[Q] mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense 1.7ppp on htchd2 APN Problem

I installed andriod on my htc hd2 ... but I cannt set Access Point Names when I click on it in (settings > wireless&networks > mobile networks > Access Point Names ) nothing happen ... please help me

[Q] How to make HTC Tattoo a Wi-Fi Hotspot

Can HTC Tattoo act as a wifi hotspot ? (so that I am able to make my Tattoo an access point and share its internet connection to
other wifi enabled devices). -> Also please tell how to do it. (any setting changes/ any application is required etc.)
P.S: I have roooted the phone am running a custom ROM CyanogenMOD Android 2.2.1 I have already tried the following: 1) Barnacle wifi tether, Android wifi tether - neither of the two worked. 2) I have also seen if there were any default settings, to make my phone a wi-fi hotspot, but found there were none of these settings in my phone (android). 3) I have also tried a new ROM: nFinity Android 2.3.5, but on this ROM also points 1) and 2) stated above were applicable.
Please tell ASAP as I have to work on a project related to this.

Problem with sharing internet over WiFi ?!

Hi all
I have problem with sharing internet over WiFi. A have new ROM KPU. When i have old rom KPQ everything work fine . The problem looks like, when i switch ON sharing internet on i9003 , laptop find the network and connects. But without internet. On i9003 display i see dead icon internet activity.
Where is problem ? Can i back to lower ROM ?

Are all the phone internet based apps working? And YES U CAN USE ANOTHER FW! KPQ for instance without any issues, just flash from pit, or use the four files of the same posted recently! gud luck mate! :thumbup:

Yes all apps based on internet on phone work fine but the Hotspot doas not work very well :-/. Ok i turn back to lover rom.
How to back to rom with working hotspot for me?
Download firmware from samsung firmware and use only Odin to flash?
In zip/rar file i find only 1 file.
Which it's means "pit"?
Where i find another 4 files this ROM about what you write ?

are you trying with some app or with the native mobile ap?

If you want to tether your Phone's Data Connection via USB or WiFi, Here are the steps:
1. Go into settings
2. Wireless and network
3. Tethering
Via USB
4. Click on USB Tethering
Via WiFi
4. Click on Mobile AP
5. Go into Mobile AP Settings
6. Click on Configure Mobile AP
7. Give a name to your WiFi Hotspot you just created
8. Create a password or make a open Hotspot ( Whatever you like )
Your HotSpot is created using your Mobile Data Connection
Now Go into your wifi settings in your PC and connect with the Wifi you just created !

[Q] Issue with 3G/2G on ROM

While i was trying Nebulosity ROM (Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830) , in mobile network and APN configuration i couldn't configure Internet APN (For mobile data-internet) .
I saved the APN correctly with correct information and when i try to "click" it in order to use that APN, it switchs me to other APN Automatically. Maybe ROM error? Cyanogenmod error? All answers are appropiate !:crying::crying:

Im not good with these new post-pc devices and Im not good at spending money on them.
so i bought a Prestigio MultiPhone 5500 DUO!
now the problem is that from its three keys under the screen two of them is not working(home and the other one with two windows on it).
and on its apn setting menu there is no Plus sign or anything else to be able to add an APN so i cant use its sim cards (it is a dual sim) to connect to internet.
i just need it for its internet and hotspot feature.
i tried rooting >> FAILED
tried those KEY apps >> FAILED
tried third party APN setting apps >> FAILED
the last thing i wanna try is to put it under my car and drive!!! >> this would not fail!!
any help would be appreciated!
