[Q] stuck between roms - please help - HTC Sensation

Hi All,
I got myself stuck between ROMs
I am based in Dubai and have a middle east sensation.
when 1.35 version was rolled out in Europe I downloaded and flashed using
RUU_Pyramid_HTC_Europe_1.35.401.1_Radio_10.43a.9007.00U_10.51.9007.27_M3_release_198179_signed
It worked perfectly fine since then. Now I want to move to 1.45. However I can not get it.
OTA does not show anything.
I tried update.zip with both european and middle east files.
RUU_Pyramid_HTC_Europe_1.45.401.2_Radio_10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01_M_release_208857_signed
also does not work.
I tried rolling back to
1.34.415.1 (what my phone is supposed to be now officially).
Using
RUU_Pyramid_HTC_ARA_1.34.415.1_Radio_10.43a.9007.00U_10.51.9007.27_M3_release_197242_signed
also does not work.
what can I do now? i can not go forward or back
Please help me how to go about this.
Thank you very much.

anyone?
thank you very much.

[Q] lost my 3G, i only have EDGE network

I live in Canada and my provider is Rogers.
I have play with custom rom, but was tire of them, so i decide to put back my nexus s on stock rom.
I have push the file that i found here version 2.3.3 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1063664
Then i let the auto update do the reste. every thing was ok accept that now i cant connect to the 3 G network, i only have edge connection.
I have try to push version 2.3.4 and i got same results.
i have also try Alot of reset to factory default.
here is my phone infos
android ver. 2.3.4
baseband version NO DGSXXKD1
Kernel 2.6.35.7-ge382d80 [email protected] #1
build number GRJ22
Thanks to anyone that can help me.
Marc
Last week i had same problem, i almost got crazy, but after all, the problem was in my provider.
Have you tried another sim card?
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
That is odd...
I am also with Rogers and I got my phone bricked when I first tried to root it because some guy posted a wack file which bricked almost everyone's phone..
Anyways to the point... I also got the same stock image from the link you posted but for the 2.3.4 update I got it from searching on google somewhere. (Think it was one of those "How to manually update Nexus S to 2.3.4" pages).
I just checked my phone info and it displays all the same info as yours... I am pretty sure I had 3G even before pushing the 2.3.4.... Try locking the boot loader and re unlock and give it another shot. If nothing works, just lock the boot loader after you install the 2.3.4 update and take it back to rogers and ask them to send it in for a fix.
hi guys... thanks for trying to help me...
I was going to return my phone when i found this thread about radio
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1116884
i have try KB3, KD1 and finaly the working one, UCKD1.
my phone is up and runnig as it was....
Now i think iam going to try other radio (ope i wont kill my phone....lol)
Thanks again.....

CM9 can't get past welcome screen

Hello,
I appreciate everyone here is from quite a technical background. I'm quite a noob with these things but hopefully this isn't a massive issue.
I have a HTC sensation (I'm in the uk) and I have been using cm7 for many months. I've just decided to download cm9 and install and everything was going smoothly until I get to the welcome screen.
I try to change English (USA) to English (uk) but this freezes the phone and makes it reboot. I go through this motion over and over again. Any ideas please?
When I updated to cm9, I assumed my phone was already s-off (to be honest I still don't know what this means but thought I did it when I installed cm7) so all I did this time was download cm9 and gapps to the root folder of the SD card. Then I opened rom manager, flashed clockwork recovery and went into recovery mode. I then wiped the data on the phone, wiped the cache, installed cm9 and then gapps and now I'm here!
Any ideas anyone? Many thanks in advance.

Hi,
Once you are s-off,you do not lose it,unless you manually switch it on in fastboot.
Did you update your firmware before installing the new ROM?

Hi, many thanks for your reply. No I didn't update the firmware, I don't think it states this in the update instructions on the CM website - I assume I was supposed to update firmware?
What should I do now, considering the phone is in this silly loop (welcome screen to off to welcome etc...)

