I've just installed CM RC1 & I've accidentally discovered that WHOLE device can be used in landscape except on thing, the lockscreen. Is the whole landscape thing unintentional? Or is it something in progress. If it's unintentional can Nexx fully implement it or is it something that needs to be officially made by Cyanogenmod? Thanks a million for Nexx for bringing us CM for our device & I hope that it's HIS version gets official. I also noticed now that the dialer isn't landscape.

I think there's an option in the dialler preferences to allow it to be used in landscape
Also, I've noticed that when I hit dismiss/snooze on the alarm in landscape mode, I get a flash of the lockscreen in landscape for a few seconds before reverting back to portrait...?
Thanks! Your right about the dialer. But about the flash of landscape, that even happened to me in stock HTC Sense in lock & home screen so probably it's just a glitch or something.

Then why isn't the lockscreen landscape. Is there an option that I need to enable or something?

Holy crap this ROM is the fastest Hero ROM I've ever used! Sucks that the flip clock doesn't work though, I think it's because weather doesn't work either.
Does anyone have the link to official XDA thread, I can only find the posts on leakdroid and they haven't even created an official thread over there either...

Wallpapers worked on all the hero builds I have tried.
The Camera is acting retarted, it's fine when it's in landscape mode but it seems inverted when it's straight.

Can any dev get this working for the sensation? It works, but FC on the app drawer if you try to sort the apps. It also needs adjusted to the qhd screen too.
EDIT: The pinch while in homescreen doesn't work either. EDIT 2: Just found it FC on long press of the home screen too.
The thread is located HERE and has the apk file in the op.
From what I've seen though, it's smooth and fast on a stock sensation (this doesn't mean it fully works). It works to an extent.
Thanks.
Here's the launcher in action
I downloaded the apk..and everything works fine...no fc on app drawer or anything

When in the app dawer, press the arrow in the bottom left. Also, the icons are not aligned right on the right side. There's a gap that's bigger than the left.

Yeah, I have the gap too. I guess it's just not for Sensation's screen resolution.
It FC on long press of the home screen too.
This is such a nice launcher. I don't see anybody willing to help.
Looks ok but top many fc's.

I'm looking for a lockscreen app that allows access to specific apps on my phone without actually unlocking my phone. For example, i want friends to be able to pickup my phone and call someone, select a new song, use the internet browser, but not actually unlock my phone. I tried a few different lockscreen apps and they all allow for the lockscreen shortcuts to specific apps, but if your phone is locked, u must unlock it before using the shortcuts. Ideally, the app im looking for would still have the same shortcuts as in widgetlocker, but wouldnt require lock, provide limited access to only the shortcut app, and then have the standard unlock screen as well. anything like this already out there? or is it possible to create something like this? Thanks!
I'm on droid bionic, gingerbread, rooted.
Don't know if this helps, but when I was on CyanogenMod 7.2, I enabled lockscreen gestures (can't remember exact menu steps). You can set up gestures like switch music tracks, open specified app, unlock, etc. This lockscreen is built into the ROM, though. Worked for me.

When you launched apps was the rest of the phone still locked? Most apps that have launch capabilities from the lock screen seem to lack security. after opening an app you can just use the home screen button or back button to get to the main menu.

Again, this app doesn't actually keep the phone locked. When u go to camera from the lock screen nothing stops you from simply clicking the homescreen button to unlock the phone entirely.

I have a problem with the wallpaper picker after update to JB: If the image is portrait I cannot set the whole image as wallpaper. See the attach image of the problem.
Anyone has this issue? Is there any fix to this issue?
Thats because part of the width is used for the scrolling. If you disable scrolling wallpaper you can use the entire image.
I dont know how to disable it in the stock JB rom though.
Wallpaper scrolling is disable in JB with sense 4+ and as far as I know it cannot be enabled.
Ok, thats weird, you should be able to use the whole picture then.
Solution found. I installed GO Launcher and disable wallpaper scrolling from GO settings. Now the wallpaper cropping works OK. It seems that wallpaper scrolling was enabled after all, but the default sense launcher ignored this option.

I'm afraid there's no solution with stock yet? It's just annoying because now that the wallpaper scrolling is permanently disabled in stock JB, i think it's best for a 540x960 wallpaper..

I want to stick with the stock launcher, but when I disable wallpaper scrolling from GO launcher it remains disabled for stock launcher to. It's not a perfect solution but it's the best I found.
I hope the HTC guys will fix this issue, but I'm not holding my breath...

Oh, look at that. Thats nice then, and shouldnt be hard to make an app that disables it without the need for a 2nd launcher.
Edit: I did a quick search on google, maybe this one can help? Not really scrolling WP enable/disable, but looks quite good anyway. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shirobakama.wallpaper
This app seems to be recommended by many as well: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.twistedapps.wallpaperwizardrii

I spoke with HTC support and their answer is that the wallpaper cropping is working as designed:
"kindly note that this is not an issue this is how Google (Owner of Android) decide to be used this option"
and after telling them that this isn't a Google related issue:
"The way how your phone is cropping the image is how our engineers decide to be."
So I think that this issue will not be fixed, at least the first app works OK and I don't need a second launcher.
Yeah, of course its google's fault.. Thats why the issue is present on AOSP roms and when using other launchers, as well as all other manufactures roms... oh wait... it isnt...
Why cant they just admit they (probably) forgot to set a flag that scrolling wallpaper = false in their launcher... Because thats quite obviously the case here.. The launcher(sense) does not support scrolling wallpapers, but android thinks it does..
