Has anyones TB randomly open the news app when it is locked for a extended period of time?
I have... not seen that... Did you do any updates to your phone before it started doing this?
i did the OTA update that is all

Are you rooted? Running stock ROM?
I was having the same issue, pissed me off to no end. I finally gave up, disabled syncing for the stock app and downloaded gReader. It's way better than the stock app anyways.
I am glad I am not the only one. I am running stock

My stock browser force closes instantly. Data works because I can use Firefox and other things no issue. Any ideas why?

I've had this happen a couple times at random times. I can open it back up instantly and it will work normally for the remaining session. It's not a big deal for me since it's only happened about 3 times in the past month.

My tbolt started randomly vibrating at random intervals last night, no notifications present, no new applications. Wiped/reinstalled cm7 and reloaded apps with titanium but it is still doing it. Any ideas?

are you also on CM7? I have had this happen twice, and reboots fixed it both times. I am on CM7 and I noticed that ANY input caused it to vibrate (button or screen)
Mine does this too, it started recently, I thought I was loosing my mind.

That is correct, unrooted, stock rom.
That may change in the future though, especially with jcase's information.
Hey guys I'm rooted and running stock rooted and have been noticing for a week or so now that any app updates that I have downloaded and installed keep re-appearing in the marker after a restart. Any clues as to why this is happening? Anything I can do to troubleshoot this?

Just did installed 6 updates again. Rebooted and 3 of them showed back up... Drag Racing, Google Docs, and TunesRemote. Hmmmm

I dl'ed this from Kies. Only difference that I noticed is the fact that it doesn't memory leak on me anymore, making it actually usable for more than 5 hours like when it first came out. And still crappy battery performance just like last update. Can't believe I went from 60+ hrs on EDGE with original baseband to 20 with last update and this one.

So I've been lurking the TMo forums...finding out that the KJ2 update fixed some problems, to have others creep up. People are getting FC's on Facebook, Gallery issues and again they have to reboot/take the battery out. Sounds as if this was just pushed to buy them time.
Samsung said 100% if the device is under a year it should get update's which it's doing we still have 2 more month's till they discontinue update's .

A year? I've heard 18 months until they consider a device "dead". Hmm...
Try Quickpic. Google's stock Gallery is crapware... Love the useless gyroscope motion effect that eats my battery. No reason to power up that component to look at pictures.
I also recommend using the browser for Facebook.. That Facebook app spends all day and night phoning home.. and eating your battery.

I've been really happy with my Nexus 5 since buying it in February, but I've always been jealous of those notifications iPhone users get on their lockscreen... So I decided to look at many different lockscreen apps. However, and I've found this issue multiple times with Widgetlocker, SlideLock, etc. After installing, the apps work like normal; my stock lock screen is disabled and the other shows up in its place. But after a while, seemingly random, the lockscreen app fails to show the screen, and I often have to flip it on and off or even reinstall it to get it to show up again... Has anyone else had this problem and possibly knows of a solution? I'm running a rooted factory ROM. Thanks in advance!

Just get a ROM with lock screen notifications. There's a bunch with the feature.

Hmm...I was really hoping for more of a solution to the problem than a way to avoid it, but if that's what I have to do I guess I'll do it.

Well, seems like app issues. No one here can really help with that. You'd need to go to app website or email the makers.

Try this if you don't want a custom ROM. Rather than "replacing" the default lockscreen with an app it overlays on top. You'll also need to install this first but do not add it as a Lockscreen Widget since NiLS Floating Panel overlays over the lockscreen without needing the Widget.
