After 36 minutes (always the same time) of streaming video from the internet either via media server (Playon app) or direct from a web page, the audio and video will lose sync. This occurs in both TnT Lite 2.3 and Vegan 5.1. I have search the forum for days without finding a solution.
Do I have something set wrong on my G Tablet or is there a solution to this problem?
Thanks
I'm in for the answer.
I get to about 5 minutes, after which the video stops, while audio continues.

Please, could someone watch this specific video stream (in the UK) - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/9585045.stm and let me know if it is smooth with no stuttering.
I experience a stutter every 20 seconds or so - I'm wondering if it's the TF or some background process I'm running.
it's 13:13 GMT right now, the stream runs for another 75 minutes.
Hey,
I just got a TF300 and I've been trying to get video streaming to work on the tab. I'm using BubbleUPNP and I've tried about a dozen video players to go with it (dice player, vplayer, moboplayer etc etc).
The issue I'm having is that the video just randomly stops. I'm not having any issues relating to video quality or file formats. I'll be streaming a video and the video will just randomly stop, and because its streaming I can't resume at the same place I have to start again.
I have not yet managed to complete a single video without it being exited at a random interval. Its not always the same place, sometimes I'll get 20minutes in, other times 10minutes of the same video file.
I'm using iSedora media center to stream across my internal LAN. I've been using this program to stream to my TV without issues for over a year.
At the moment it looks like WiFi could be the culprit however
a) I've used WiFi Analyzer to find an unused channel for my router
b) I've tested the stream right next to my router at about -20dBm to -30dBm
c) I have tried a factory reset
d) I have tried 8dBi antenna and they just made my signal worse
Any assistance here would be amazing
Thanks
FMM
Have you tried UpnPlay?
Just so you can rule out the client.
i use emitapp for streaming - works perfectly over lan and at work.
it does allow resuming from a specific point in the video as well.
Hi all,
I have a bit of a complicated, advanced question which i think would also require an advanced complex solution (hope im wrong and there is a quick fix). Basically the problem i am experiencing is with my 7" android 4.0.4 tablet phone and video streaming, whenever i use a video streaming app e.g youtube, hubi etc etc the video wont load in a proper fashion. What i mean by this is even though you have a very fast internet connection e.g wifi, the video wont load properly and i will experience pauses before the video needs to pre-load again but for some reason wont continue to pre-load as it should, it would stop pre-loading after a few seconds then when the play marker reaches the pre-load marker it would stop before it starts to pre-load again which causes video pauses while playing. The video will take unusually long to start up, once started it will play for a short while before it pauses again to load up again. Let me make this clear to all who may attempt to answer this question, it is not a problem of the wifi reception becuase full reception is received and my download rate is 38 MBPs. It's something to do with how the movies are pre-loaded it seems the apps i am having problems with afore mentioned have a technical fault in pre-loading the video streams. Further to help you understand ive realised flash tehcnology movies pre-load beautifully and smoothly e.g the video stream pre-loads quickly in seconds and the whole movie would take a couple of minutes to pre-load as is expected with a 38 Mbps DL rate. The same problem is experienced via 3G high speed connection. I personally think the problem lies within the android OS and NOT with the connection methods e.g wifi and 3G. Any help would be much appreciated.
To help you help me, here is some information about my tablet phone:
The latest 7" dual sim tablet phone
OS: Android 4.0.4
Kernel version: 3.0.13
Model: ALPS.MID
Hi there, any help on this matter would be appreciated, I have looked at many other threads about similar issues and none seem to help me.
So what is happening is when I play a song it randomly pauses, sometimes after 2 minutes and sometimes after 5-10 min. I have used Pro player, sony walkman app and also the stock music app but they all do it.
Also when I go to the internet as soon as a page starts loading the music pauses every time on chrome or stock browser.
It does this on bluetooth in my car, headphones and through the built in speaker.
Another issue is playstore will not let me download unless I am connected to wifi. when I download it it just says waiting for wifi and queues it but just sits there saying that.
Again I have looked through countless threads and still no answers.
I have a Sony Xperia T lt30a with custom rom MIUI - 3.11.1
Thanks in advance for any help!!:good:
