Some people might be interested.
I have 2 Anker batteries and i always carry one in my car and one in my pocket. This case would be nice but i wouldn't pay 50 bucks. Maybe to some of you it may be worth it.

I guess thats where the USB connector is. Its a shame that look is completely ruined because the sensation has its USB on the side instead of the bottom!

But, how about the battery time increased? Worth the price?

we sell this battery at my store.
It hardly holds onto the phone. Would slip off very easily and yes the hump on the side is where the cable and plug are for the phone.

Looks terrible. I'd much prefer to carry a spare a swap when dead (or just stick with tactical charging )

I bought the Powerskin case/battery combo 1 week ago. From full to empty I get 12 hrs with heavy email use, wifi, Bluetooth and GPS always on. Light internet browsing over 4 G. Not bad.
It is ugly... very ugly and for the amount of space it takes, they could have fit twice the juice... that part I don't get. But it's better than carrying multiple batteries around. I do like the fact that it slips on and off quite easily.

I wonder how much a chichitec battery would last you. Many people are reporting moderate to heavy use and the battery lasting all day.
I tried the case out at the store and I just couldn't see myself getting along with it.
How do you tote your phone? Does the case + phone fit in your pocket?

I always use the stock rom and kernel as my baseline for battery life since the custom roms and kernels are all over the place right now. In stock state if I take my phone off the charger at 8am, with moderate to heavy use the powerskin is dead around 4pm at which I'm running on the internal battery which with the same usage lasts til midnight. So, the powerskin literally doubles my battery life from 8 to 16 hours.
And yes it fits in my back pocket fine. But i don't do the skinny jean thing either.

It is bulky.
The silicone case pops off way too easy.
The wire comes out if that corner of the silicone case pops off.
YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT OFF TO PLUG INTO A COMPUTER AS A DISK DRIVE...
and it's ugly as ****. Not worth the battery increase IMO. Just get an external (prefer solar) battery charger.

Has anyone got one of these: http://cgi.ebay.com/Momax-EXPower-B...597600?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item1e60f39f20
It looks pretty sweet, be interested to see how it performs.
Wow.. Looks nice.. But I'll wait for buyer reviews before buying it.
I'm really interested too. Please test it.

What's the battery life like?

i only got it yesterday, so it will have to go through a few charge/discharge cycle before i can comment.
brief info on the amount of power in the battery with it's first charge.
when i got the battery, it had about 76% power in it, it took about an hour to full charge.
i had the phone on till now with wifi turned on, apart from about 4hours without wifi connected (wifi is still on at all time on the phone), its roughly about 28 hrs now and i still have 64% power left in my phone.
while wifi is on, it auto checks for email every 15minutes and with the little internet browsing.
update: 38hrs with 16% power left. (moderate use of internet browsing)
update approximate 40 hrs with 4% power left, before i charged the phone.
that sounds good. I've ordered one myself and was send today.
this is one good extended battery worth checking out
the extended battery cover + stand makes a really nice appear, specially because it's shiny
I found it on ebay

It is the same size as your existing battery but it's 1900mAh
i havent seen those before, looking at the name seems like a brand from china.
i dont trust them.
Well, I gotta say these 1900mAh batteries caught my eye, and I decided to take a chance at buying one of them. For barely 7€ it ain't that much of a risk anyways. I'll keep you guys updated whenever I get it (max 30 days according to the vendor).
I'm still interested in the Momax one tho, the back plate is the only extended one that hasn't made my eyes bleed so far and 2700mAh must be sweet.
Any complete review ? =)
There you go. A few shots of the Momax 2700mAh battery w/ kickstand.

Can you measure approximate dimension of the back plate?
How thick is that?
Thanks in advance.

the thinnest part is 7mm, thickest part is 10mm, just the battery cover, not including the i9000 unit.

