet works fine...but i want to sell it....stock.
