I've one GW550 and I'm also having a lot of troubles with it.
I'm trying to get a new ROM, since it has a lot of problems.
BTW, I've installed Fring without problems and WiFi is working without issues.
Just write me if you need anything, I've added instant email notification to this post.

i am about to buy the cell with a movistar contract but it is
important that fring or nimbuzz are working without problems
on that cell phone!!
so from your experience with that cell phone fring is working

Hey guys, I have my Optimus V and haven't used it in ages. Figured that instead of buying an mp3/video player I would just turn this old phone into one. Question is what can I remove for phone files to get maximum battery out of my phone since I wont be using it for a phone at all.

Hey! I'm an Optimus One user, so I'm not too sure about the availability of ROMS for your phone. I would suggest you find the most battery efficient CM7/Gingerbread rom for your Optimus V (I've always had excellent battery life on gingerbread). I would also recommend that you don't flash Gapps - it has a lot of things which run in the background. Finally, I would leave airplane mode on, and just turn wifi on/off as needed. You should be guaranteed good battery life

My dearly beloved 2 year old P1000 developed a fault when I upgraded through Kies to Gingerbread. The WiFi began to drop out all the time. This is not related to my router btw.
I further upgraded to 2.3.6 using Overcome 7 series v4.1.0 and am generally satisfied, but the Wifi problem remains unresolved.
I don't really know, but surmise that a reversal to Froyo would restore my Tab to normal behaviour. Am I wrong??
Any advice would be gratefully received, and if the consensus is to revert to Froyo - how would I do that?
I am really frustrated by this fault and hope that someone might find a solution.

Sadly it seems that no one can solve my problem, nor even summon up the energy to tell me to go away with it.
I genuinely thought that since the "Overcome" upgrade came from this site that someone would try to help me out.
I am obviously mistaken. Grateful for the aid given to me during the upgrade, but sad and disappointed that there is no further help to be had.

Hello everyone!
Once again I find myself asking the geniuses of xda for help! xD
I've got a weird bug with my HTC Sensation XE, when I run wired tether it works great for so long (usually 15 mins or so) then becomes really slow then the network adapter itself in windows disables itself! Its the weirdest thing I've seen to do with my phone for ages! ~
Does anyone know what might be causing this?
I even bought pdanet+ to try and solve it and although that works great on my laptop, that doesn't work on my pc either. It connects to the phone but no internet at all!
I would be very appreciative is anyone has any thoughts on this that they could share?

Hey I have and lg TV..I used to screen mirror my device long ago..but just recently it keeps disconnecting..
Im very annoyed now.. I hope there's a solution for this..
me too. seems to be the wifi module thats causing the problem. mine is still under warranty so i called up to lg and have t replaced. now works as good as new. ^^
