Hey guys I only have 3 Widgets on my 5 homescreens and what I notice is that my phone gets very choppy but when I remove those 3 widegets the phone becomes so smooth. I'm using the Nexus s. Any way around this?

Hey guys... I work for Bell Canada and we sell the One V and One S. frankly I see alot more lag on my One X than both of the phones... Even the One V.
Today I sold a customer a One V and noticed no lag whole opening the App Drawer...while on my One X it took 2 seconds to open and then it was a terrible jerky animation to boot. I've come to the conclusion that its an issue with the app drawer not staying in the RAM because it's usually good after opening it once for about 5 minutes then its laggy again afterwards.
Does anyone know a solution to the issue?

Yea I think we all have this problem. I'm gonna guess that this might be fixed iin the 2.xx update.

So after playing with my nexus 5 for a few hours now, I've noticed that I do not like how much room the nab bar takes up. I think the back background of it is twice the size it should be. I'm used to the non virtual ones on my S2 that did not take up the screen.
What are some alternatives without rooting? I'm not ready to root yet.

No flaming please. I've looked everywhere but I'm also extremely exhausted. I can't seem to figure out how to add shortcuts to the locksreen

Why do you think you should be able to?
That feature is not a part of Android

This is my first nexus phone. So I didn't know. Always thought I could have my apps on the lock ring

Just wait for the custom roms to start dropping. You will see that feature soon.

Sorry about that. Like I said, I'm tired and not thinking straight. I thought the shortcuts came with Android. Didn't know those were mods

Actually shortcuts is a part of CyanogenMod
The excact same lock sreen is available with CM 10.1.3 and forward, WITH shortcuts
But I would like this feature on my new Nexus 5 ... Any suggestions?
Holy old thread revival Batman!
I was going through my wallpapers and I've noticed that one of the wallpapers has been cropped by default and I can't get it to display right.
I've tried to reboot the phone but that didn't help.
Any one knows how to get this wallpaper back to normal size besides factory reset?

Mine is like that too, I wonder if the recent launcher update did that?

I just checked and mine is the same way. It definitely happened after the update because literally the day before I updated I changed my wallpaper and now I can't even adjust it.

I don't have that issue neither.

Nooppee hahaha, you can probably redownload the stock photo and then just set a wallpaper from your photos
This was an issue a year or so ago also, after one of the Google Services updates.
Hello everyone, is there a dock that works with the Nexus 5 but sits in landscape? I see a couple third party docks that hold it up in portrait, and of coarse the magnetic wireless charging docks, but no landscape.

Well nope. I seriously believe there is no such thing at this point. Pretty sad.
Its really hitting me now that I have really been looking, that there is literally no accessories beyond simple basics made for the Nexus 5. What is the deal with that? Nothing. It's pretty crazy. I see all these other devices with insane accessories for every imaginable situation and am in shock. And then go to look for the same for the Nexus 5 and sure enough. Nothing.
Seems like a popular enough phone, i don't understand.

The orb that was released with the Nexus 4 works just fine in landscape. I use it every night with my Nexus 5.
