G920F - How to find out the firmware country? (to flash a new one)

Hi guys,
I wanted to flash the new firmware I have a G920F (firmware G920FXXU3COI9). I bought it online on craigslist, so I don't know where this one come from (maybe Africa, it came with some weird built in apps.
Is there a way to figure the country?

Why you need the country... It doesn't matter . flash any F rom or firmware and you're OK !

I thought I would need my region. Thank you very much. Kind of off topic, can I flash this official rom without root?

Can i flash any firmaware from samsung live firmare page on mine 920f, never mind country code? How to flash that file if i can to do that?

download firmware from SAMFIRWARE database ... you gona find "HOW TO" there ...

I tried but there was failed at some hidden.img file. After that i stuck at emergeny mode, restored with smart switch (so slow download )and after that again 5.1.1. Malasyia version. How to upgrade to 6.0.1.?

Galaxy S6 G920F - Enable VoLTE - Australia

Hi All,
Does anyone know what G920F Stock Nougat ROMS have VoLTE enabled by default? My preference would be to flash a stock Nougat ROM for this rather then rooting the phone and altering the system/csc/Features.xml file.
I have found a couple of forums on here for enabling VoLTE in India using a France based XEF ROM but i doubt that would be applicable for use in Australia?
Basically if possible my preference would be a non-rooted stock ROM with voLTE enabled so it will work here in Australia and that it has a valid firmware installed (i.e correct CSC PDA version etc for a region) so that it can continue to receive official OTA updates or be updated through Smart Switch.
If there is no other option then i would consider rooting the device.

i could post an official XSA CSC (Nougat G920i) for your G920F to enable you to get volte working without rooting, but you will still not be able to get the official OTA updates.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Are you aware of any unbranded G920F regions where VoLTE is enabled in the stock ROM? My preference would be to flash this instead.
As for VoLTE does the service operator require the phone to be a certain CSC in order for VoLTE to be activated or is it simply the fact some G920F ROMs do not have VoLTE enabled by default which would be the reason i cannot use VoLTE with my current Vietnam Nougat ROM?

I noticed on another XDA forum that you successfully flashed a G920I ROM on the G920F? I understand the modems between these variants are different hardware wise. I'd be happy to flash the full G920I XSA ROM on my G920F if you are confident it would work? Would i need to flash a modem.bin file from a G920F ROM after i flash the G920I ROM to ensure it is compatible with my modem?
If i could do this i'm assuming that the G920F would then look like a G920I XSA phone so i could then have VoLTE working and continue to receive OTA updates?

Or maybe i should just flash the Thailand (THL) Nougat ROM on the phone? i have read it has VoLTE enabled so hopefully my mobile operator here in Australia will allow this to enable VoLTE.

A little problem with my phone.

I bought a Samsung J7 Nxt(India)/Neo(USA and Other countries)/Core(Middle East) (Model - SM-J701F/DS) from a middle eastern country and brought it to India. And the problem is that the device is enabled with Volte services but I cannot use the Volte (displaying 4g but not Volte) in here. Ive searched a couple of forums it says that the middle eastern countries are not using Volte services yet thats why my device cannot use the 'Band' (I dont know what it is) which is compatible with the Indian Bands. So please can anyone help.

I am already having the Indian rom and checked with a phone of the same model.. All the details for example build number, CSC version all are same but still no VOLTE.
P.S. The other indian model has Volte

..then maybe volte is not supported in your country....try to use this rom REFINED NOTE 8 FOR J701X..it has volte feature..currently im using this rom..

Volte is supported in my country. I want to use the original firmware tho.. thank you for the suggestion

did that already.. and I am using the indian firmware for like 6 months but still no Volte

[REQUEST] Indian CSC for galaxy S6 for Nougat.

Can anyone extract Indian CSC compatible with Galaxy S6 on 7.0 2018 builds so that i can use voLTE in my phone.

This is my thread in which voLTE was working on 7.0 but with older builds ( 2017 builds ). Now when i updated my phone and use the same procedure i am unable to achieve what i want. The file gets flashed successfully without any error but nothing changes. CSC does not change to INS or INU ( looked by using Phone Info ).
So can anyone please extract the CSC and upload it.

@mustakim_1994 Hi, try using this Flashable CSC Installer. You can flash it with TWRP. I got VoLTE working. (Carrier is o2 DE / DBT is my CSC)

Bro, does this work on Galaxy S6 G920F model? because the OP say its for s7 and up devices

this flashable zp is too big bro and i have internet issues at my place...
can't you just extract the indian csc which i can flash on my galaxy s6 G920F??

If I only have to extract it and then make a flashable zip I can do that for you.

First of all i have an s8+ g955w with csc g955woya5bsa1 but i just found throgh imei info and samsung phone info app that my s8+ is g955U so its clear that my phone is converted bcuz samsung phone info says my prodyxt code is g955uzsaxac. Now plz help me regarding going back to g955 u conpletely without any mess like network lock or any other glitch bcuz if i got my g955u as my stock rom and stock csc etc then i ill get android pie officially so plz help my

See that 5. Thats your revison bootloader. You need to flash the same revision 5 combimation rom. Then the U revision 5 of your choice...
If the device is sim unlocked you will face no issues. If it is still locked it will only work on whatever carrier and it's under companies. Say like att also has cricket straight talk tracfone and net10 that all run on att just flashing firmware won't relock it