The post above mine links to the best guide to get CM9 booting.
But in the mean time if you don't have the time to figure all that out (it's not hard, but it can take a little while your first time because you'll be extra careful and read all the instructions 100 times before each step) you can revert back to a Gingerbread ROM. I assume that's where you started, so if you have the Gingerbread firmware you can boo any Gingerbread ROM. That will only take about 5 minutes. So if you're in a rush to get a working phone right now just do that and it'll boot right up.
haha yes i read the instructions several times, although it's quite clear, to a newbie it's still very complicated! managed to get through it though and in hindsight that thread is pure awesomeness.
managed to get cm9 working now so will spend some time messing around with it.
thank you for all of your help.
ps. yes i began using gingerbread (stock) but i didn't have a ROM to hand and I wasn't sure if I can just download and install any rom (stock or not) willy nilly without having to do several different things to my phone so i just tried to get cm9 sorted. hopefully won't have to update rom now for some time.
thanks again!!

[Q] Revert 6210 back to stock

Can someone help me to be sure my procedure is correct please....There are many different opinions and procedures on the Forum so I figured I would ask this question directly so I make sure I get it right.
I have a US gt-6210 that I flashed with ODIN to the UK ICS ROM (P6210XXLPL). Everything went well and I have been using it but I decided it is time to reset the tab. I have to unsolved issues with battery life and I want to start getting OS updates again....
A little while ago I tried flashing with the US ICS ROM but ended up in a bootloop so I just flashed back to the UK ROM.
I figure my best bet is to just do a factory reset and load either the factory original ROM or give the US ICS ROM another shot.
1) I want to avoid bricking my tab so what is the best way to reset to factory-I am on the Stock (UK) ICS recovery at this time
2) I don't have the original 3.2 image, is the Cellular South 3.2 (P6210UELA3) image from SamMobile the same or should I just use the Cellular South 4.0.4 ROM (P6210UELPC )
I am fine with using ODIN, I currently have the stock ICS Recovery and I am Rooted.
Thanks for help in advance....

[Q] Going back to stock rom? (Canada 8010)

Hi, I am looing for some help.
I installed the german Jellybean Rom, back when we were all waiting for jellybean to come out for our tablets. Now, I am having some slowness issues, and I notice I have region issues (e.g. samsung store complains ect). I wanted to go back to the stock Canadian rom and update that way. I downloaded one I found, (KIES_HOME_N8010XXUCMA5_N8010XACCMA2_805288_REV00_user_low_ship.tar) but when I use ODIN to flash it, it says "parameter incorrect".
Can anyone help? Thank you!
Guess I found my own answer.... googled a bit, and found someone telling me to delete the "md5" extension. That worked, its flashing now.

[SOLVED] [T-Mobile] HTC ONE S (S4) 3G not connecting

Need some help for my device [T-Mobile] HTC ONE S (S4). I'm using in INDIA.
For the past 3 years i have used this phone in 3G network with out any issues. Last week i flashed a new ROM but after that i don't get 3G signal.
I tried a lot of ROM's and Radios but still it is not working. So i flashed the stock ROM and RADIO but still its not working. I understand the bands the T-Mobile uses differs but it was working fine before flashing a different ROM.
I don't know what to do.
So please if any one using the same do upload your ROM and RADIO and other things that influence the phone to work.
P.S: I posted in various threads and asking for help but i don't get any reply hence started a new thread so everyone like me can find it useful.
Thanks.
EDIT:
I flashed the Official T-Mobile JB RUU and my phone started to reboot after showing up the "preparing Phone Storage" (soft bricked)
Finally solved the issue:
I have flashed the official T-Mobile JB RUU after relocking the bootloader, S-ON, change CID- ********(Stock cid , In my case its T-MOB010).
Now i have a brand new phone working good.

I tried it and still my radio gets error . voice quality gone to worst.
I tried to install a custom rom again without s-off and i succeded but my phone reboots occasionally and my radio disconnects from the network occasionally and do get it back i need to search for network.
Atleast all other things work good.
Im planning to try to flash my kernel with the official stock kernel downloaded from HTC .
Will post if that works.
Thanks again
Best voice quality is in stock rom!