Yeah it does but on my testing there is no problems taking pictures at night which sometimes you do with cases the snug the camera too much so yeah
great concept although i would've much prefer that they somehow fix that hump so it doesn't make the phone look so thick. i'd be okay with an extra 500 - 1000mah in power to make the profile as slim as possible. great idea but execution could be better, especially for the asking price.
Btw guys until June 5th you can use this promo code to get $10 off

Great find, that is an even better coupon than the one I had. So far I have mixed feelings towards this case. Here are my thoughts:
Pros:
The case gives it a heaftier feel overall, more like the phones I am used to.
The bump on the side actually makes it easier to hold.
More protection against drops.
Obviously longer up time on the phone.
Both can charge at the same time.
The case feels nice to the touch.
Cons:
The phone doesn't slide into my pocket anymore and is a lint magnet.
I have to get a new arm band phone holder for bike riding, it is hard to fit in and the rubber really makes it tough.
I'm not super impressed with the battery life, I get a whole day now with heavy usage, but I was thinking it would at least give me two days of up time, not sure why they couldn't have at least the same MA as the main battery.
Overall I'm pleased with the purchase, this will definitely help me out when travelling. But it does take a nice slim phone and really makes it a big bulky phone. I may not use it all the time, but it will be good to carry around as a back up. It should work better for me in the winter when I carry it in a jacket pocket as opposed to pants/shorts.
Search Amazon for PowerGen portable charges. For less than $50 you can get two of the 2900mAh version, which fit nicely in your pocket, and only need to be attached to the phone when your battery is low, instead of always. This phone is to sexy for that PowerSkin monstrosity.

So probably will be far from even 4000mAh:

Not bad when you need it in pinch. I've used these cases before.
Never understood why the people who make these batteries do not like protecting the front face of the phone. Only one that does it is molphie
I got it today, it says 4800mAh on the back...
Mine came without any retail box...
I will test it now.
That pretty much alters the protective mechanism of the device against drops. Not only does it not protect the device, I would say its a pro-damage case too. It seems to increase the likelihood that you will damage it.

I am really interested to see how it tests out for you. I saw some on Amazon and was thinking of purchasing one. I use my Note 4 from 7am to 11pm, almost none stop. The battery does last me all day sometimes but having that extra juice would be nice. Can't wait to hear how it goes.
Any update on the power case?
Sorry for the delay.
The battery charger charges from 0 to full charge in about 3-4Hours...
It charges slowly, but it works.

Nice. I was looking at this case for while. I wanted a extended battery case that wasn't so big and this fits the bill.
Why turn your N4 into a heavy brick when you can just carry a spare battery?

Same question can be asked, why carry around two items in my pocket? Rather carry one. Mostly for laziness, just hit the switch and phone is charging. Besides, this isn't that bad compared to the ZeroLemon case., now that is huge.
I don't understand this attraction of humongous batteries. We live in the modern age, where industrial design and manufacturing elegance has come a long way. To take these very elegant and slim phones and duct tape gynormous batteries to the back seems counter intuitive to me.
How hard is it to charge your phone every day? I am sure keeping a car charger for the charge on the way back home isn't a huge inconvenience. Or keeping a qi pad at your desk at work and just tossing your phone on it when you get to work.
All you big battery guys are going to look like this

[Q] What you own and what you want.

I'm curious..
Simply, what accessories do you currently own, and which specific accessories do you desire?
I personally only own an aluminum placement battery cover.
I would like an extended battery case for that extra juice on my weekly snowboarding trips!
Zerolemon 10000mah
I just got zerolemon 10000mah for my Note 4. That i believe you should get for yourself. I also own a spigen case also.

