UPDATE:
Now I also present, by various received requests, the T-Mobile USA HD2 version of this boot splash screen, featuring 576MB of RAM and a 1024MB ROM:
You can get the flash installer package from THIS LINK.
These others below are my Boot Animation, which I also modified in the same mix and match way to make it flow seamlessly into the Windows Boot Screen, and next to it the final Windows Boot screen, which I made the same way. When installed, the animated .gif flows perfectly into the Windows boot screen, and it makes it seem like the Android bot just pops up from the bottom all of a sudden after the 2 second post that the HD2 does at the end of the .gif animation Here:
These last two screens are linked from an outside host, so you can just right-click and save them directly.
To install the first Bios Splash Screen, just download the zip file, extract all its contents to the same folder and then run the flasher app included inside it. To install the Animation and Bootscreen in Windows, you either rename them to the same name that your current animation and bootscreen files inside of your windows folder have (usually "animation.gif" and "welcomehead.192.png") and then overwrite those files inside the windows folder with these ones, or you can rename them to whatever else and then use Advanced Configuration Tool, BSB or Registry editor to change your current settings to those new names.
Hope you like!

These are the other three HD2 Splash Screen packages I have concocted from various sources:
You can get the Flasher Installing package for this screen HERE.

Yeah, I know when you're given a splash package you have to flash it.
But what to do when you're being provided with an Image to "Save-as" ? How am I supposed to flash that ?

LOL No I can't make it any more real than it already is. here: HD2 Specs
As far as I know, that info IS correct, and the year as well since the HD2 is 2009 phone actually, a 2010 bios wouldn't be so far-fetched but no, the RAM/ROM info is quite REAL as it is already in the screen, thank you
LOL I know what you mean, obviously (LINK HERE), but that's only for the HD2s that are in the USA, all the rest of the planet is still on the normal LEO 100 version . I'll see about posting a specific version for T-Mobile users later on...

LOL!!! But my friend, that is the whole point!!! They ALL have ALWAYS had those 576MB of RAM, but it doesn't mean that they're useable, except in very, very specific circumstances! LOL It wouldn't kill you to do some research yourself, you know? Even when the appropiate information is directly pointed to you???
And be glad the info is only 6 months old, for a two year old phone to still be gathering enough interest in the media to still keep being mentioned six months ago is quite the feat, actually. Like I said, what info is in the screen, is the actual REAL info, if you really know about the Leo's hardware Cheers, M8!

Virtuous Sensation is a custom ROM for the HTC Pyramid series of phones (Sensation, Sensation XE, etc.). The goal is to provide a simple, Sense-based, mostly-stock ROM based on the official Sensation Sense ROM with essential bug fixes and only subtle enhancements.
Features
Click to collapse
Based off the official Sensation ROM (WWE 1.73.401.2), deodexed and zipaligned.
Pre-rooted with the latest version of Superuser and modified ramdisk to allow adb remount, mock locations, etc.
Enhanced reboot options built-in, allowing for booting into recovery, bootloader, hot boot, etc.
Bricked kernel with overclocking daemon (no need for SetCPU/Tuner). Screen Off: 192000 / 1188000 (conservative). Screen On: 192000 / 1512000 (ondemand).
IO optimizations including the use of ext4 with writeback journaling for all mounts and larger read-ahead buffer for improved sdcard performance.
Updated versions of all Market-available apps.
All Market-installable apps installed in /data/app. These apps are automatically installed for you both on initial install and after a factory reset/wipe. There are custom scripts to use Android's package manager (pm) to manage these apps, which ensures they are installed properly.
Bloatware, defined as anything you could easily choose to download from the Market yourself, has been removed.
Advanced quick settings, allowing for the configuration of options listed in this tab.
Overscroll glow effect, tastefully done using white, to match any theme or background.
The popular CRT off animation. We have intentionally omitted CRT on, as Sense 3.x provides impressive power on animations itself.
Customized camera application with bitrate selection and support for using mp4 containers.
Several custom themes, including Slate3D (CypiS), AmazingSense (CypiS), Revolution (he_stheone64) and Honey3D (he_stheone64).
Automated battery calibration. Just plug your phone in after a wipe and charge it to full (preferably overnight), then let our script do the rest.
Over the air updates via ROM Manager.

Once the Sensation has been unlocked by HTC the all new roms will work (and remove the vodafone logo, of course.)
Et Voila just ordered my new phone! 2days of bad sleep to come
Apologies in advance, perhaps I'm being a bit thick, but how on earth do we flash this at the moment? I thought the Sensation couldn't be rooted yet, and we're waiting for HTC to unlock it.
You can't flash it at the moment.
I know it can't be rooted at the moment, but HTC will unlock there devices right? that what they've said on FaceBook... or did they mean on the new models?
Dude If HTC will not unlock the Sensation i'm screwed
Just ordered a Vodafone Branded one cause the non branded one isn't re-least yet in Belgium....
They said they will unlock new Devices. There is no clear statement about the HTC Sensation.
Dude i really hope so... i don't want the ugly Vodafone logo on my phone and i want MDJ's fantastic ROM's to play with...
Or i hope there will be one guy(God) to crack the locked bootloader for us...
Can't wait for this phone to come to the US and install Mr. m-deejay's ROM.

