nope just got the infuse im happy with it .. might look at the sgs2 when it launches but i think ill stay with the infuse for a while

I still dont get why you posted that here...their is a droid bionic forum why didnt you post on there? The samsung infuse has nothing to do with motorola droid bionic...ok so it might come to att thats the only thing they have in common but last i remembered this isnt a att forum its the samsung infuse forum...if you have a question about the infuse then i would be more then happy to help you out with that...

I have to agree it's pretty much pointless to make a thread of a non att phone in a att phone thread. I can understand an SII thread since they're making a SII for ATT or even an iPhone, Inspire, Atrix, LG garbage Thrill that just came out.
I'm sure most may not probably agree but I believe Verizon phone threads are pretty much pointless unless it's something really major (like reopening unlimited data plan) or something.

The others are right. There is no need to post about an entirely different phone on the Infuse 4G forum. And yes, I will be closing this and other threads that have nothing to do with the Infuse too.
If you want to discuss the Bionic or any other phone for that matter, find their respective forums and post there, or post in XDA General for that matter.

Sorry this is general chit chat but I went to best buy to get my nexus and had cm7 on my evo. Here is the deal:
Me:evo getting nexus s
wife:evo
son:bb tour getting my evo
When they did the swap on the lines my evo with cm7 wasn't working so my son handed it to the salesman w/out me knowing about it. And the salesman was practically jumping saying how did you get 2.3 when its not even released? I was red in the face and told my wife why did he give that to him. I got home put .ruu on it and fixed it for him. WOW never again will i give a salesman a rooted cell; well actually my son did. What an experience. I love my nexus s but starting to want the 3d now.

I have the Evo, the 3D, and the Nexus S 4G. The 3D has a better screen (yes, actually better than AMOLED! More accurate colors, no blue-tint, and brighter) and is dual-core and 1.2 GHz and has double the RAM. It feels just as snappy as the NS4G. I'd say stick with the NS4G until they root the 3D, unless you love Sense.
The Evo is kind of like a Nexus One, a ton of ROMs and mods.

It got it very recently so the idiot salesman probably didn't know about the update. Also, he probably was baffled by lack of Sense.
Seeing this thread in development section ruined my whole day :/ made me forget about the update we were suppose to get....

They tend to not care but some wont service it until it returns to stock. Most sprint employees use roms as well

I flashed this rom and my Nexus grew arms and legs and started moonwalking and grabbing itself...
In a press release today AT&T has stated all phones release this year will be updated to 2.3. On that list is an interesting title, the Samsung Captivate 4G. Does any one have an idea what that might be?

Same here, it DID say Captivate 4G before.
Under upgrade details. The end of the first paragragh mentions the Captivate.

Yeah, but previously it said Captivate 4G, not Captivate. They removed the 4G at some point today.

So yes another one of these threads. I'm not bashing on the g2x at all it is a great phone... However since I upgraded to it and had hardware issues software issues even after the gb update I did what any upset customer would do. Called tmobile and complained then filed a bbb complaint after recieving 4 replacement phones. They then responded by offering me the sensation. YES it was worth it. This phone imo is truely better it functions flawlessly no lag no dropped signal no WiFi issues and great data connections.
So if any of you are in the process of deciding to keep or swap. Take my word for it and just get rid of your headache and get the sensation. It's 100% worth it.
Best decision made so far regarding phones.
And yes I know this is one giant run-on my phone typing and grammar skills with autocorrect and the new keyboard is a little shakey.

I just hope the next couple releases don't break driver compatibility.
Like Froyo and Gingerbread weren't a big deal to upgrade from Eclair. That's good. That reduces fragmentation. When you break driver compatibility, you make upgrading a monster pain in the ass and it's slow.

I totally agree with you there.
I bought the Skyrocket for a few main reasons:
LTE
Benchmarks compared to others available at the time of purchase.
The promise of the ICS update
If I wasn't in need of a phone at the time of purchase, I would have most likely picked up the Note.
I am a patient person and can wait for the release. If I don't like what is provided I am sure there will be plenty of other ROMs to choose from at the time as ICS should be available for the other 'brother' devices shortly.
But seriously, with all of the griping that I am seeing regarding ICS it makes me wonder what is going to be said when Jelly Bean becomes available...

LG/Huawei makes low end phones so the phones they have on here either have to be popular and or high end smart phones. U might wanna google what your looking for or u can look in the android dev section and goto the android software development and hacking. (Before i edited this i was still pissed that htc dropped the mytouch line and was thinking about that and typed that instead lol )

that is not for huawei mytouch q. we need huawei mytouch dev suport. the mytouch name is made by to many people so to make things easier to find use in your search huawei mytouch
