Hey everyone, I downloaded the cracked version of Beautiful Widgets (i know, i know, bad idea) well now i wanna buy it and support the Dev. Problem is, the market says the app is purchased even though it really isn't, how do I clear this? tried wiping cache, history, dalvik cache, fresh rom install and nothing works. Any help?
Uninstall tge cracked one, buy the new one. Problem solved

ok coming from a blackberry to Android I have to say the Facebook app sucks when ever I get a notification ,yes it appear but it doesn't notify me on a comment and when I do open it it opens in the web browser. what's up with this its just stupid, the blackberry app was much better than this it would open the Facebook app when you opened the notification. is there any plan In the pipe line to improve this or even any mods I can use to improve this? sorry for any grammar typed on my phone in under 2 mins LOL.
There are some 3rd party facebook apps. Babbler (paid and Lite) and Bloo. I haven't really tried them so I don't know how good they are.

Which app did you try? I downloaded Babbler Lite after replying and I like it much better than the official app. I haven't decided if it's worth getting the paid version yet though.
yeah im using babble lite its much better than normal Facebook I think I might buy full version just to support the devs who have made such a great app

ok well I did it thru the browser I had to go to the application thru Facebook on the browser (just search babbler on Facebook) and accept it and all then go to the application on your device and accept some more and then it all worked hope this help. they really need to sort this out this is the only big downfall with this app. anyway any problems anyone just pm me
Actually, I didn't have to go through the browser at all. I think the issue is that you have to scroll all the way to the bottom on the screen that seems to be just sitting there. At the bottom you will see the allow button.

yeah you just need to wait till people begin to use android and it will begin to get the updates, i mean look at iphone apps there amazing cause that is THE thing atm, and blackberries also have a good following so the apps for that are normally ok, but as android is getting bigger and better ( imho its alredy the best) the apps will come rolling in like they did for the iphone/ipad

Agreed, I wish there was some way to just port the Iphone FB app over to Android lol
My Chome to Phone is no longer working after root. I searched around and couldnt find an answer to whether it is something with root that messes up the app or what. Is anyone else having this problem. And is there maybe a fix that I couldnt find with the search?
Im on Fresh 3.2 with King #9 Kernel if that makes a difference.
uninstall, clear dalvik, re-install, open and run through setup, then see if it works (if you have not done already). happened to me, had to uninstall and reinstall a few times to get it to work (and somewhere in there tried a different browser which re-initialized the account on the PC side of things, which seemed to have something to do with it).

+1, Had the same problems last weekend, uninstalling and reinstalling fixed it

did you try a different browser, or re-installing the plugin (if using firefox) to get it to redo the google account association?
I have the same problem, tried different chrome and firefox. Reflashed a different rom. Installed, uninstalled on both ends, linked unlinked. Even tried linkpush app. Nothing. Running AuraxTSense right now, happened after I installed Lambros. Wiped Dalvik. When I click the push link it says sent to phone, but nothing pops up. Tried with both a website and a map. Currently running Dolphin HD.
Any ideas, searched everywhere.
A new version of Chrome to Phone was released onto the market place this afternoon so give that a try also!

how i got it working again
i had this problem and was really pissed that it stopped working.
i have 2 google accounts and when i chose to use the other account, the program asked again for permissions, once granted, the links started to come through again!
Ok so like i bought this back in feburary, and i love this phone, i love pure android to the fullest and have gotten 7 of my friends to jump to android, But anyway i recently came into a problem, after trying to upload a album to my PS3(Playstation3) i noticed that i encounter a usb problem, which by recovery i fixed, but now theres some sort of problem with downloading apps, when i download it says theres a "Download" error and the app wasnt downloaded, i cant even update apps, I have already been everywhere to search for this problem on the internet so im signed in on gtalk, gmail and every other google app i just have no other apps, besides the angry birds games.....im thinking somethings wrong with the path the apps go to or something...any ideas would be helpful!

Have you rooted your phone? I can assume that's the case.
But if you have:
Backup all the apps you want with titanium backup (Just for ease)
Go into recovery and wipe all data and cahce.
Either keep the rom you have now or flash a new one.
Check to see if it's fixed.
Restore all of the apps you want to with Titanium backup.
Thank me if it works, or curse my name if it doesn't.

Hi,
I was browsing the market on my pc and noticed bejeweled 2, I had searched for bejeweled on the market app and had not seen this from my tf so I went to the market from my browser on the TF. I found bejeweled 2, but when I tried to click on it my screen darkened. I clicked on buy and it asked which device to install on, the TF (the only choice I have) was grayed out and I got a message saying something about not being available on my carrier.
I am pretty new to this, but I am pretty sure I dont have a carrier on my TF. I have read several threads about this in phone threads, but couldnt find anything about this on the TF.
anyone have any ideas, how I can get full access on the market. I am in the USA, in Missouri.

Its likely that its not compatible with your device. The market wont let you install applications that are indicated as incompatible with your android version.
I was reading something about clearing data and cache for market in a different thread. I have seen this clearing of data and or cache to solve different problems as well. what I haven't found yet is how to clear them.
Is it just deleting the files in the directory's, or is there some other way to do this?
I am going to see if i can find out about the comparability, and see if that is what the problem is. Just weird it mentions carriers.

May have been answered before but searching didn't bring anything up for me. Basically I want to clear the data backed up on my Google account regarding Android (WiFi, Market apps, Settings, etc) so I can start again.
Anyone know how to do it?
OK, managed to find somewhere that if you go into your Privacy settings and uncheck the backup option it says it'll delete everything. Is this correct?

Quick edit: Turning off backup DOES delete settings relating to the phone but NOT the Market. Must be a separate backup which I can't find!
EDIT: OK, sign into your Google Dashboard and you can see what's backed up and when but you CANNOT delete it. Why the hell not?!?!

Maybe the only way is to open a new account?
I seem to remember AOL being the same...
Bloody well hope not! I've emailed Google so we'll see what comes of it but surely if you delete an app it should NOT come back the next time!
On a related note, anyone know why some apps I install are NOT listed under 'My Apps'? I'm guessing it's linked to my account somehow but, again, it's annoying!
Erm depends if they where downloaded from Google it self or if sourced from some where else they won't show up I should know
If u have titanium backup go to
Menu/more/market doctor and it will fix broken links to Google market

Randomly enough, it seems to have worked anyway! It said I may have to 'download any app' to get it up to scratch and, seeing as Superuser needing updating, I did it. It now shows all Market apps in My Apps!
Yh I did it I was playing around and now I have like 20 updates but can't update them.as there ermmmm not from Google

I'm just glad to have it sorted, was doing my nut in! At least now everything is cleared and setup from scratch so hopefully won't have to complain again. Still think Google should have the option
