I have looked and looked for the latest (V4?) one-click linux script to root my Transformer TF101, but all I can find is V3 in the original post of that thread.

I just got the HSG X5A, it's running firmware #348 build number x5a 1.0
My problem is, I've looked through the dev/root thread for this device, and I found one click root, but I can't seem to get it to work. I'm not a complete noob, I do have some pretty extensive experience hacking android onto my HTC Titan, so I know most of the basics of using adb, flashing, etc...
If anyone could please help me out with some simple instructions on how to root this thing, I'd really appreciate it.

How did you fix it? Mine is not rooting as well. please help!

It is running android 4.1.1, And I cannot find a tutorial for it, if somebody could help me out and get one for me I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks, bye.

Hi, im about to purchase the Ramos w41 as well, and was also looking around to find out if anyone posted a tutorial for rooting it. So i'm also interested in the answer to the post above this :good: .
On a side note, could you share your experiences with the tablet?
Edit: What would happen if i tried using "Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v28" to root the tablet? I mean, if it doesn't work, will it have a negative effect? or will it simply not root?

you don't need to do it, it comes rooted and with superuser installed
anyone knows how to install a CWM and swap memory on Ramos W41 ?
please share if you know how to do it.
