That's more then likely the reason Paul hasn't posted it here yet.
I am running this Rom for few hours. This is the first and only 2.2 sense Rom I have tried. Been using defrost for close to month now.
I have pretty sensitive ears. Is it only me who is noticing definite change in the audio output with this compared to other vanilla froyo roms. The output is louder, bass is tighter and has more punch with my nuforce ne6 than vanilla roms. I can swear there is noticeable difference here.

Hello
I can not find a 20minutes.fr on the Market, whereas before it worked.
Do you have any idea how to solve this problem?
Thank you in advance

Hello Tori007
Before I flash the ROM MoDaCo, I was in 1.21.405.4
So I had the application 20minutes.fr
Since I am in ROM MoDaCo I can't find the application in the Market.
Is it removed from market? Or is it the ROM MoDaCo prohibiting the download of some applications on the Market?
Thank you
Maybe some devs wanna look at this. See what they can do.

when was the last time you tried GB? the 03/02 build of aospCMod is killer, seriously. Everything works and is fast.

My gps refuses to work on GB. I tried resetting and recalibrating with the gps App available on the market but to no avail. It seems like it works for about 5 minutes and then it's out again. I'm also not a fan of CM. It's just too much glitz for my taste is all. It seems more clunky than Froyo. Also my battery times where whacked out. It would say 10-15% and just die randomly. I recalibrated the battery and it fixed it but then the amount of play time i got was also considerably shorter. The main thing I missed about sense was all the glossy black, friend stream, and other widgets etc. I've found replacements for most with froyo but i know it would be much smoother if cooked in like sense was you know?

Well I doubt it's our battery because as soon as I went back to froyo all those problems ceased. I would venture to say it may have something to do with building a good cache of battery stats so GB can tell the true life of your battery. It was just not worth it to me. There's no drastic leap forward like there was from 1.5 to froyo. I'm just not sold on it yet. Nothing against anyone working on it. Just my opinion. I just miss clean aosp

Your first link is bad. It's good in the thread lebmb started, though.
Battery issues... Its been repeated a million times in threads and its in the gb wiki as well. Every time you do a data wipe before flashing a rom it erases your battery stats. You have to drain it and recharge it a few times to fix it.
This applies for any rom, as its caused by wiping the data
Edit: And personally this rom has increased my battery life significantly. So for anyone having issues, I'm gonna have to say either your battery is old, or it's operator error

yeah, while sense is nice, id rather run aosp stuff, particularly cyanogenmod. and the current aospCmod is the best rom that i have ever run. i used to use spare parts to speed up my animations, and now i can have normal animations without any lag. this is just fantastic. even the cm7 nightlies arent that fast. maybe a 2.2 sense port needs to be finished before work is started on the 2.3 sense.

There were 1 or 2 people saying there were some lag issues they couldn't fix about a month ago. Since then, nothing really. All the lag posts I've seen have all been fixable bugs or just operator error.

Operator error? I know how to manage a rom very well... Aosp Froyo is running fast as hell on my device.. GB not so much, it runs just like all the cm roms I've tried...****ty

Wrong, those 3 or 4 people just stopped using GB and went back to 2.2, because there were lag issues and no one else really accepted that it was a real problem. You're looking at one of those people. I've been flashing and tweaking ROMs since Windows Mobile 5, I'm not new to this game. This was not an operator error.
Just because it works wonderful and dandy for you doesn't mean it does for everyone else, stop with the 2.3 facism and keep this thread on topic, it's getting boring to watch every new non aospcmod thread get shot down.
Anyways, I PMed NFinite and Zenulator just for the hell of it, even though Zen has a G2 now and Nfinite upgraded to a Shift.
Im on the shift now but I do still have my heros in use, so I still am working on them when I have free time (not nearly enough anymore). As soon as I see a real dump from the wildfire s then I will see what I can do with it. These dumps are from the htc huashan.

Hey guys long time since I've been here since moved on to an iPhone 4 however played on a Desire S and am seriously tempted.
I was just wondering because my only quibble is Sense UI, I hate it!
I just prefer stock android.
Is there a way to get rid of Sense UI or possibly a ROM that is just Gingerbread on it's own no custom UI on the top that I could flash the phone with ?
Thanks in advance for any responses.
you can try ADW launcher or there is a CM7 port which has everything other than bluetooth working you can flash that

The construction of the phone and the screen, the size and just the device.
I just like it.
All Samsung phones are just plastic slabs, HTC seam to be the only quality phone maker at the moment.
Desire S with stock Gingerbread like the Nexus One or S would be perfect for me.
Just flash cm7 from the development section, that's essentially stock.

I've tried the current CM7 port and its certainly faster than stock and even faster than LBC.....I believe that they're still looking into improving the battery issues....but great progress is being made with the rom in a very short amount of time....so watch it ....
To think that Sense is the best overlay UI on any Android device not to mention Sense 3.0 that I have right now with Virtuous rom. Why hate it?
Or you could just flash TouchWiz UI on DesireS, though I haven't tried it.
I just want to know if it's possible to have a Desire S without Sense UI ?
Its possible, and someone will make it eventually, its my plan after finishing the cyanogen port

I'm still on the fence on the Desire S, time will tell.
why don't you consider the incredible s? It seems to have a lot more support. Not that i wouldn't want you to get the desire s

Yeah pretty much I'm not too fussed for a 4" screen it's ok as long as the resolution is high enough.
But yeah the construction and feel of the phone is a real strong point for me.
All i can say is i am extremly happy with it. i am coming from the moto atrix, which was horrible. it was worse then my mytouch 4g. the difference is like night and day, even with less RAM.
there is something i want to know though. the bar at the bottom of the homescreen isnt exactly "smooth". i posted a pic, you cant tell much on it since it is blurry. not really much of a problem, just weird

sorry for late reply, and yes it is very stable i havent had one force close. its also much faster and looks better than the stock ROM. you should try it out, make sure you download the TMOUS tweaks thats on the site where you download the ROM from. if you have the US version that is.

There are 3 most Stable ROMs that I have come accross without any issues..
1) Insert Coin 3.4.4 by baadnewz
2) HyperNonSense v7 by kristofpetho
3) Sensation 2.08.401.1 | Stock Rooted Rom by EddyOS..
Remaining all I found buggy, battery drainers or unstable..

Would like to know the answer to this too; is it because of our phones, or is it because its still a beta rom?
I know it s a port but, nobody seems to have that kind of problem. Could it be a harware problem of my phone?

Really doubt it. Some people may perceive 'lag' differently, a small minority might just outright lie about not experiencing any.
i've noticed that i depends on how many widgets you have
for expample now i have 6 widgets on my homescreen (5 from htc) and it's not laggy
if i add just another widget it becomes crappy
increase the screen off max frequency, that should help
I get this with the ordroid Rom, I've got to reboot to get rid of it then its fine for a few hours
Sent from my Sensation using Tapatalk
I think i unconsciously ignored the lag. But i moved on to MIUI rom htc base with APEX launcher. TALK ABOUT STABILITY. Havent restarted for decades. Everything is always smooth. thats why i like MIUI. Also home button torch light on lockscreen is second to none.
