Hey guys I'm rooted and running stock rooted and have been noticing for a week or so now that any app updates that I have downloaded and installed keep re-appearing in the marker after a restart. Any clues as to why this is happening? Anything I can do to troubleshoot this?

Just did installed 6 updates again. Rebooted and 3 of them showed back up... Drag Racing, Google Docs, and TunesRemote. Hmmmm
That is happening on stock phones also. I think it must be a market glitch

I was having the same issue, pissed me off to no end. I finally gave up, disabled syncing for the stock app and downloaded gReader. It's way better than the stock app anyways.

So i rooted with Odin and pushed the kernal and cwd through and the zip file for the sdcard fix. I have root but everytime i reboot my phone i lose all my apps and have to resign back into google, happens with any rom. Anyone know what im doing wrong here thanks.

A similar issue to me happened recently.
For me, I would keep getting notifications that "X application has stopped responding", and an option to force close. These kept stacking on each other, to the point where I could press "force close" and not receive any response from the phone for several minutes. I rebooted my phone, and the same thing kept happening. Eventually I got the "welcome to android" screen. The phone would randomly reset itself at this point.
My solution was to re-install the ROM I had on it, so maybe that would work for you? I ended up taking my phone back to Costco for a replacement, since I figured that my issue probably wasn't a sign of good things to come. You might want to try the same thing.

Hello I tried searching to no avail, I'm in the latest cm7 nightly and its.a bug that I've had since day one (been using it for a few weeks) well.everytime I delete photos from my gallery they all come.back when I reboot my phone. Idk what to do! Its like the gallery doesn't really delete the pictures.

Umm... okay? Delete them in the file manager. Problem solved. Or stop taking pictures that you need to delete.... problem solved....... lol.

It'll do this to me too. I noticed it'll save some pictures on the ext. SD and the int. I just manually delete photos from the DCIM folder or copy them to my computer. So, check where the pictures are going.
Its a hassle having to go into the file manager to.delete a picture I thought I took

Do you leave your phone plugged in all night? My phone will heat up if it's plugged in and I'm doing something on it. Might want to see if an app is running in the background and causing the heat up.
Yah I plug it in over night only chance I get to.charge it. I've checked for.running apps and none show up that would cause it to over heat. It usually is remedied with a reboot.

Gmail is borked. I can open it but it just flickers. I search the forum but I didn't find anything. I reinstalled it, reflashed gapps, rebooted, and fix permissions but it still won't work. I'm able to receive emails but can't open them or anything. Any ideas for a fix?

My entire Google account has been acting strange lately. Sync has been a little messed up and I can't download from the market. No relevant changes have been made since it last seemed fine two days ago. Did you start noticing problems around then too? I'm not on the same rom as you which leads me to believe it's a Google thing. Dunno though...is your market working?

I'm not too sure exactly when it started because I noticed that my Gmail sync was off. Weird , I never turned it off. I checked it on and received emails. I went to view them and noticed the app behaving weird. I didn't do anything our of the ordinary just use the phone. I'm able to download apps so I'm not sure if it's Google. So yes market works.

Glad I never experienced it, but glad it got resolved as well!
Yeah, it got fixed last night. Would have been nice to have gotten some transparency about what was going on from Google though...

I never had any luck with the gmail app I have always just used the stock email app... dame deal though huge delays, unable to receive mail even after manual refreshes, ect... the black background mod that comes with it makes it look good too if your like me and into the minimal look

Yeah I like it pretty dark and simple!
I noticed that it's not Gmail... When I hit the airplane mode to disable all antenna's and re-enable it again, it's fine until I reboot my phone. Then I have to do this again if I want to get my email notifications back. The Gmail apps seems to work fine so far for me... But I will try the dark theme for it!

Hey, guys. I've been having an issue for quite some time where my screen turns completely back and my phone freezes up. The only way to fix this is to do a live battery pull. It happens at least once a day. Not rooted. Running official ICS ROM. Can anyone help? I appreciate it.

you can do a factory reset too see if that helps but you will lose all your apps you have install and your settings, back them up first.
if its still the same looks like warranty repair

Sounds like sleep of death or whatever it's called, tho I didn't have it for ages. I'd agree with the factory reset to see if the issue is resolved.
