• Tank Hero
• Gun Bros
See attached screen shots.

• Framework: Clear Data/Force stop
• Reboot
• Search market.
Try this and confirm. Please state the Rom ver.
Thanks in advance
Edit: Sorry for posted in wrong (developmet) forum. Posted in a hurry then take my kid to doctor appointmet.
Edit2: Sorry for false alarm. Not full market fix as confirmed by other posters.
not sure why, but can't get it to work, i've tried step 9 and everything...
Worked for me.
Thanks
+1
Skeptical at first but I did see all the apps show up he mentioned. None of those would show up before either. Very cool.
My market worked right out of the box with Vegan 5.1.1. Those apps you listed above were downloaded to my gTab the day after my ROM install, no hack required. Hmmm....
I am also running VEGAn beta 5.1.1. At first a lot of apps didn't show up in my Market but then after I booted into recovery with ClockworkMod then erased all data, then erased cache, then erased delvik cache, then reflashed VEGAn beta 5.1 and rebooted, then booted into recovery again and flashed the VEGAn 5.1.1 update and rebooted.
After all that all of the apps that didn't show before showed up for me including the elusive Samurai 2: Vengeance. Now all is well an my tab is running better than ever.
Naw... Didn't work for me. Running Adam 1.1.0.
All the apps listed in OP are there and were there in the beginning, can't find CoPilot thou, even with the changes....
Good try, thanks.
Did not work for me and I am using:
[ROM]Tnt G-Harmony-Gingerbread Elements(Updated-1/22)
I wish it would though, thanks for trying.
I was going to try this out but I found all of the apps you posted. I just ran the vegan update supplemental. I don't know if that made a difference though. I don't remember firefox showing up when I made the switch to vegan a few weeks ago. That is the bad thing about getting old, can't remember.
I still can't find dolphin HD on the market. I had to download it from freeware lovers. Themes, walpapers, all sorts of dolphin add ins show up but not the browser.
Did not work for me using vegan as well
This does work on vegan 5.1.1 found dolphin hd, copilot, and everything else i searched for. good info
Google Earth?
I did your fix and I can now see Angry Birds in the Market, which I couldn't see before. I'm running Vegan 5.1.1.
Can anybody here see Google Earth in the Market? It's not showing up for me.
Based on my research the market is doing some decision making server side now. Curious to see how that pans out for these fixes.
Hmm Tank Hero shows up but Super Manager still does not. However, other apps by its publisher do show up.
The only thing not showing up for me on the market from the attached pics is Mulit-picture-live, and I didnt apply this fix.
I used the method posted from the video on another thread.
Running Vegan5.1.1 and having a lot of stuff not show up in Market. IMDB, Flixster Movies, NFS Shift, SIMI clock, Launcher Pro and many other odds and ins. I do see things like Gun Bros., Sims 3, Samurai Vengence, Fruit Ninja and others.
App Brain, as many other sites, push me into the market for downloads and I end up with Not Found messages. I try to go around this and use Market from the web - where I can find absolutely everything. However, when you try to install from web the market forces you to select you device - Vega Tab - is the option that displays in the drop down and it is typically followed by message - device is not compatible with app.
So...any thinking on how to change our identifier from Vegan Tab to Xoom or something that would have full access to the Market? My biggest frustration with ViewSonics tab isn't the hardware or the ROMS, its Google themselves.
This is so bizarre. First of all this didn't work for me on Vegan 5.1.1.
What's really weird is that I wiped and reinstalled Vegan 5.1 and the update to 5.1.1 this morning, did the usual clear data and cache on market and framework and then I did see Angry Birds, and Gun Bros, but I didn't install them.
It's literally only about 6 hours later, and I can't see those now, not having made any changes.

Not to burst any bubbles.... but I turned on my g-tab today, went to the Market, and it asked for me to read the T&Cs and click Accept. I said, 'oh no'. But upon accepting, I am seeing all the stuff you said, and a lot of stuff I didn't before (like Stupid Zombies fer instance). With most things with the Market, I blame/give credit to...google.
I should add... I have tried to add a bunch of apps that I can now see... Firefox, Stupid Zombies, Gmail and Jumpgate Live Wallpaper... and they are all stuck on Starting download. Also had previously added Tegra Zone from the web market, and it hasn't shown up.
And another update... so with things stuck, I did a typical market fix. Well that made all but the Gmail downloads disappear. But Gmail wasn't downloading still. Eventually it did, a re-start or two later. Tegra Zone, which is listed as being downloaded on my account, never showed. And when I try to install now from the web, it says it is incompatible. *sigh*
Worked for me. Needed step nine tho. Still not the full market tho. I still don't see apps I get on my sprint hero.
Z Tab, latest version from these forums. The market works the same as before trying.
I'm running the stock "Woot" ROM (which is probably vanilla 3588 with some pre-installed apps, but I can't be certain) and have installed the Market and done the standard "market fix."
I'm able to browse the market, but the website insists I don't have any device. However, the website *does* show things I've installed as "installed." I believe that may be from when I was fiddling with TnT Lite earlier, but can't be sure.
I noticed in a thread about editing build.prop that doing so may break website updating, but I've never had that in the first place. That means that any time I do a market fix or switch ROM's that the Market doesn't know about any previously-purchased apps. I might try risking $1.98 and purchasing something then seeing what happens if I try purchasing it later.
Like others, I'm frustrated by what doesn't appear in the Market that I think should: Firefox and Google Earth in particular.
I think ive found that clicking on a link to an app will open it even if its not found in the search. there was an app i couldnt find earlier but it was there when i clicked a market link to it. installed just fine
If you want Firefox to show up after the market fix is applied you need to edit the build.prop - discussed a bit in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1017368
It also will show up before the market fix is applied. I am also having web market problems - no luck there so far.
Regarding Google Earth... never been able to see it in the market. I went as far as searching for the APK to sideload and it simply wouldn't work. Not sure why - it just froze when opening. I am guessing there is some sort of incompatibility with the gTablet...
I recently put cm7 on my moms gtab, and I found google earth in the market and it runs just fine
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA App

