Hi. Can someone, please, make a flashable zip with the stock CM7's framework?
I damaged mine and can't boot phone anymore.
Apk is in the attachment.
Thanks!
edit: don't need anymore. sorry for the topic. :/

Hey, I'm using a modded CM7, and I need a flashable zip with framework.apk and contacts.apk!
I like this mod, but the notification and contact text are impossible to read, so I just want to install the basic CM7 versions of those apps.
Also, if someone has suggestions on a better system messaging apk for CM7...

Stock roms replace clockwork with standard recovery, u have to remove a file to stop this happening. I know what I am asking for exists, I just can't find one with a working download link.

Thanks I did see that, but that has tweeks etc.. I am looking for straight stock, not altered except for root and that recovery file removed.
If all you're out to do is keep Clockwork, flash this after flashing (but before booting into) stock rom.

This and keep root, should I just flash super user zip at the same time?
Thanks for the help.
Yeah, that will work. What the above zip does is remove the script file that regenerates stock Android recovery, so Clockwork doesn't get deleted on every boot.

No reason for this to be in DEV.
Sent from my Nexus S
any question is in here right? haha
What version of CWM recovery is in this? Maybe raver or someone who's flashed this can tell me.
Sent from my SGH-T959V
It uses TWRP as the thread title states.
Nice work Raver!
For those not familiar with the Aroma installer, there are some good options in the "Advanced" screen. For example, I don't know if Audiophile ICS preserves /data by default when flashing. Aroma lets you back it up during the install process.
If you have a modem that you prefer to the KJ6 modem that is bundled with this ROM, you may want to use the Advanced settings to disable the modem flash.
Additionally, TWRP will let you stack zips, so you can, for example, flash in one pass:
ROM
gapps
Your own modifications in a zip
Kudos to Raver for not packaging gapps and obeying the licensing requirements imposed by Google.

you can just install if you want to keep anything do the custom install and then click backup data/restore data so it keeps your files in tact ... it will auto format system data cache for you
you will need to download a gapps package do to the fact i cannot include it in the rom itself i dont have a link for one but i think there is one floating around here.
ok i went to install the rom and my phone just resets
check md5 of your download if it matches try a reflash.
ok how do i do that im not used to flashing this phone yet my admire was easy to flash

Definitely a fun ROM!
I just noticed that Droid48 doesn't scale well to the "mini-tablet" format, but that is likely an app problem, not a ROM problem. Still totally usable, just funny to see the little calculator buttons and labels.
SuperUser didn't update properly for me through Play -- I'll see if I can reproduce later on.
Is there a way to convert a ROM, say the ICS ROM to a cwm flashable zip? I was wondering as I wanted to fix the su problem before flashing.

If I get my phone back for Christmas (cousin getting a new phone) I'll see what I can do. Don't need to convert this anymore

I think you can flash the ICS rom on your phone then get the rom files via "adp pull" and put them into an update.zip. It's just a sugestion, I have never tried :silly:. Or you can make an update zip only with the modfied files.

Do a dirty flash (no factory wipe/reset) that will do it.

Just flash the same ROM you did again, just don't choose wipe or anything.

"just flash the same ROM you did again" <-- this i am unsure about
I was using the weaksauce temporary root and accidentally uninstalled the stock messages app and am unsure how to get it back
I am very unfamiliar with flashing ROM's and anything of the sort.
Thanks again!

I flashed a custom wood lock screen and the process just keeps prompting that it's stopped working and I can't do anything inbetween prompts. Is there a fix for this? I don't want to have to reflash cm11s

If you can give me a link to the file you flashed then I might be able to pull the file from my stock one and PM it to you. But first try to restore from a backup.
