After 36 minutes (always the same time) of streaming video from the internet either via media server (Playon app) or direct from a web page, the audio and video will lose sync. This occurs in both TnT Lite 2.3 and Vegan 5.1. I have search the forum for days without finding a solution.
Do I have something set wrong on my G Tablet or is there a solution to this problem?
Thanks
I'm in for the answer.
I get to about 5 minutes, after which the video stops, while audio continues.
When I watch YouTube video in hq using the YouTube app. The video loads quite slow and it buffers every 5 to 10 seconds. My WiFi speed gets 20mb/s. Watching low quality like 320p gives me no problem that I'm aware of. Any fix to this?
Hi all,
I have a bit of a complicated, advanced question which i think would also require an advanced complex solution (hope im wrong and there is a quick fix). Basically the problem i am experiencing is with my 7" android 4.0.4 tablet phone and video streaming, whenever i use a video streaming app e.g youtube, hubi etc etc the video wont load in a proper fashion. What i mean by this is even though you have a very fast internet connection e.g wifi, the video wont load properly and i will experience pauses before the video needs to pre-load again but for some reason wont continue to pre-load as it should, it would stop pre-loading after a few seconds then when the play marker reaches the pre-load marker it would stop before it starts to pre-load again which causes video pauses while playing. The video will take unusually long to start up, once started it will play for a short while before it pauses again to load up again. Let me make this clear to all who may attempt to answer this question, it is not a problem of the wifi reception becuase full reception is received and my download rate is 38 MBPs. It's something to do with how the movies are pre-loaded it seems the apps i am having problems with afore mentioned have a technical fault in pre-loading the video streams. Further to help you understand ive realised flash tehcnology movies pre-load beautifully and smoothly e.g the video stream pre-loads quickly in seconds and the whole movie would take a couple of minutes to pre-load as is expected with a 38 Mbps DL rate. The same problem is experienced via 3G high speed connection. I personally think the problem lies within the android OS and NOT with the connection methods e.g wifi and 3G. Any help would be much appreciated.
To help you help me, here is some information about my tablet phone:

Hello, I'm new here
I just noticed that 1080 and 720 videos at 60 fps have become choppy on my nexus 5.
I can't post links, but gamersyde 720/1080 60 fps videos (i.e. the Mario Kart 8 ones), for example.
Until some time ago my nexus played the streaming perfectly, without a single frame drop or stutter. Even 1080/60 videos from the same site. Now they have become choppy... could someone try and see if it is an issue from my phone? If so, what could it be?
Thanks

It could just be whatever service you're streaming from, or your connection. Are you sure it's definitely your device causing the issue? Any sort of streaming works fine for me with no issues whatsoever.
I'm using the same connection I have always used. Aniway, if I download instead of streaming, the framerate is perfect
I have tried other connections, but the results where the same: videos streaming at 720 or 1080 at 60 fps, that played perfectly until some time ago, now stutter

Can you do a speed test to make sure the connection speeds are not too low? Sometimes WiFI has issues reaching its potential speed.
For instance my WiFi should be about 16Mbps down, however from time to time my phone is unable to pull more than 4Mbps but it only really becomes apparent if I'm trying to stream high quality video.
I can fix it by either going into Airplane mode and back, or disabling mobile data while using WiFi which technically happens automatically but can still be used as a work around.
Also, you'll get choppy results if the video has DTS audio over the network without using a custom codec.

I am trying to stream my Gear VR experience using a paid app called Screen Stream Mirroring. I can get it to stream with no problem however, any streaming I do results in a video fee that is EXTREMELY laggy, unwatchable. I'm connected to my home network, which I have zero issues with when streaming 1080 from my PC. I downloaded a seperate app to locally record what's on the screen, as soon as I start playing a game, it records it fine but as I go to watch my game through a video player app, the video is choppy. Maybe 1 frame for every 3 seconds. Same as when I stream for others to watch. Same thing happened when I connected my chromecast. My TV shows a mirror of my phone but it is horrendously laggy. I've had some serious issues with this phone since day 1.
Any idea what could be causing it? I've seen other users stream and mirror with no issues, why am I unable to do it? I can't record, I can't stream, and I can't even mirror to my tv because it all lags horrendously.
I'm using a Note 5. It's not running stock I'm using a custom OS and firmware courtesy to XDA.
I am currently using TEKXodus rom and SkyHigh kerner.
Last issue I have, and this is something I have had since day 1, is when ever I try to watch videos on youtube or download files, it's significantly slower compare to my Note 3. I can not watch 1080 videos or 720. Even at 640 my videos sometimes lags! I don't understand why, I have unlimited internet. I called Tmobil but they said that everything is working fine. Anyone has any ideas? I really dislike the Note 5 ;/ I miss my Note 3
