I hav just flash a new rom(Suprarom) and everything is fine accept gmail, market maybe all google app.my phone already s-off,root and supercid.when sign in at gmail or market, its said can't establish connection bla.....bla...it's kernel problem or what.i try full wipe ,wipe cache, done everything but it goes same...before flashing this rom i'll make a backup..when i restore it everything goes normal..please any solutionn...
When people have problems connecting to the market and gmail, the only way to fix that is to delete all the data and cache from the phone to have google resync it back up.
For both apps you'll need to go to the settings-manage applications. Then clear the cache AND the data. Do the same for gmail.
After that, reboot, open up gmail and the market. The market should ask you to agree to the terms and conditions again and once you validate that you should should be golden.
yup i do it all you said.but first start from first flash the rom dont hav a cache or data right.i mean from setting-manage application-market -clear data/clear cache .the button is invisible.
Have you checked your sync settings? If all fails you may need to just do a factory reset. This will erase all your apps and settings. . Sorry!
EDIT: Please read below before performing a factory reset!

I re-read your posts. You stated that at sign-in you cannot establish a connection. Are you getting full bars? Maybe you should skip the sign in process upon flashing a new rom and restore your wifi settings. And afterwards, go and connect via wifi and sign into google/market/gmail. Hope that helps.
My signal is full bar n try a wifi too.can browsing to web .skip from signing @ setup wizard nothing change.

Ok I've searched for a while and couldn't find anything. I couldn't get the SDK workaround to work.
I put the wrong patten in too many times and now it's asking for my gmail username/password. I've put in everything I can think of but it never works. I NEED some of the texts on there and yadda yadda. Is there ANYWAYS to get around this?
Put in your Gmail and type "null" for your password

Do I need to be connected to the internet? My account is under @Yahoo so would I need to sign in with that?
Thanks for the help..
Update: Null doesn't work =/
Ok. I'm offering $20 to the first person who can help me fix this. I'm on Froyo (latest version) on an HTC HD2. I just NEED to get past this unlock issue. Resetting the phone is out of the question
i'll give it a try, maybe $20 will buy me a new scarf.
so you forgot both your pattern AND your google account? or did you not have a google account on there? or what.
I have a gmail account on there and I've tried every possible combination I would use and it doesn't let me on. I'm out of ideas here
Are you putting in the whole gmail address or just the first part before the @ ?
I'm putting both
It's [email protected] and I've tried @yahoo - @gmail [email protected] Etc..
Nothing works.
This really shows why its important to remember what account you put on the phone even if its not the email you use.

Yes.. Yes I know that.
The thing is that I've tried EVERY gmail account I have.. That's only two though. I've read that there's a bug that causes me to not be able to log in or something?
Is there ANY way to set the default to Disk Drive instead of charge only? If I could do that I could use the adb method..
Anyone? =/
Try factory resetting

One possible solution...
Did you have root?
If you hopefully did,
1) install a custom recovery using adb
2) reboot phone into recovery mode
3) create a nandroid backup (not with ext)
4) wipe data, cache, dalvik-cache, rotate settings and battery settings, NOT SD-EXT
5) restore nandroid backup and phone will be restored.
6) reboot

Fix from the Android issue tracker
It seems during an incoming call, you can back out to Home & access settings to disable the pattern lock or reset your phone's designated email account. There are a bunch of workarounds posted in the Android issue tracker, bug 4784 - try to see if any suggestions help you:
h ttp ://code. google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=4784
The workaround in comment #35 worked for me, I disabled the pattern lock altogether.

Hello! I have problem with market...On the market is not showing all my applications installed I tried to delete the cache and reinstall some apps, but nothing has changed????? Please help me!
Clear cache >> clear data >> force stop & if that doesn't work doing the previously mentioned immediately followed by a reboot usually works for me.
Happened to me twice now. Had to ultimately reflash gapps
It's a common problem for many countries recently "added" to the list with paid apps available.
I've tried every solution I can think off and none of them work. Google f*cked up, simple as that.
titanium backup used to have a market fix, dont know if paid still does. it used to fix it for me.
I try all metods...clear all market cache reboot...but nothing...how to make backup???

Backup of what? Rom, apps...rom use rom manager, apps use titanium
I tried everything except the backup ... I even re-installed the Android Market 2.3.4 but it did not help ... on the home page dont show application in the form of images on green background...??????
when it happened to me, i reflashed gapps and it worked for me as well.
Under Settings -> Accounts & Sync -> "account" -> "Sync Internet"
I'm getting "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly."
On my primary Google account and not my secondary accounts.
I've tried just the single account too, and still the same issue. This seems to be happening from the last 2 versions of Clean Rom.
I did wipe data every time.
Are there logs anywhere to give me a clue?
I really don't want to go back to a stock rom to test now and risk loosing root, etc.. but it was working from stock to the first Clean Rom, then upgrading to the second clean rom. The apps I downloaded did install after setup even after the wipe and rom install.
Thanks.
I have the same issue and would like to know as well
I'm also experiencing this issue. Hopefully someone knows how to fix it :/
What specifically in your google account is not syncing contacts?

