[Q] Revert 6210 back to stock - Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus

Can someone help me to be sure my procedure is correct please....There are many different opinions and procedures on the Forum so I figured I would ask this question directly so I make sure I get it right.
I have a US gt-6210 that I flashed with ODIN to the UK ICS ROM (P6210XXLPL). Everything went well and I have been using it but I decided it is time to reset the tab. I have to unsolved issues with battery life and I want to start getting OS updates again....
A little while ago I tried flashing with the US ICS ROM but ended up in a bootloop so I just flashed back to the UK ROM.
I figure my best bet is to just do a factory reset and load either the factory original ROM or give the US ICS ROM another shot.
1) I want to avoid bricking my tab so what is the best way to reset to factory-I am on the Stock (UK) ICS recovery at this time
2) I don't have the original 3.2 image, is the Cellular South 3.2 (P6210UELA3) image from SamMobile the same or should I just use the Cellular South 4.0.4 ROM (P6210UELPC )
I am fine with using ODIN, I currently have the stock ICS Recovery and I am Rooted.
Thanks for help in advance....

[Q] SERIOUS HELP freezing

I flashed JB on my gt-n8013, and then i wanted to return back to ICS as Kno doesn't want to run. So i downloaded the GT-N8013 from Sammobile and flashed it in.
But when it's rebooting it's kept hanging on Samsung logo and doesnt want to run. what can i do. Help please
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2080366
try re-flashing.. or re-downloading the file... it might be corrupted
Well you need to boot into recovery and do a comple wipe unfortuantely you will lose all data
I would suggest to you that if you redownload the rom and it still does not work then you should try out a different rom, because it seems like you may have downloaded a rom for a similar tablet and now find yourself running into issues.

I Reflashed again JB UK 4.1.1 and it's working fine, but i can't switch back to ICS GT-N8013. I'm in exams' period and some of my studies on Kno :S and i can't get it working, i contacted them and told me they're still working on a JB version :S
Thanks all
Boot to recovery Factory reset .
Flash stock ICS rom via Odin .
jje
You will loose ALL data on internal card so back up before doing this...

I'm having the exact same problem could you please post a direct link to the package that finally worked, what flags did you check in odin?
What he did was went from JB to JB for 8010 when JB to ICS did not work so he did not get it to work
Unfortunately there is no workaround when you go from JB to ICS you need to do a complete wipe to make it work

I'm sorry , we cannot allow you to return a device and deplete our numbers, but yes , ODIN stock rom resets everything except any personal files you might have stored on the internal storage (photos, porn, etc.)

Sorry to bother you guys again.
Given the chance I ever find a german 4.0.4 rom, could I flash this over my CM10.1 right away or do I have to downgrade to CM9 first?

So to get this right.
I want to flash this firmware from Sammobile
Germany 2012 October 4.0.4 P3110XWBLH3 P3110DBTBLH2
It doesn't matter which firm im on as long as i use odin to flash this as pda? right?
sorry for not getting it straight away.
Just a quick heads up for anyone with the same problem.
I could flash the aforementioned .tar. with odin.
On booting it got stuck in a loop (of course).
I could go to recovery and do a wipe.
After reeboot everything went just fine.

[Q] Has this been tried?

So up until a week ago I was running CM11, but for the past month I was having battery issues so I decided to revert back to stock to test if it was the battery or the ROM. So I flash my phone back to stock and update to 4.4.2 knowing that I still had all the tools still available in case I wanted to flash back to CM11. Now today I wanted to flash back to CM11, but I wanted to make sure the methods were still correct to flash back to CM most concerning the bootloader, and to my dismay I found out that everything changed for the worse. On the bright side I was able to root my phone but unfortunately I flashed CWM recovery so now I can't get into recovery, but I can still access my phone so its not hard bricked to the point I have to JTAG, but my first question is how do I revert back to system recovery, I made a nandroid backup before I flashed the recovery but would that still work? And my second question is are there any ROMS you can install that allow you to run a custom recovery or allow you to flash back to 4.1.2? Either way, I'm glad I decided to double checks facts before proceeding or I would've had a bricked phone.

No custom recovery and no flashing back to 4.1.2. It is safestrap only and 4.4.2 touchwiz ROMs only, of which there is only one right now. Unless you are willing to send your phone to mobile tech videos and pay them $50. They are apparently ale to revert you're phone to 4.1.2.
You should have done a little more reading of all the warnings available in the forums before going back to stock and taking the update to 4.4.2.

