I've got a question for anyone who is willing to answer it
So, I want to theme a rom to make it look like aosp froyo (white status bar and such) how would I go about doing so?

Complete noob here, so forgive me if this is a stupid question!
I'm wondering if there is a way to change the theme on my ATT Fuze without flashing the ROM - I'm insecure about doing this, since I am deeply ignorant! But I would much prefer the look of the original Touch Pro (all black) look to the greys of the ATT Fuze.
Is this possible? Or is flashing the rom = to changing the theme?

no you don't need to flash a rom to change your theme. You can do that without flashing a rom.

What are you referring to? Roms? Apps? Theme modifications?
Have you taken a look around the Nexus S forum here? It contains all the information you will probably need already. Once you have done so, a more specific question might yield a useful result for you.

i would recommend the MIUI rom ver. 1.7.22 with their 'Dark' theme; or get the Brainmaster newest MIUI rom that comes with Trinity kernel.

i don't really use customs since they have problems in applications (i.e. game freezes, apps crashing)

In my experience some custom ROMs are faster and more stable than stock, but to each his own...

also, as a suggestion I have a lot of luck just typing in what I am trying to do and "xda" into Google and getting my question answered pretty fast, e.g. Google search "how to change notification bar color in android xda" and it links you to a relevant xda thread about it.
