I had the older version that supported WLM. When the latest version came out they said it won't support WLM anymore and not to update if you use WLM. The app page in marketplace says WLM is not supported in v1.5. The version listed is 1.4 but it doesn't say it supports WLM. Their website also doesn't say it supports it.
I want to reinstall the app because live tiles aren't working but don't want to lose WLM if it's not supported anymore.
If you reinstall it you will lose WLM they were pretty clear about that. Best bet is to wait for Mango as it will fix live tile/notification issues (supposedly) and you will also get integrated WLM in messaging.
I updated to 1.4 a few weeks ago and WLM has been working since. Could that be because I had it before?
I'm posting this question because yes they were clear about the new version not supporting WLM, but I updated to the latest version and it is still working.
If you had it and updated then yes it would still work. However if you uninstall it to do a fresh install you will definitely lose WLM.

Yesterday I had to do a factory reset on my WM6.5 phone which forced me to reinstall all my applications. I had a few applications installed via marketplace, but I can't reinstall them because marketplace keeps telling me it can't connect (applications that I had not installed previously using marketplace can be installed without any problems).
So my question is, how can I remove applications from my purchased list ? I checked the marketplace website, but there is no such button and searching the web didn't offer the solution .
I've just installed an update for marketplace, but I still can not install previously purchased (free) applications. It keeps giving me
Error We encountered an error while trying to reach the Windows MarketPlace server

I've already adjusted my time and changed the Aku value from .5.5.0 to .5.3.00. I've even tried installing an older (hacked) version but that didn't work either.
If tried it over edge, wifi and activesync, using different catalogs, nothing works
Btw, I'm now using Marketplace 1.2.1422.0000
The problem fixed itself a few days ago.
Probably was something wrong at the Microsoft side of life
I have tried using both Google and XDA-Devs searches for this question but to no avail.
Most ROM chefs seem to be using 10.7 version of Windows Live Mobile, but if you goto the Microsoft Windows Mobile Marketplace there is a version on there marked 11.1 but the description doesn't seem very professional if it is a Microsoft release.
Has anyone tried this 11.1 version from the marketplace? Is it a proper Microsoft release? Etc etc
i just downloaded windows live from marketplace n its version 10.7 i have no issues
I'm suspect of the 11.1 version on Marketplace. I installed it and my phone ran noticeably slower. I uninstalled 11.1 and automatically version 10.7 came back. Bingo! My phone was back to full speed.
Today as soon as I opened my Android Market app in my HTC Desire, it showed me that and update for Google Maps version 5.5.0 is available. And I was able to update it without any problem.
But later I did a factory reset of my phone because the Mobile security in my phone was malfunctioning (not because of new google maps) from last few days due to some unknown reasons.
After reset I was expecting to get the google maps updated automatically, but unfortunately it did not. I am afraid why it is so?
I was eagerly waiting for the update form last so many months, and finally when I got it, I lost it even before I could explore it nicely.
Please tell me I you have any idea how can I retrieve my update to version 5.5.0? Or any suggestions related to the matter.
Thanks a lot.
Dunno, go to the market, find Google Maps and tap on update? What am I missing here?
the thing is that it first has to register that you haven't updated google maps - after downloading it today, they registered on the server that you had already recieved it.
best thing to do is to go to market.google.com and try there to download google maps there; it will check the version and when it sees the old version, will override to update!
Got market enabler from market, fake provider like T-Mobile, install as usual.

Hello,
I've updated my device to mango beta.
Now I've version 7661.WP7_5_Trial?
How can it be that I don't have Bing Music?
Also, Instant resuming is not working?
Do I have an older version or something?
I have an Omnia 7.
The new Bing features may not be available in Belgium just yet.
As far as instant resuming, third party apps have to be updated to work with Mango in order for this to take place. Since, no one can publish Mango'd apps to the Marketplace yet, the only way to do this right now is develop an app of your own with the necessary update or download someone else's.
Hi, I updated to official Mango yesterday, but Marketplace seems not to know about it. I'm still stuck with 7.0 apps, which I wasn't offered to update to their Mango versions. I'm not able to install Mango-only apps such as HTC Connected Media, I'm not getting HTC Attentive Phone update etc...
Is there any solution to force Marketplace to offer me Mango apps? THX
Look for the app in the marketplace, and you can update it there.
I hope marketplace will offer it automatically for all together soon, so i don't have to do it one by one.
Thank you, but that's pretty obious. But it's just a workaround, not a real solution, as I expect that auto-updating via Marketplace won't ever work in the future.
I even tried hr, but Zune did not installed my apps back. So I installed them manually and will wait for any updates - if they come or not.
I have the same issue, no notification for app updates are showing up after installing Mango (forced with the disconnect trick). I don't know if it's because of the forcing the update or just a general issue. But I definitely have apps installed that have a Mango version available.
What is also annoying & strange is that the Marketplace is still in French (I'm from Belgium) where it should have been in Dutch for me since Mango was released.
If anyone knows the cause / solution I would be very grateful.
Thanks !

No one is able to install these updates, just wait.
I didn't see any update notifications until I enabled my data service on my phone. Then literally, seconds after. 9 new updates.
This happened while I was on vacation, had wifi on in many places, but when I got back home at the airport, data on. Found a bunch of updates waiting to be installed.
That's a serious problem.
