Hey,
So I see there is a android battery indicator available for a few other droids (its a goodlookin battery indicator) so I tried to apply it to my device via metamorph
I got it to show except it did not properly indicate my battery %
battery manager showed %60 and the droid was still fully green
can anyone create this for the X? maybe WJD
the link is below and its the last android icon at the bottom
http://droidpirate.com/category/meta...icons/page/11/
definitely willing to donate as well, thank you
try this:

thanks for the link
only thing is the other one looks muuchhhh cleaner
the droid battery indicator actually works great
the shades of green between 100 and 80 are just a slight difference so its hard to tell by first glance
Hi guys!
I have quite a serious question for you )) Please remember, I can not sleep until you give me the right answer.
So, if u take ur Desire S (or I believe any other HTC android phone) and go to Settings -> About Phone -> Battery -> Battery use, then u will be able to see a graph just at the top of the screen (and a title "(xx)h (yy)m (zz)s on battery" over the graph). I guess you all going to cry when you see this menu, because it's only few per cent battery remaining although u unplug the charger just twelve hours before. OK, sorry for flood. My question: there is a tiny blue stripe under the graph. Sometimes it interrupts. What does this stripe indicate?
PS. You know, many people complain to battery drain. And battery seems to drain faster just at the moments indicated by this stripe. Does anybody notice smth like this?

Without checking as phone isn't to hand at the moment, I believe that this is when the Screen is ON, considering that the Screen/Display is always the main user of phone battery, it's no surprise that the graph dips when this bar occurs.
Hope that you can sleep soundly now.
Mmm... ben_pyett, are u completely sure it's Screen_ON indicator? Unfortunately I don't know how to make a screenshot as I'm using stock ROM now, but believe me I saw blue stripe on my Desire S and it lasts for at least 5 hours. Then it interrupts and begins and interrupts again and so on. And I'm completely sure that the screen was not ON all this 5 hours.
PS. Stil not sleeping.
If you tap on the map it enlarges it to full screen with a breakdown of what the blue bar means
Wow!! det66, man, you're magician! How did u find it out?
Thanks anyway. In my case "awake" mode seems to drain the battery.
PS. Go to bad with a great pleasure ))

By luck ..but mostly the screen being on is the main battery killer

That is about as good as it gonna get on stock battery. That is good battery life. If want more don't look at the screen so much or get extended battery.

Hello everyone, it's days that I try, in vain, to activate battery percentage display. In menù settings and in particular in the "status bar" section, I can not find any option to do this.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks in advance.
I read that is coming in the next update most likely. How true? no idea but I'm sure it's coming soon.

Well that's even better. Awesome!
Hopefully this will be like the OnePlus 5 after launch. There was like 2 or 3 updates in the first 10 days or something. Bug fixes and feature add-ins
I'm using the Xposed module GravityBox to get the percentage.
Use accubattery and you will get battery percentage on left side
OP should switch to circle battery icon. Best of both worlds not much space taken up while still actually being useful by showing the percentage in the center of the circle. Probably will never happen.

This works very well! Thanks
You can install this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bhanu.powerbar
It can add batter percentage and also adds a a bar you can then in the phone setting hide the battery icon if you just want the percentage.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of this as it makes the damn number so small you can't read if it's a 6 or an 8 or even a 9 sometimes. The standard 100% with the symbol is needed for certain. They can still add in the percentage in the whatever icon for the ones that like it but the standard number with the % is a must I feel.
I usually have the percentagem with no icon, that's perfect for me. It doesn't had any more space and it was already in Oxygen OS, not sure why they removed it.
Lets see what they do on the next update.
battery percentage is way more important that icon,
also they can easily can add slim icon to save some space.

No, it's horrible.
I hope they will set option circle battery icon with procentage inside circle. Would not take more space and % would be there...
Heh...I didn't even know that you could have the percentage WITHOUT the icon....
Good stuff.
Do you know how to set this double sim status icon?

Any news from OP Staff for the battery % coming soon in an update?
Just setting it up now, feel free to fire any questions at me and i'll do my best to answer !

How many notification icons can the outside screen show at once? Can you customize that screen in any way?

4 notifications at once, basically you get a orange dot next to the time when you get a notification. You then swipe right and the icons appear. You click on an icon and it gives you a small preview of what it is then you can click again and open the phone and it will go directly to that app. Example is an email where it shows the Gmail icon, with a click it will show who its from and the subject then with another click and open of the phone it goes straight to that email.
One small improvement here would be of the outside screen was always on which it is sadly not. There are no customisations unfortunately.
can you answer a phone call with the phone closed? i mean talking?

Yes I wish we could have an always on option. Using it i realized even preview time is short it just suddenly goes off this mini display. Hopefully someone makes an app or samsung enables always on for the outside display.

Agreed, I have had all 4 generations of Pixel and will be hard not to have the always on display. Would have minimal batter impact being so small, too.

Any idea whether Light Manager, Holey or other similar app would be able to force an always-on indicator on the cover screen?

I've not had chance to do as full battery drain check yet but anecdotally it seems ok. Battery stats tell me that the other day i took it off charge at 1am and by 4pm it was down to 40% with about 3 hours screen on time.
