I have the shifts3ns3 1.4x on my phone right now. Whats the easiest way to get back to stock ???
Thanks
You mean stock unrooted or just a stock ROM?
Stock unrooted - there is a thread in the development section by jcase where you flash 2 RUUs and you're done.

Stock rooted - search for 1.70.605.0 ROMs in the development section.

That will bring you back to stock 2.1. Doesn't allow AT&T OTA updates but good enough if you want to then flash up to COG.
Is there a way to restore back to original out of the box that will allow OTA updates? I have Cog and I want to go back to the original ROM but would like it to be fully functional.

you can use Odin to wipe your phone completely back to factory settings. I beleive it even removes root if you need to service your phone under warranty. I did that just recently and then flashed Cognition.

Use the previously mentioned ODIN to flash back to stock. Then download the mini kies program from samsung. Do an update using mini kies and that will bring you up to the most recent ROM stock ROM. I don't know if this will now support OTA updates since there have been no new OTA updates beyond what the Mini Kies will give you.
Got it. So Mini Kies I can download directly from Samsung correct?

I think he was saying he wanted a absolute stock to go back to just incase without the root access. To get it back to how it was when he bought it.

Exactly. I just needed that "go back to" for oopsies moments lol.
ROM manager contains most ROMs including stock ones. I would think that's your easiest solution.
There are a couple of rooted stock ROMS over in the dev section.

I downloaded the rooted stripped version but app are always stop working. Any help given would be awesome.
Wrong section. Should be in q and a. Use Odin to reflash root rom or Verizon bloated stock

Check to see if kies will do the update first, but if not then yeah do that.
Kies software statment : no root to upgrade
Personally I tried and didn't work
I be prefer to installed cwm recovery and take ICS ROM from development is running perfect. That what I have done.
Is there anyway to do this? Currently I am rooted with S-Off and on Cyanogenmod 7.2. I want to go back to the stock rom GB 2.3.4 and still keep my root. I went to this thread but the link for the rooted stock rom is down. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1264704&highlight=mirror.