I never tried to find Google Earth after editing the build.prop. Just did and it was not only in the market but worked great. Maybe CM7 uses a different build.prop by default than vegan 5.1.1. I must have side loaded an old copy before when it didn't work.

Wrong! Paid applications are tied to your Google Account. As long as you log in to your Google account, all your paid apps are available to you in the Market application. However, if you are using a fingerprint in build.prop that Google does not recognize, your paid Google DRM protected apps will not show up; however I believe all ROM's are using a recognized fingerprint (Nexus 1 on TnT-Lite) so we don't have to worry about that.
I have a tf101, with AOKP build 28(1.6) and flashed gapps-ics-031712, and I also downloaded the 4.5.11 music apk, and it worked at first. Then i didnt use my tab for music for quite some time, and when i went to use it again, it said "Couldnt play requested track." I thought perhaps this was only my music that I had stored in the cloud, but it will not play anything I have on my SD card either. I have tried downloading and installing the 4.5.13 apk, both through downloading the apk straight to the tab, as well as using marketenabler to get it straight from market. I've rebooted and wiped cache, and dalvik cache. I am curious; Does anyone know if there is something I have not tried, or if there is some other method to get Google Music onto our beloved transformer?
I had that happened last month.
Look for an app call Dev Tools (might be in the market but i know it's part of CM9 ROM). Run the "media scanner" option. That fixed it for me. If you can't find the app let me know I'll post it for you.
I can't seem to find it in market, or an apk online, so if you've got it that'd be a great help
edit: found what you were talking about, shows up as "developer" tools in market, thanks!
Greetings all,
I've been using the Note 10.1 for a while now with a very good user experience. I recently decided to take a look at the preinstalled (preloaded) Barnes and Noble Nook app to see if I could use the app to read magazines.
One of the things I noticed about the app is that upon initial page view of a magazine, the text is very blurry. If you double tap to zoom in on the page, the text gets bigger (and crisper) and then double tap to zoom out; the text is smaller (original size) but now it's crisp and readable. It's as though there is a redraw/refresh problem with the text (books are fine, magazines are a different story).
In an effort to figure out why this is, I noticed that the app is significantly out of date. The app store has the most current version at 3.2.0.81. The app on my Note 10.1 is 3.1.1.59; yet the Play Store says it's up to date.
I hate to form any opinions on the app if I'm not running the most current version.
Is there a fundamental problem with preloaded apps not upgradable for some reason?
Ideally I'd uninstall the app and re-download the app from the store, but I cannot uninstall preloaded apps.
Other pre-loaded apps seem to detect when an update is available, yet the Nook app doesn't.
Questions:
Is anyone else seeing this behavior, and could you tell me what version your Nook app is running?
Do you see the blurry text initially on the Nook while reading magazines?
Is there a way to remove preloaded apps on a stock, unrooted Note 10.1?
Thanks for your help and time;
Slippery Wing
OK, so after going through several iterations of support with both Barnes and Noble and Samsung, both of which want to point fingers at the other in placing responsibility, I went down the path of fixing the problem myself.
For those interested, I downloaded ES File Explorer on my Samsung Galaxy S2 phone, as well as the latest version of the Nook app. I then used the ES File Explorer to create a back up .apk file of the most current Nook app version.
Uploaded the nook .apk file to dropbox on my phone, then downloaded the same file on my (unrooted) Note 10.1 (which in and of itself is pretty cool).
I then found the .apk and ran that file. The new nook app updated just fine and is now current on the Note 10.1.
Not sure why Google Play wouldn't recognize an outdated version of the app, preventing me from updating, but it's fixed now.
There's a great app for reading books etc called immersionVR reader that isn't ported to the Quest 2 yet, but thanks to the demo apk available on their web site, I can confirm it works perfectly for my uses. The website: https://immersionvr-reader.com/
I purchased the Go version. Now I have not idea how to install it, if it's possible.
I need the apk somehow. I think maybe the easiest way is to run a Go image in an emulator and install the app (thereby letting me extract the apk for installation on my Quest 2).
What do you guys think? Is there an obviously easier way?
