Hi
I bought it branded by a french network. Bouygueus telecom.
I flashed it with this file following the guide to unbrand it
GT-I9100_XEF_I9100XWKE2_I9100XXKE1_I9100XEFKE2.tar
I have now the follwing params
PDA: I9100XWKE2
PHONE: I9100XXKE1
1 - Here I have a question why I have PDA (E2 and phone E1)? Is it correct?
2 - Then I wanted to be able to update via kies 2 (it says "impposible to update the firmware") so I tried to change the csc by rooting and running a sgs toolbox... I MADA A MISTAKE!!! I installed the XEF(french) csc but for samsung galaxy S i9000 AND NOT i9100! so now my csc is
I9000XEFJP3??
how can i restore a i9100 one for french?
please help me!
I would really appreciate it.
thank you

Problems Unrooting my GT-N7000 Phone is bought in Norway (Unlocked & Unbranded)
Hi.. I just rooted my samsung galaxy note (GT-N7000) and now i have problems unrooting it.. Before i rooted the phone, i did not know that i needed to backup my files from my phone. I know, im stupid.. But now i have installed the stock rom for my phone.. I have installed the same firmware as other people from norway have on theyr phones.. yes i have checked But there is still one problem, the phone works ok until i connect it to "kies" then "Kies" tell`s me that "Your device does not support software upgrading via kies". So here is my question, how can i make my device support software upgrading via kies ?
Phone info:
PDA: N7000XXLC1
PHONE: N7000XXLB2
CSC: N7000OXXLB3
Build Info: Fri Mar 2 14:38:11 KST 2012
Modellnumber: GT-N7000
Android-Version: 2.3.6
Baseband-version: N7000XXLB2
Kernel-version: [email protected]#2
And all these numbers, is the same as other N7000 phones here in Norway.. So why dont my phone support software upgrading via Kies ?? And most importantly, how can i fix this problem. I am going to sell my phone, so i need it to be like when i bought it ?
Rom stock
You ought to flash a stock rom ... You can find it on samfirmware site ... You flash a stock firmware with Odin software ... The phone will be unrooted and kies will able to upgrade it ...
Excuse the my pronounce English but i'm an italian guy ...

If do you have some problems do you try to flash a stock kernel with a stock recovery ...
hi to all
my g/f had bought today a samsung i9003, everything ok, except that when I connect it with KIES it give me this error:
this device could not be upgraded with kies
and the other strange thing was that the CSC was KPE (KOR ) and I'm italian and the phone was bought in italy...
so I followed a tutorial and I change the CSC in KPE (ITV) (with csc changer) but I can't upgrade the phone (the android os version installed is 2.3.4)
and I cannot understand what rom is installed if it is rooted or not if it's official or not...
here some info of the phone
pda i9003xxkpe
phone i9003xxkpe
csc i9003oxakpe

let me know if it's better to chage this rom or install a stock rom or root it and install a cyanogen
thanks a lot in advance
XXKPE is a base rom. You may want to install an indian ROM from there or a Europe Stock rom BOTH are official download this from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1004647 choose XXKPQ for europe this is the used rom and most stable for us here.
---------- Post added at 10:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:03 PM ----------
If i were you dont go yet to cyanogen bcoz of many bugs like video recording etc. Stay in gingerbread. Or you may wanna try MIUI based on gingerbread no bugs. Look at dev. section..
I own Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 NT-8000 and live in country where OTA updates are not available yet. Probably they will never be So I want to update FW manually through ODIN. I've read many how to manuals but still not sure if I upgrade new SAMSUNG FW in region where It is not still available will be still able to make calls and use data services. I will be upgrading last original FW by Samsung 4.1.2. And which FW should i use ? Internetional Thx for any suggestions.
Yes you can update using ODIN bother the tutorial and the firmware can be found on the links in my signature.
I would suggest use the UK 8010 Rom, 4.1.2 is not available for your device the one which is there is for 8000 it can work but will not suggest
Thanks for replay i want to upgrade last supported fw it is 4.1.1. With 4.1.2 that was misstake. I got rooted my device so first i should to unistall supersu thant restore original loader used to install supersu than reset my device to default settings and perform fw update.
you can use the n8000 rom. I have used it on my n8010 with no problems at all everything working great. Flashed with cwm 6.0.2.3, only thing is you will have telephone features that that wont work and your device model will change from 8010 to 8000
Link to 4.1.2 rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1909950

But i got n8000 and i want to use telephone, sms and data services. Problem was that I've bought my devices in region which is forgotten by Samsung :good: and I want to use all new features and don't lose ability to make calls. I am bit confused still ain't know which one FW to download so I post my device I'D to attachment. pls check it  Thx :victory:

Im still not sure about 2 things. First as I mentioned in previous topic, I have performed ClockworkMod Recovery through ODIN before rooting . should I first restore previous recovery mod and then upgrade firmware?
Is this FW suitable for my device base on img which i post in topic above?

Or should I install this one ?
Mate, it is the stock German rom. Either link will get you the same rom. There is a new German 4.1.2 rom out that gets rid of the exynos exploit.
You can find ALL stock roms at sammobile.com in the firmware section(you will need to register to download).
You need to unzip the file first, don't try to flash with CWM as IT WON'T WORK. You flash the .tar file in the PDA section of ODIN. MAKE SURE RE-PARTITION IN ODIN IS UNTICKED... Let the whole procedure finish, disconnecting throughout the flashing process will result in a brick. You will need to re-root the tablet after this.
On the other hand, you can flash the tar file in Mobile ODIN on the tablet itself and maintain root doing this.
I have a S6 920I installed with 5.1.1 and i accidentally used the ODIN root meant for 5.0.2. i have browsed through the forums and it seems that the only way to un-brick it is to flash the stock firmware. The problem with this is that the firmware is taking 5 days to download and the download always fails. Please, if anyone has this firmware, can they link it to me. Much thanks will be given
Model SM-G920I

Try flash with Unikernel to S6
Thank you ... I had no idea if the d-load was working or not, so I stopped.
After 5-days, 24/7, over wifi, how do you know that the download was successful?
I'll try doing it now ...
My S6 (Australia) works ok, but not perfectly. Some annoyances, such as screen-off stops playing radio, podcasts & music.

Softbricked. I often get this. Android 5.1.1
Model SM-G9201, BUILD G920IDVU2C0GA
To get out of this, press two hardware keys at the same time, for at least five seconds:
POWER, VOLUME-DOWN
Does this answer your question?
This is stock Nougat if you want to update it or just simply return back to stock ... Flash with odin!

What a nightmare! Please help me return to working root or back to original firmware. Thanks included in my media files are screenshots of the SM-G935V/SM-935T INFORMATION.
