Hi guys,
I am a new sensation user coming from the Samsung vibrant . Is there a one click root app for the sensation like the vibrant has?

No there is no one click root but s-off and root are pretty simple with revolutionary. Here's the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192300
If the current root method (that's already too easy) is too hard or complicated for you, you shouldn't root at all.
No, it's no as easy as it was only the galaxy s phones due to the fact that you have to overcome the s-on flag in order to write to the phone.

There's no one click root, but it's pretty easy to do. This video should help you out.

Im planning on getting the sensation when it comes out and from the looks so far, the Sense UI that comes on the phone looks pretty good. Now after rooting 2 of my previous phones i plan on rooting my next. I was wondering will the sensation have stock with root. For example i used the z4root.apk on my vibrant and my phone had root on it but i still had the stock touchwiz UI. I then got to choose to load a custom rom on it. Will this be possible for the sensation?
No root for the sensation as of yet mate.

its easy but if you scared then you should probably not do it because scared leads to complacations
Not that I'm scared I don't panic or anything haha I mean is there more of a risk than other phones that are not HTC

Let's just say I'm completely new to android, the sensation is my first android and first smartphone, and I have no background in computer knowledge other than what normal people know and I successfully S-OFFed my phone first time. Just follow the guide very closely and you should be fine, although I should note that some parts are in my opinion poorly written probably because of editing the op.

Really so I guess if I do everything as followed there should be nothing to worry about thanks.

just follow the instructions carefully and youll be fine. this is my first android device and first time ever s offing my phone and i successfully did it my first try
In my opinion, it's not harder than rooting a device using SuperOneClick (that I guess you know if you've rooted some devices already)
I would even say it's easier to use AlphaRev tool than writting codes with adb to have temp-root^^
I think the only risk would be to disconnect while making it S-off
Finally I think it's less risky than flashing a rom or a radio
I searched a lot but couldn't find it. I am not new to xda just need to this phone.
I am trying to help my brother in law to unlock his sensation 4g. But he doesn't want to root the phone to use methods in Dev section. I know Samsung galaxy phones can be unlocked without rooting.
Is there any method to root HTC sensation phone without rooting?
You can always root then unlock and after that unroot

Just do it that way. He will never know
Support TrevE! Fuh Q CIQ!
Call T-Mobile and get it. No rooting required.

Google is your friend. Google Ace Hack Kit and you'll find what you're looking for. Have fun! Just got it myself and love it so far

I'm sorry but if that isn't simple enough then I suggest you hold off gaining root access... You should read and learn what you are doing, and potential risks involved.