Thanks for this awesome ROM! Will it work on both the European Sensation and the Sensation 4G? Because I may buy the Sensation 4G that's cheaper but I need to know if I can flash all these fantastic ROMs on the forum.
if you read the statement CORRECTLY. he said OUR DEVICES. that means new and old. im guessing it means all the devices

Hello there! I am re-posting this from the Mytouch 3G thread which can be seen here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=6507176#post6507176
I have made some slight modifications in order to make this work on the Evo Shift.
This is a Evo Shift tool to easily convert images in splash screen ones.
This tool is based upon ffmpeg and you need it installed on your system before proceeding (it will prompt you about the program missing in any case)
REQUIREMENTS
ffmpeg installed on your system
a 480x800 image
a 480x800 device (i.e. Evo Shift) with engineering SPL
USAGE
Code:
./ElegosSplashCreator.txt --help or -h
Prints out how to use the script
Make sure that the script and image you are converting are both in the same directory that you are in in the command line (Terminal)
Code:
./ElegosSplashCreator.txt your_image_file
Converts your image into a flashable splash screen, if you want the script will continue flashing the file directly.
I ASSUME NO RESPONSABILITY ABOUT THE USAGE OF THIS SCRIPT. USE IT "AS IS", LOOK AT THE OUTPUTS AND YOU'LL AVOID BRICKS!
Please, if you wish to redistribute this script, give the right credits and don't change the prog_header please (maybe link this discussion in a text file)!
Make ElegosSplashCreator.txt executable permissions (right click on file and go to Properties > Permissions, then make executable) and use it!
Here's mine, feel free to post your own folks
Flash these Splash Screens at your own risk. It is not my fault if you have a faulty usb cable or computer, or accidently unplug your phone while flashing! But the chance of a soft brick is very small
Fastboot images to flash in fastboot:

Good luck, you can use any image type e.g. jpg, png ect. Just make sure it's sized to 480x800. Also post them here so we can all flash them

Two things:
First of all the pic that you attached needs to be 480x800 (the attached pic is 495x800). I know it's only 15 pixels, but it screws things up.
Second, for the life of me I can't figure out the script in the OP. I do my splash screens an entirely different way. Have you tried the script in the OP?
By the way, if you end up using this as a splash screen, don't forget to hit "Thanks"'

what I do is I put both the script and the pic in my home folder. That way when I open up terminal (command shell) I can run the script that way. The bottom of the OP shows how to run the script. He probably does not have linux set up or knows how to use it. It's common among a lot of android root users. That's why I posted mine to be flashable ready in a zip.

How's this working out for everyone else? 25 views on my splash screens and no responses. Guess I'll take that as a good sign of not that many issues...
Works good I got tired of that bright white htc screen so I got the black htc color splash screen, looks great! Thanks for the great work!

These are flashable zips via recovery, tested by myself and working on ViperXL 4.1..0
As always remember your backup in case something goes wrong!
If your rom has other names than bootanimation.zip and downanimation.zip you need to extract the 2 files
and rename respectively to i.e. hTC_bootup_one.zip and hTC_downanimation.zip, use a root file explorer
to copy renamed files to system\customize\resource and reboot... enjoy

I checked out CleanROM and it has other file names for animations as mentioned above.
Made a new flashable zip via recovery with renamed files so it should work on CleanROM
Download here
MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE YOU FLASH THE ZIP!! ..... haven't tried it myself as on different rom but should work!
Let us know!
I already did it.....it is working flawlesly
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda premium
Works like a charm, i like the red one :good:
Edit , i rename it and ir work great thanks men
Using a root file explorer check under system\customize\resource to see how animation zip files are named in your rom.
for UP bootanimation.zip or hTC_bootup_one.zip
DOWN downanimation.zip or hTC_downanimation.zip
When I get a chance I'll add new zips with other names in OP!
Soooo dope man

Very nice indeed. Im on viperxl 4.2 and before the sense 5 viper i was using elementalx kernel. For some reason the splash for elementalx stays even after flashing this. Ive had this problem of not being able to remove this but until now i didnt mind it. So when i boot up i first see elementalx splash then it goes to this htc blue splash. Is there a file i can delete manually to remove elementalx splash so i dont have both. Ive flashed at least ten roms and elem. Splash stays . Ive looked in etc file but found nothing. Lol i know its a easy fix if some one could point me in right direction thx.....(found no google info on it or in xda forums)

Well I believe you need to change your "splash" screen which is different from the boot animation. The splash screen is the first one to show when phone is turned on/rebooted and usually non-animated, in my case it is the white background "htc quietly brilliant" and after s-off with red text "this build is for development purposes only...". Splash screen is flashed through hboot, which you must have flashed at some point. As for boot animation which comes after splash screen like the ones in this thread, is stored in internal storage, can even be changed with replacing the right exisiting file.
You can check these threads for further info on splash screen:

Just to be clear flashing splash (hboot) is a riskier process (bricking!) than flashing bootaniamtion!
I was planning anways on trying to make a matching blue splash (first timer!) if you prefer to wait!

First off this is a great boot/up/dwn. I used it on many roms with no issues until I updated to the latest magio Rom. What I found was in newer sense roms the name of animation has to be exactly hTC_bootup_one.zip and hTC_ downanimation.zip . You will need to rename them and delete the old boot animation manually or copy into the old file and delete old animation files within. Lol notice the lower case h and upper TC . The file names are case sensitive.

Srry file location is in /system/customize/resource. You will need to enable r/w in your file browser to modify file. Lots of people use es file explorer but to each his own
