I was using Orange branded HTC Touch Dual but unfortunately some days back my phone is showing tricolor screen may be it is tetra color scrren(Red'Green'Blue and white" on red color text is appearing NIKI 100,SPL-1.16.0000,CPLD-4 while rest two are blank and on white color text is appearing "Serial".
My phone is showing the only above mention screen and rest is not working even i have performed manual hard reset but that is also not functioning.
could you please help me to sort our this problem.

I have an AT&T/ HTC 8925 that during flash it stopped and now I have the red, green blue and white screen. I followed the instructions on the screen for recovery and when I remove the battery and re-install it the screen comes back to the multiple color screens. Now even though my computer knows that I plug in the USB and the PDA screen goes from serial to USB, you still can not flash it. Is it a lost cause or is there someone that knows what to do? Help
Hi.! I need help fast.! I am an American. My name is Kenisha and I have the HTC Touch Pro 2. My phone has been acting funny everyday since I recieved it from AT&T. I try to use the keyboard but if I slide my phone too hard, the phone will power off. Same way if I want to slide my phone back to its original position. I do not know why this is happening. The latest problem I have had is that my phone has a weird screen on it. Four colors from top to bottom: Red, Green, Blue and White. I tried to reset my phone, it had no effect, I tried to take the battery out and see what happened. Also, I tried to reset the phone by pressing the the call button and end button and power button all at the same time. Again nothing worked. The words also say that there is "No File". Please help because i do not know what is wrong. I have only had this phone for two months
Take it to an At&t store, and get it swapped, did you try to install a rom or something
New WM 6.5 ROM on starting uses only blue and yellow in v low resolution.
Display technically OK - shows 3 colours on bootloader, and on Hardware Info it says 64k colours - just legible in its 2 lo-res colours.
After some duration 5-15min, using screen off/on h/w button, display suddenly clears to full colour and display resolution.
Free storage 169.15MB, free program 67.12MB, no change with cleanRAM.

This is most probably faulty lcd screen, so you might have to replace it with a new one.
Thank you, yes, tho it's odd that this onset only after flashing (and there was no mechanical damage).
Have clarified that switching screen off at any stage in the start-up will resolve it (gives normal screen) so I'll not try buying a new screen just yet.
May it be relevant that the first flash was interrupted by my PC's BSOD (first in months!); perhaps a voltage spike damaging a memory address?
Have you tried flashing it with the same rom, or the origional, to check if it is a faulty system file?
No, I'm nervous about flashing it again in case there was some hardware damage to video locations of memory during the BSOD - is that possible?
Have more detail on the fault sequence after soft-reset:
1. "smart mobility" logo displays normally (white text , black background) for 3s
2. red pixels disappear from this logo when Device ID data displays in red at lower R corner.
3. HTC splash screen displays in v low res in blue & yellow without red
4. start-up proceeds to desktop, display no change - unless
5. power off-on anytime after splash screen seems to re-start the display in full res and normal colours.

I bought an HTC shadow 2009 version off of ebay for $8 and it has a black screen issue. I can tell it boots up because although the screen is black, it flashes on and off as if it were changing boot animations, and then once it is booted the green led flashes like it has a text and the charging light is on, also i can get files off of it from my computer. So it shouldnt be a software issue, is what im thinking.. but i replaced the screen that it came with and it is still black. Does this sound like a software issue to anyone? Also when i try to hard reset the phone it goes through the original boot process it doesnt seem like it will allow me to hard reset it.. anyways all the searches i have done so far have suggested hard reset or replace screen. I have tried both and nothing has worked. Anyone have any suggestions?
Hello, I've got a problem with my Green Orange N1 Diamond. I bought it on android-cream.com and they are not responding my emails. When I turn the screen on, only strange glitches appear (more in attachment). Android seems to be working fine (even touch layer works, but I don't see what I am doing). So I think it could be problem with GPU. Is there any way I can fix it? Thanks.
