[Q] Will Mango support BT heart rate Monitors? - Windows Phone 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I practice running with sports tracker with mi nokia 5630 and with a polar HRM and an external GPS
I would like to run with my windows phone 7, but despite there are a lot of running applications, there is no support for Bluetooth HRM, because there is not an API to access BT
Will Mango solve this problem?

Unfortunately the answer is no, there is no BT API available to developers with Mango.

thanls for the answer, its a very bad new, wp7 is the unique smartphone platform without HRM

Joypad for Wizard?

Hey guys,
I am wondering something that probably went through evry handheld gamer's mind;
Is it possible to connect a gamepad joystick (maybe via usb?)? If so, would it be plug and play on WM 6.0? How would the configurations work???
Anyways, just a crazy idea...
Phil
P.s. - By the way, here's a bluetooth gamepad that supposedly works with all bluetooth enabled pocketpc, smartphone and symbian phones. What I'm asking for is a wired gamepad, not wifi, bluetooth or irda.

If anyone likes to splurge, this ones for you!

Unfortunately wizard cannot host usb devices- it only acts as a client.

[Q] Are people using mouse/keyboard when playing MP FPS games on Xoom/Honeycomb Tabs?

The Xoom will be my first android device picking one up this week. My only other tablet/mobile experiences were on an iPodTouch4G. As a C++ / Java dev, I've skimmed some of the Android App Dev books (though those were written for 2x about a year ago, not 3x/HoneyComb); though, I couldn't quite see anything in the syntax that would suggest preventative measures to stop people from doing this.
I'm assuming that any particular game from the android marketplace that enables multiplayer pools users from all android devices, tablets, phones, etc. With that said, I'm sure there's a few devices that can utilize either a Bluetooth or USB keyboard/mouse combo to play in these games.
I'm assuming I just didn't see the code though, and I am curious as to if devs are taking preventative measures for this in their app code to make sure people are all using the device (let us face it, it's easier to play an FPS with a mouse/keyboard, by a mile).
I ask this question partially as a curious developer, but also as a player of these games who enjoys them, and could foresee moments playing some shooter on my xoom swiping my fingers across the screen wondering if that guy owning me is using something a bit more accurate than finger swiping.
I don't play these games so I hesitated to respond...waiting to see if anyone else would. Do you have the Xoom yet? I can say that I have and use the Moto bt keyboard a MS bt mouse. They work perfectly for the usual business applications and I have used the mouse anywhere I wanted more precision of selection. I guess it may come down to whether the gaming app supports the keyboard and mouse inputs from the Xoom.
Just now searching for app to make possible android gaming with mouse + keyboard...
Just now searching for app to make possible android gaming with mouse + keyboard... no results... i have usb wireles keyboard and mouse logitech a320 - all works nice. but in games - just one touch from mouse - keyboard buttons not works at all. rummor say that full support of mouse is in android 3.0... Now will wait for custom rom with 3.0 to my haipad m7

[Q] How advanced is the concept to combine bluetooth with android and the ps3?

This is a question which has sent me into a Google rabbit hole.
So we have a powerful video game console, the ps3;
PS3 connects to select devices via bluetooth, but there doesn't seem to be a working model to connect an Android device to voice chat in game via bluetooth? We can video chat on the correct device, and there are apps such as the BlueputDroid (speaking of, where can I suggest a feature or permission to add a feature myself). Obviously this isn't an easy task. How would one get started? If this seems tacky, consider this; $300 for the PS3, then android devices range in price, but upwards to the $500 mark. I don't know about you, but there has got to be a slip in the programming of software on either the PS3 or Android (or both) for these to be high end devices, but lack of a popular feature among the gaming community. Thanks in advance!
P.S. Yes, I do have access to the Bluetooth SDK.

Seeking Developer Help for networking codebase

I'm looking to create a video game that uses a PC or console to drive the communal screen, while smartphones are used as controllers (running a companion app). Examples of this are most of, if not all, Jackbox Games. airconsole.com is also a suitable example.
Can someone out there help me with this? iOS and Android required.
