I'm curious..
Simply, what accessories do you currently own, and which specific accessories do you desire?
I personally only own an aluminum placement battery cover.
I would like an extended battery case for that extra juice on my weekly snowboarding trips!
Zerolemon 10000mah
I just got zerolemon 10000mah for my Note 4. That i believe you should get for yourself. I also own a spigen case also.

How bulky is the zerlomeon case, and how long does it take to charge to 100% from dead?
Honestly it's not as bulky as I anticipated. The video tutorials call it a brick but u feel their is a slight chunk added to the original weight of the phone. Now if you compare that with the benefit you are getting I believe it's a small price to pay for. I have done a single charge till now of around 10+ hours which I was supposed to do it till 12. But the current status of my phone battery right now is that I have used it for 24 hours and it has just dropped till 64%. It's going pretty smooth I believe. Give it a shot.
It's pretty damn big and heavy, but I can use it fine on a daily basis. I recently took it off and put back the regular battery and back. Wow, it's so light and thin.
The battery thickness is actually about as thick as the phone if not a little thicker. So you'd be walking around with 2 Notes in your pocket size-wise.
The battery is hard to gauge though. I'd suggest getting GSAM or something that can monitor your battery voltage. It screws with the phone. I think my fast charger once said it was done but i checked the voltage and it wasn't done yet, so I plugged it back in another charger just to be safe.
I once compared my Z3C and Note 4 with the zerolemon in GSAM and they had the same voltage but I think the Z3C said 73% and the Note said 50 something. I don't remember, but I do remember I felt something was wrong with what I saw
I almost forgot about the buttons. They are so sensitive. I've accidentally locked the phone when viewing landscape so many times.
Edit to add picture if I can figure out how.
Note 4 inside the case, you can see the tabs to push the volume buttons actually sit higher than the phone.

What am I supposed to do from here?
Take a look at the Zero lemon thread here before you decide to purchase. Some issues reported with it not accurately showing the correct battery level, etc. Be sure to check out the Hyperion battery thread too and compare.

Wow.. Looks nice.. But I'll wait for buyer reviews before buying it.

What's the battery life like?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
i only got it yesterday, so it will have to go through a few charge/discharge cycle before i can comment.
brief info on the amount of power in the battery with it's first charge.
when i got the battery, it had about 76% power in it, it took about an hour to full charge.
i had the phone on till now with wifi turned on, apart from about 4hours without wifi connected (wifi is still on at all time on the phone), its roughly about 28 hrs now and i still have 64% power left in my phone.
while wifi is on, it auto checks for email every 15minutes and with the little internet browsing.
update: 38hrs with 16% power left. (moderate use of internet browsing)
update approximate 40 hrs with 4% power left, before i charged the phone.
that sounds good. I've ordered one myself and was send today.
this is one good extended battery worth checking out
the extended battery cover + stand makes a really nice appear, specially because it's shiny
I found it on ebay

It is the same size as your existing battery but it's 1900mAh
i havent seen those before, looking at the name seems like a brand from china.
i dont trust them.
Well, I gotta say these 1900mAh batteries caught my eye, and I decided to take a chance at buying one of them. For barely 7€ it ain't that much of a risk anyways. I'll keep you guys updated whenever I get it (max 30 days according to the vendor).
I'm still interested in the Momax one tho, the back plate is the only extended one that hasn't made my eyes bleed so far and 2700mAh must be sweet.
Any complete review ? =)
There you go. A few shots of the Momax 2700mAh battery w/ kickstand.
Been using it for a month or two, loving it.

Can you measure approximate dimension of the back plate?
How thick is that?
Thanks in advance.

the thinnest part is 7mm, thickest part is 10mm, just the battery cover, not including the i9000 unit.
Does the Momax cover affect the camera, buttons or speaker in any way?

The back says 4200mAh: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4800-mAh-...lePhonesCasesPouches&var=&hash=item3cec204d9d
So probably will be far from even 4000mAh:

Not bad when you need it in pinch. I've used these cases before.
Never understood why the people who make these batteries do not like protecting the front face of the phone. Only one that does it is molphie
I got it today, it says 4800mAh on the back...
Mine came without any retail box...
I will test it now.
That pretty much alters the protective mechanism of the device against drops. Not only does it not protect the device, I would say its a pro-damage case too. It seems to increase the likelihood that you will damage it.

I am really interested to see how it tests out for you. I saw some on Amazon and was thinking of purchasing one. I use my Note 4 from 7am to 11pm, almost none stop. The battery does last me all day sometimes but having that extra juice would be nice. Can't wait to hear how it goes.
Any update on the power case?
Sorry for the delay.
The battery charger charges from 0 to full charge in about 3-4Hours...
It charges slowly, but it works.

Nice. I was looking at this case for while. I wanted a extended battery case that wasn't so big and this fits the bill.
Why turn your N4 into a heavy brick when you can just carry a spare battery?