Ok, that answers my second question, but is there anyways to reflash the stock recovery for 4.4.2?

There is if you can find one, but I don't think it's posted anywhere. Your best bet is to just Odin flash a stock 4.4.2 rom and start over again.

How to back to stock ICS 4.0.4 from OMNIROM 4.4.4 bigpart?

Hi all,
I am using OMNIROM 4.4.4 bigpart in my old EU Wingray XOOM 32GB but I have lots of performance and stability issues (browser crashes, apps freezing, very slow system....). After reinstalling it I still have problems and I want to check if it's due to the device itself...
To test that, I would like to go back to the stock Android 4.0.4 ICS that I was using in my European xoom before the jump to EOS, CM and OMNI.
Could anybody help me on how to go back to stock? Where to download the stock rom? how to remove bigpart? Is it really required to remove bigpart to install the stock rom?
Thanks for any help given.
The best way to go back to factory image is to go back to Android 3.1 honeycomb , firmware HW169
http://morningbeat.blogspot.ca/2012/02/convert-uk-or-other-motorola-xoom-to.html
once you are back to android 3.1, keep check update. until you get the latest 4.12 or stop at 4.0.4 if you wish.

Thanks a lot for answering.
So... I have to download the original Honeycomb software, "reflash it" and update until I get 4.0.4 or 4.1.2 ...
My doubt is ... do I have to "undo" the "bigpart"? Or will the stock firmware install perfectly in my "bigpart" xoom?
Thanks!
the bigpart issue I am not to sure of
Of course you need to undo BigPart. It's well document in Xoom Android development section of this forum.
You need to flash the non-big-part TWRP (2.8.0 or other), wipe everything, reboot intot TWRP, format Data, wipe everything again, reboot into TWRP again. Then you can flash original image using fastboot.
Just to stick my nose in, (and go slightly off topic) have you tried My Android Jellybean 4.2? before you go back to honeycomb you might want to give it a go, runs very smooth and very few bugs (if any!)

Eh?
I didn't find anything in forum, could somebody help me how can i go back from bigpart to stock partition?
I tried to go back to stock last month and it was a nightmare trying to get it to boot back after the update. My only advise is to leave the thing alone. Or do a wipe in twrp or cwm. BTW, I still can not get my device to boot or enter recovery after my dumb ass tried to get back stock firmware.

I just flashed mine from omni bigpart back to stock 3.1 cause my 1yr old daughter can't keep her hands off my phone...was time consuming researching how to do it. But it works perfectly...I wound up running some script somebody wrote and it pretty much did everything for me... not in front of my PC at the moment but if you are still fighting it PM me and I'll give ya everything you need...

Rooting and Custom ROM Problems

So, I'm sure I'm probably doing something incredibly stupid..
I just got my Note 5 today. I've been trying to flash a custom ROM, TEKXodus first and then Dr Ketan's ROM. I managed to get them to boot up (at least Ketans, I've been trying so long today at this point I'm not sure if I ever got TEKXodus to load).
However, after finally getting in, my SIM card isn't being detected, neither is the baseband and IMEI. The phone registers as a N290I instead of N290T.
Did I flash something wrong? Would the wrong version of recovery cause this? Kernels?
This isn't my first time rooting and flashing ROMs, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong this time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to start from scratch (square one) and odin flash the
official stock Samsung N920T Tmobile Marshmallow 6.0 firmware
before doing anything else.
You can find the N920T Marshmallow 6.0 firmware here:
http://sammobile.com
Good luck,
Have a great day!
The phone came with Marshmallow already installed I believe. Either way I've currently got the stock TMobile installed now and am still having the same problem.

Perhaps your phone came with the wrong version of Marshmallow 6.0 if the phone was not new when you got it.
Either way I bet you still have NOT Odin flashed the full official stock samsung N920T 6.0 Marshmallow firmware
which can be found at http://sammobile.com
If you finally decide to do the above be sure to do a full wipe and factory data reset before you odin flash.
And forget about roms until you get the phone working properly with the stock N920T odin flash firmware.
Will definitely double check and retry that when I get off of work.
And that worked!
Thank you so much, I was working off a different MM build apparently. Probably would never have figured that out by myself.
