[Q] HSG X5A Rooting Help

I just got the HSG X5A, it's running firmware #348 build number x5a 1.0
My problem is, I've looked through the dev/root thread for this device, and I found one click root, but I can't seem to get it to work. I'm not a complete noob, I do have some pretty extensive experience hacking android onto my HTC Titan, so I know most of the basics of using adb, flashing, etc...
If anyone could please help me out with some simple instructions on how to root this thing, I'd really appreciate it.
EDIT: Solved the problem, I'm a jackass. Please delete this post.

How do I root my Samsung Moment SPH-M900?

I know that somebody already has a how-to for this but I cannot find it by searching from my phone. Any help is appreciated.

[Q] i'm a complete noob~

i need help! i know i'm supposed to look through the threads myself before posting, as it has most likely already been answered, but i have no clue what i'm doing/looking for. i am trying to upgrade my samsung galaxy tab to a stable gingerbread/whatever else i can in order to be able to enable skype on it. i've heard you need at least gingerbread to do so, however. if someone could please just link me to the appropriate thread it would be greatly appreciated. i am working with a CDMA samsung galaxy tab through verizon. any addition help would be appreciated too. because again, i have no experience in this and don't know what i am doing. thank you! <3