Same question can be asked, why carry around two items in my pocket? Rather carry one. Mostly for laziness, just hit the switch and phone is charging. Besides, this isn't that bad compared to the ZeroLemon case., now that is huge.
I don't understand this attraction of humongous batteries. We live in the modern age, where industrial design and manufacturing elegance has come a long way. To take these very elegant and slim phones and duct tape gynormous batteries to the back seems counter intuitive to me.
How hard is it to charge your phone every day? I am sure keeping a car charger for the charge on the way back home isn't a huge inconvenience. Or keeping a qi pad at your desk at work and just tossing your phone on it when you get to work.
All you big battery guys are going to look like this
I have a Nexus 5 that has run fantastic until just after the lollipop update. I began to think that somehow this update was responsible for several issues, one of them that the Qi charging had stopped working.
I read through all the threads on Qi charging.
Different chargers
Different USB cables
Different Wall Warts
People who had removed the cover, not getting it back on right.
Pressing to snap the cover contacts back into engagement.
None of it helped, that is until I decided the other night to push down on the whole phone while it was on the charger. I had to press pretty hard, but it would charge.
I noticed, that when I did this, it squeaked in the middle along the edge where the power button is, and there was a small gap between the case and body (not big enough for a finger nail to fit).
First I called Google today to see what they had to say. I got the "It's out of warranty. No idea what's wrong. Call LG".
So since it's not under warranty and they had no clue, I pulled the back cover. I expected a broken clip, bulged battery, something. I couldn't find anything that would press out on the case, and all the clips looked intact. (Pictures in a later post, don't have another phone / camera at the moment.)
I put it back together, made sure the clips were all lined up and snapped home properly. Same gap, same squeak when I squeeze the middle edge below the power button.
If I ONLY squeeze this portion together though, it doesn't seem to fix the Qi charging issue. I have to push down on the whole phone.
Looking for your input. I see Amazon has the back covers in stock. But I don't want to buy one just to find out that it's the battery. (I know, not much help without pictures. I'll get them posted tonight).
Thanks!
-Matt
If it is buldging it is probably the battery. I'd replace that.

I didn't think it was bulging, but I have two of these, and I can feel the thing through the cover on this one.
So... where's the best source for a new battery?

It's a one piece battery/protective case, it's quite nice looking and has a really smooth rubberized touch.
The case fits the phone perfectly and don't actually add too much volume to it, letting it feel good in a daily use.
It charges the phone in a little more than 2 hours, but it's battery lasts around one and a half phone charge.
At the bottom of the case is visible a 4 led set that indicates the battery level.
It has a really nice feature that I loved: When it's being charged while attached to the phone, it charges the phone first and then the case itself... I thought it was really nice that the phone in charged first.
For it's price, at least the sales price, I can recommend it as pretty decent battery case!

Here's a couple more photos of it if you'd like.
I have a question about that.. I actually e-mailed them my question but they never responded back.
With that battery case on, can you still use wireless charging and it work or does it have to be plugged in wired?

It has to be plugged by wire, tried the wireless charge and it won't work.
Nice case!
ORDERED haha thanks!
@ex0dusk3 - if you find a battery case that DOES allow wireless charging, please let us know!!!
it looks cool thanks sharing
Ive ordered the battery case after reading this review. Any lucky guy out there also receives one with flip cover? It actually looks pretty cool.
Does anyone know if the flip version of this has a magnet or something to keep the cover closed?
Full disclosure, I was given this unit to review and give my unbiased opinion of the product. **Lots of pictures incoming**
Okay, lets start. I've used several ZeroLemon battery packs on different phones and this arrived packaged like all of them. The usual instruction cards in a plain white box. I wasn't sure what to expect when I opened the box, but I was glad to see this wasn't some crazy three part case that needed to be put together like the old one I had for an LG phone. If you've ever used a Mophie, you will be familiar with the way this case looks and feels.

I plugged the case in and charged it up, it took about an hour to fully charge and I grabbed my phone and slapped it in the case. This is a one piece case, the top is quite flexible so you start at the bottom with the USB connector and then pull the top up a little and slip the phone in. The phone went in easily enough and you reverse the process to remove it. Pull the top up and push the phone out from the bottom. The case obviously adds some bulk, I mean, it's a 5000mah battery. It has a very nice matte finish so no finger prints is a plus. You'll notice that my edge to edge screen protector which I've not gotten around to getting rid of yet isn't playing very nice with this (or any case).
There is a deep well in the back but it wasn't difficult to reach the finger print scanner and it works fine. I did notice using gestures to pull the notification tab down was normal, raising it was a bit tricky due to the bulk of the case, but after figuring it out, it works fine. There is a small learning curve. The case does have a slight lip at the top and bottom to protect the screen when face down and the sides of the case are higher than the Samsung Rugged Case but do not interfere with the edge at all. I'm not a huge fan of the buttons to be honest. They are pretty flat, they work well enough, but they aren't exactly easy to find. The cutouts are all perfect and it's not terribly difficult getting the S-Pen out. I did not need an adapter to use my 3.5mm headphones.
Battery performance. So I charged the case fully and went to work with my phone at about 40% battery. I turned the case on at 5:40pm and let it do it's thing. Its not a fast charging battery, obviously, but after about 75 minutes I was at 80% charge (Where I pull my phone off the charger). I still had two bars lit up on the back of the case and the third was flashing when I powered it off. (Hold the button down for 3 seconds to turn the case on and off). I need to do more testing, but I'm sure I could charge my phone to full and have a little left over to top off without issue.
Final thoughts. Battery cases are the sort of thing that I usually have for situations when I am traveling or I am going to be out in the field for 12 hours or more. This won't replace my Samsung Rugged Case as my daily driver, but it's certainly going to be useful when I am flying or working long hours so it will always be charged and in my backpack. I'd recommend this case if you like the Mophie, especially, because its about 65 dollars cheaper and does exactly the same thing. Great job on this one ZeroLemon, maybe make the buttons stick out a bit more if you ever do a revision!