You might have already done this ... but just to confirm ... what partitions did you wipe before you installed CleanRom ?
From CWM, I used the "Clear Cache" then followed with "Wipe Data/Rest".
I believe I've tried before and after ROM installation, but am not 100% currently. I do not believe that should make difference, since I do not believe Clean Rom writes to the data partition.
Since I don't know where the logs are, I'll try to do USB Tether and run Wireshark on the RDNIS interface later on today to see if I can capture any info. Hopefully it is not encrypted.
Thanks.

Try wiping all the partitions in the "WIPE" section in CWM (including system , except SD-CARD ) and also under advanced " WIPE DAlvik Cache" and then install cleanROm.
I am on v2.3 and I do not have that issue.
it really is a benign error.
I get it on ALL my ICS devices, regardless of rom/config/wipe/etc. its a google issue, not inherent to this device specifically.
Sort of. Unfortunately I did this see work on the earlier Clean ROM upgrades, and I've been spoiled.
When it worked, after I've flashed the new rom, it will automatically reinstall all the Apps I've downloaded from the App store. All my wifi SSIDs will be restored.
Yes it isn't critical, but a nice feature.

In CMW On the First Menu I,
Wiped data/factory reset
Wiped cache partition
Next in Advance
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Didn't see any other wipes.
Installed, and still the same problem.
Since I'm reset right now, is there any safe way to install stock to make sure that internet sync does work with a stock rom?
I image in need to hex edit the current version to a 1.0.0.0 and then install say the 1.7.3 RUU
Root then unlock again.

reinstalling appstore apps and wifi ssids doesnt fall under the internet sync. those are settings elsewhere in your menu. that feature is located under PRIVACY/BACKUP & RESTORE
Internet sync has never worked for me on stock or otherwise
Thanks. I checked there, and all of that is enabled. Must be something else then that is causing everything to be not restored.

Internet sync has never worked for me on my HOX. I also have had the iconia a500 since it came out and internet sync hasn't worked with gingerbread or on the upgraded ICS. I've been using Chrome beta instead but the stock browser should work and it doesn't. Any fix would be great.

sync
I have had the same problem on my sensation with all ics roms i have used. sync internet always has the problem. you can remove the account and start again but I noticed that the sync internet will only work when you first log back into your google account then it will "experience problems" again. What is sync internet? yes done a google search but no clear answer. found something that says it is for bookmarks, but that sounds iffy.

i experience the exact same problem but on stock 1.73. my email does not sync properly and im always faced with the "try again" error.
repaired
On my sensation it seems that "reset Chrome so that it was not "encrypt all data" and instead is now "encrypt password" is what repaired my "internet sync" problem.
Thank you!

For anyone else who stumbles across this thread, what I did was...
In google chrome settings via a computer, There is a hyperlink to google dashboard. Go there and down to Chrome Sync, I reset and deleted chrome data. (Don't worry, it doesn't delete your bookmarks, picasa, or gmail). Then it reset Chrome so that it was not "encrypt all data" and instead is now "encrypt with password", like you said.
Problem fixed.
Thank you so much!

That did not work for me. After I deleted the data from the dashboard, it would sync correctly but after I would readd my account on my laptop's google chrome, it would start to fail again
Yeah, the only way it finally worked was to select chrome settings to select "encrypt Passwords" and not select "encrypt all data"
Isn't trying to find out what is wrong so fun. lol

Tried doing some searching on this and other devices with PA but to no avail. I open up the dialer and a few seconds later get a message "unfortunately, contacts have closed" then fc on me. Yet, I can open up the "People" or contacts app no problem. It won't let me use the dialer which is super annoying.
Wiped, fact reset, clear cache/dalvic. Good DL of the zip(md5), followed directions exact with gapps.
Tried fixing permissions, nothing. Tried reinstalling the PA zip over top in case of corrupted system files, same problem. Tried reinstalling gapps zip over top, same problem.
Do I need to re download wipe and install or am I missing something?

Most of what I read for other devices said to wipe and re-flash. I was unconvinced that this was the only option.
Some articles said it was a problem with Google syncing with contacts. So I...
Disabled Contact sync
Settings>Apps>All...
Contacts>Clear Data
Contacts Storage>Clear Data
Reboot into Recovery
Wipe Cache
Reboot
Enable Contact sync
All is working, just had to update my owner info, but I'm finally issue free.

Thanks so much! you definitely helped me with this problem on my Galaxy S3 I93000 ! :good:
Last night i upgraded from nougat to oreo and applications start to crash.
And in some games i can't even log in with facebook / twitter. Everytime time i hit the login with facebook/twitter button, the game crash.
Torrent application not showing any text / pic.
The battery is not draining fast, but faster than nougat's.
Some application don't make to their page. Some do, but few seconds later *crash*.
Octopus' (keymapping app) service is running but the app always crashes when i try to run it.
SmartThings, sometimes bluetooth keyboard and mouse stop working.
I tried factory reset on setting, clearing cache on recovery mode. Nothing works.
I appreciate any help!
Uninstall and reinstall the apps, or clear data and not just cache in app manager.
Personally I always do a clean wipe on new OS versions partially because of this reason, you bring up old data from the previous version and often causes issues.

I did factory reset through setting menu, should i try hard reset?
Ah I thought you meant you reset the app settings. But yes a factory wipe in recovery is going to be more thorough than one through settings.
Other wise you can do a full flash in Odin using the stock firmware files, that method doesn't trip knox / warranty etc
