I just got an I-mate JAM with following info:
ROM version: 1010.00 WWE
ROM date: 08/18/05
Radio ver: 1013.00
Protocol: 1337.43
ExtROM ver: 1.12.550 WWE
RAM: 64MB
Flash: 64MB
Model No: PM10A
Platform: PocketPC
which ROM that i should use now?
and can I do it without USB cable? (copy ROM to MMC and install)
I'm living in Vietnam and use English

Your ROM version is fine, however you may wish to upgrade to the latest 1.13 ROM + 1.13 Radio + BigStorage (by the way, BigStorage is just a way in which you can extend your measly 7MB of Storage to 27MB). However you will need a USB cable for the above method: I highly recommend to invest in one anyway, as you will find installing many programs onto your JAM difficult without one.
I think it is possible to upgrade with just a SD/MMC card and a SD/MMC reader for your computer, however it is considerably more complicated and you will not be able to back up your existing ROM, as you will need your computer to command your JAM during the backup process. You will probably need to merge two upgrading methods in order to get a USB cable-free process, something that no one else has done. Sorry I don't quite have the time for that yet, but maybe someone else can come to your aid!
Is there a technical reason you can't use a USB cable by the way?
EDIT: I forgot this: the reason why you cannot upgrade by just dumping a ROM onto the SD card and letting the JAM upgrade from that is that the ROM must be modified with some special, device unique data from your JAM first before your JAM will accept it. The normal ROM upgrade programs do this via USB by retrieving the device data from your JAM and then applying it to the ROM they are about to send to it. While there is a way to manually get this required data, that too requires a USB cable (see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=231410).

hi there, i tried upgrading my 02 xda executive from the software update on O2 website.my active sync 4.1 stopped working in midst and my xda is nt working now.and my pc isnt recognising the xda. the xda isnt starting up its completely dead.I tried hitting the 2 softkeys and the soft reset button and the screen lights up and it says to rollback to factory setting hit 0 zero, but nothing happens................plz help would be appreciated.http://www.my-xda.com/xdaExecSoftware.jsp
also the screen now has USB and v1.00 over it and shows nothing but this and not starting up and my pc pops a message up saying that an unknown usb device and cant be connected

Please avoid cross-posting, especially since this is the wrong forum. I can't help you anyway - different models of PDA can have very different ways of doing things.

For information:
I used a 4Go Sandisk SDHC class2 FAT32 formated with my HTC desire.
I used goldcard tool to find the Reversed CID and patch.
I explored and extracted the .exe update downloaded with win rar and copy all (do not know if it was needed) on the SD and rename the RUU_SIGNED.nbh to SPARIMG.nbh.
I build my Own Y cable with two Femalle USB (one for the card reader and the other to link the phone) and one Male for the power.
I boot in host usb and the update began...

Successfully unbranded my Trophy (Network A1 Austria)---->WWE Europe (RUU_Spark_HTC_Europe_1.10.401.04_Spark_5.52.09_REL EASE).
I made the cable myself (it isn't difficult at all) , CID and Gold card using Android build on my HD2, but flashing from Windows 6.5.5 with my HD2 connected as Disk Drive.
Now works my phone really smooth and quick.

Also success from A1 to WWE Europe. I used Kingston 2GB microSD card, HTC Wings (WinMo 6.1) and PSAS to get CID, Goldcardtool to make a goldcard, and regular cardreader + Y-cable to flash.

another way to unbrand?
Is there any other/more easy way to unbrand the tropghy. I don´t like to use a gold card, it´s to complicated for me.

do you know version of your original SPL... I'm fighting with my trophy for 2 days.
First it shows NOT ALLOW - SERIAL, or LOADING - NO FIRMWARE

if it doesn't go to USB then it could be your phone with goldcard which isn't in USB mode or the cable doesn't work.
when saying no firmware it could be because you forget to rename the rom (forgot it myself too a week ago.)

it wasn't rename... will try again with HTC Wildfire today instead of cardreader... hope will be free tomorow

[Q] I need Firmware or os image for my Inavi Pro korean Gps Device

I have Korean Gps Navigation System Device name INAVI PRO
I was use program in it by miopocket 4 and i was format Rom or Wince , so when i turn it on it said cannot find Os , but when i press power bottom and press the center bottom it said load image file from cf and then it said invaded cf Card but when i remove cf card and put usb in and connect it to my pc it show Waiting from USB
AND In my pc it show device name USB DEVICE but windows cannot find driver for it but the device have USB/VID_6666&PID_6666 I THINK my gps need a firmware because i think i formated the wince

Did the GPS not come with software for the computer? If not you can likely go to the official website, look up your GPS model, and download the software which would include the drivers.

NO , I have the device website but that web site in Korean language Also i used google translation but the site still in korean language , i need some one explain to me how i flash wince 4.2 or wince 5 to my device , my gps processor is INTEL(R)PXA255 AND RAM 32 AND ROM 32 AND IN MY GPS SCREEN there a number like this 162.09.09.02B so i think i must put some files in The CF card then i think the device will take the files , so can you tell me what the files i need ??

I have a newly purchased Archos 70 IT (250G) version, as I want to use it as a photo bank to store my photos in my Canon 40D, I read a lots of threads on XDA and finally found out the most workable way to copy my photo to Archos 70H is downgrade my O/S to 2.0.54 from 2.3.81. And Connecting my device with a Nokia CA157 cable (USB OTG cable) to another USB cable to my Canon 40D. Then I can read and write on the CF card (32GB Extreme Pro) without any problem.
However, the performance of 2.0.54 is too bad... I want to install Urukdroid 1.6 in my Archos 70H, but Urukdroid 1.6 is developed based on 2.3.xx which would not allow me to connect my Canon 40D to copy photos.
My question is, if I install Urukdoid 1.6 in my Archos 70H, can I boot it into original stock O/S 2.0.54?
Any Urukdoid 1.6 roots user can help me answer this question? Just simply boot your Archos in Android in boot menu, thanks!!!!

need solution for my tablet please

this is my device
i cannot connect it to the livesute program
it gave me fail driver for the program and my device
so i flash it by phonex card program
but no Roms success with me
it all fail error with screen size and touche and function
any help can you do it for me
the original Rom was missed
tablet name promedia super slim model: digitab
this is the error when i use program livesute with my computer
and this is the roms i before trying it
i install all drivers i found for it but no way the same problem still show
so I cannot Change the computer
and i try this methods
(change usb port , or data cable . remove older drivers and install new one. and i do not use usb hub or extension )