How bulky is the zerlomeon case, and how long does it take to charge to 100% from dead?
Honestly it's not as bulky as I anticipated. The video tutorials call it a brick but u feel their is a slight chunk added to the original weight of the phone. Now if you compare that with the benefit you are getting I believe it's a small price to pay for. I have done a single charge till now of around 10+ hours which I was supposed to do it till 12. But the current status of my phone battery right now is that I have used it for 24 hours and it has just dropped till 64%. It's going pretty smooth I believe. Give it a shot.
It's pretty damn big and heavy, but I can use it fine on a daily basis. I recently took it off and put back the regular battery and back. Wow, it's so light and thin.
The battery thickness is actually about as thick as the phone if not a little thicker. So you'd be walking around with 2 Notes in your pocket size-wise.
The battery is hard to gauge though. I'd suggest getting GSAM or something that can monitor your battery voltage. It screws with the phone. I think my fast charger once said it was done but i checked the voltage and it wasn't done yet, so I plugged it back in another charger just to be safe.
I once compared my Z3C and Note 4 with the zerolemon in GSAM and they had the same voltage but I think the Z3C said 73% and the Note said 50 something. I don't remember, but I do remember I felt something was wrong with what I saw
I almost forgot about the buttons. They are so sensitive. I've accidentally locked the phone when viewing landscape so many times.
Edit to add picture if I can figure out how.
Note 4 inside the case, you can see the tabs to push the volume buttons actually sit higher than the phone.

Zerolemon Edge + 3500Mah battery Case Review

Disclaimer:
I received this unit for free to test and review.
A little about myself my preferences and my usage:
I have never used a battery case before, I am one of those people that generally like minimal protection and before receiving this product I used a clear TPU case with this phone. I was definitely concerned about the looks and bulk that would be added. I will say this, a case is needed for this phone, and the TPU one I was using provided a lot of needed grip.
Generally the Edge+ without and extended battery makes it through most my weekdays but every once while a quick 30 min charge is needed. On weekends I can definitely burn through the battery and battery life is always in the back of my head. If I plan on going out I need to be sure to put my phone on the charger before doing so.
The Edge+ for me gives me an average of about 3 to 3.5 hours of screen on time and sometimes I make it to 4 (rear).
Installation:
Installation was pretty strait forward and identical to the regular S6 Edge installation the details of which can be found here..
Pros:
The case is very nice looking (pictures don’t server it justice) and well balanced. With the added bulk I was expecting something both gaudy looking and heavily balanced to the bottom. I was wrong on both accounts!
Quick charging still works.. When plugging your phone in quick charging (fast charging as Samsung calls it) still works… Your phone will be the first to receive juice and once it is completed charging the battery will begin charging, although the ZeroLemon battery does not use quick charging.
The case ports the speaker from the bottom to the front of the phone. This is a very nice feature IHMO as I no longer block the sound on accident with my finger while holding the phone in landscape mode.
Extra battery life.. lol we all know why you are even looking at this case, it’s because you want to extend your battery life. This case essentially doubles your battery. So for me I went from 3 to 3.5 hours of screen on time to 6 to 7 hours of screen on time.
In hand feel. The in hand feel is really nice after this case in installed although somewhat heavy. The curves really improve the overall feel in the hand.
Somewhat in the middle:
Protection. This case does a decent job of protecting your phone but it’s defiantly no otter box. I feel like it could make it through a drop or two but that’s about it.
Weight and bulk. This phone definitely gains some weight sand bulk when this battery / case in on it. If you are someone who has ever used a battery case this is expected.
Cons:
Audio jack. This is one of the biggest disadvantages. In order for your headphone to reach the 3.5 mm headphone jack a dongle was provided. I personally hate dongles as I know soon or later they will be lost. I wish a different solution was provided to this issue.
USB power jack on the side. When plugging your phone in for the night, the USB jack is now on the side of the phone. If for some reason you need to pick up the phone and use it while charging, this is a very inconvenient location as you have to move your hand around the cable and jack.
Verdict:
Should you buy this extended battery / case? If you don’t mind dealing with the headphone dongle and don’t use your phone while it is changing it (which will most definitely be less often with this product). Then yes you most definitely should. It’s a great feeling product that does what it promises and also happens to be relatively inexpensive.
