HI folks, I'm using Samsung galaxy i1550. I tried to root my phone using universal-androot and it was successful. After that i flashed clockworkmod recovery. And i thought of making a back-up of my current stock-ROM and there it was... my phone suddenly got blacked-out. Now i cant even turn-on my phone. I tried all the different possibilities like holding 'vol down+home+power', 'vol up+vol down+power', dint work .!! help me please
I insisted on posting this here because no one gave me a reply where it was actually posted. sorry
I am not familiar with that phone, but can you get a standalone battery charger for it? Maybe the battery is too dead to charge through the phone.

Hi all
I have new Samsung Dart (android)- the device won't turn on after I installed ClockworkMod,
I tried to add addition language fonts to the phone,
I rooted the device first,
Then i installed "ClockworkMod"
I tried removing the battery, holding the power+volume down for 30 sec
nothing....
any advice will be welcomed.
Thanks
did you try putting the battery back in and holding vol up and power to boot into recovery?

Made me laugh
Did you ever get anything on the screen when trying to power on again? How did you install clockworkmod, and what version did you use? Also what is the source link to the clockworkmod that you used?
If you can get back into download mode on your phone, you can find the stock roms/tools/directions at
http://www.madteam.co/forum/development-70/(archive)-stock-roms-and-tools/
>>Did you ever get anything on the screen when trying to power on again
Nothing, its Dead like a rock
Will USB Jig help? or 300K resistor?
Thank you!
Sounds like you will have to send it in for repair. I don't think that a jig will help you.
Where did you get CWM from, and what version? Was it for the T499 or for S5570?
The Phone is bricked. I killed mine too flashing the clockwork mod, it did not belong on this phone. I think the phone is not on the list because it is not supported. The only way to fix it is to re install the factory boot loading files thought the service pins in the back of the circuit board using a special tool. I'm looking at mine as I type. Oh well, it happens, I just went ahead and bought an used HD2.
For anyone that does want CWM on the SGH-T499, have a look here http://www.madteam.co/forum/development-70/(development)-clockworkmod-recovery-for-sgh-t499/

Thank you in advance,

Kyrillos' ROM supports it i think. Go on the development forum and search for Kyrillos' 9.5
Hello,
Thank you for your reply, what about the second part of my question, please?
I remove/unplug the cable during the installation thinking that my mobile got frozen... when I use the "Power" button , I have no display, what to do also..
Thank you for your help in advance,
Hold the volume down, home button and power button at the same time for 5 seconds and it should go into download mode. If it doesn't go into download mode, your phone has been hard bricked which means it is useless but i doubt that will happen because i have unplugged my phone whilst i was installing a ROM and used the procedure i have written and it worked.
I have done that, and still no display, do you think the problem from battery or hard bricked?
I plug the mobile for whole day in the charger, and I cannot see on the display the image of battery even, what you suggest, please?
That's not good.. i think you have hard-bricked it.. -> back to samsung service...
If you cant go into download mode by keypressing, you probably hard bricked your phone...the samsung service should be able to bring the phone back to life...just one question, why in hell would you unplug your phone during flashing proces? ?

Best rom??
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1478503
I installed ROM manager on my 2.3.6 gingerbread rooted SGM and clicked back up ROM. The device went totally dead and it wont show ANY signs of life whatsoever. So pressing any of the buttons combo wont work. The phone seems to be dead for real. I did manage to make Odin detect it even if the device seems to have no power and looks like its turned off. But it will not let Odin establish connection to it to flash a new OS on it.
Is there anything I can do? Have anyone solved this brick by now since is see a lot of people having this issue?
Can you pull the battery.
Sent from my MB855 using xda premium
Like how? I have pulled the battery out and put it back in with no result. Or did you mean to pull it out in a certain manner?
Ok, Does the battery charge when plugged in? Do you have another battery?
Sent from my MB855 using xda premium
No,the phone is totally dead. Like as if it would have no battery in. None of the button combos won't work on it. But if i press the emergency download mode button the Odin detects the device even if it seems dead,so the phone is alive i guess. But when i start Odin it starts the tread but get stuck on connecting.
All I know is basic trouble shooting,
I know Moto won't flash with out a good charged battery. Is there a forum for your phone here. Or try googling oden for info. Sorry i can't help more.
Good Luck

As far as I have read so far my motherboard needs to be replaced. Tis is a ultra hard brick. People that got their galaxy mini bricked by ROM manager had to visit service center.. Hope they can't find out what happened. Thx for the replies!
Good reason to not use rom manager

My phone is so hard bricked they couldn't fix it at customer service, they said they had to send it to another service, because it has a complex error. I keep my fingers crossed they can't find out what happened.
Got the phone back after 4 days, motherboard replaced, free of charge.
brick?
Hello.
i,ve installed rom manager and tried to make an backup of my rom.
my phone turned black and now its useless
anyone knows how to fix this ( galaxy mini gt s 5570 gbread 2.35 rooted)
i've tried to use odin but got no idea how to use it
anyone can help me?!!?
(phone has still 1 from the 2 years of warranty is this still valid or is it gone because of the root?)
It's hard bricked, you can do nothing, it's no use. Get it to service center saying that you dropped it and it wont turn on. dont say that you rooted your device. I've had this hardbrick too.
took it to the service center now waiting for them to fix it they said it could take several weeks.......

Hi,
I think your phone is bricked.
If it can show anything on the screen. Try also recovery and download mode. Your phone is soft bricked. There are lots of guides on the internet to unbrick your device.
If nothing is happening using any key combination your phone is dead.
thank you
thank you. but there is no key that helping. its not torn on... how i know what part i need to change?

Try to put your phone into the download mode (google for it). If it is possible to put your phone into the download mode, you can flash the stock ROM for your device again using Odin. Just look at google for some guides to do this.
If you nothing is working and you are sure the battery is charged. There is nothing you can do about is...
Hope this is helpful.
hey all,
i was trying to root my note 2. ive done this once before but this time something went wrong. everytime i tried rooting it( through odin), it showed pass but whenever i tried to open super su, it said super su couldn't find binary *something* and its unable to create one. and a notification kept popping up saying that an unauthorized access to some secure files or areas has been blocked. so i tried rooting again and again but nothing happened. then my friend told me to factory reset my phone. i did as told. but now my phone is stuck at the samsung logo. i thought it may start later but i left it there for 2 hours and still the screen shows the samsung logo and the blue notification led light
please help me. also my custom binary download counter has reached to 13
so please please please help me ASAP. I cant afford to buy a new phone at this moment. also i know this is just a software problme so i dont wanna waste my money by giving my phone to the service center. So please you guys help me. :'(

Here's an unbrick tutorial: http://galaxynote2root.com/galaxy-note-2-tutorials/how-to-unrootunbrick-galaxy-note-2-with-stock-firmware/
Report back on how it went.
i will try that for sure but i forgot to mention one more problem, while i try to access my recovery mode by using home+ volume up + power button, nothing happens. only my screen flickers for some time and then i get back to the samsung galaxy note 2 logo. if i leave the button, my screen( above the home key, back key and options key) vibrates but nothing on display.
I think you only need download mode to unbrick, not recovery

Awesome! Also, you could just hit the thanks button instead of a new post
If you want root you're probably better off flashing TWRP through ODIN and then flashing supersu.zip using TWRP.
