Hey guys,
For some reason, using the default Samsung music player, a lot of tracks are out of order, even though they are tagged correctly. It'll only happen to a random few albums, but consistent as I add new music.
Any ideas? I'm on Apex 8.2.
Thanks!

Hey everyone, just wondering... I synced some iTunes playlists through doubletwist with my captivate, but I noticed I can't actually view what's in my playlists with the default music player. Is there any way to do this with the default player? Also has anyone else noticed that the music player feels a bit laggy?
This is kind of a must for me, and I don't really want to blow 250 bucks on a new iPod.
Thanks
edit: other apps that function better than the stock music app would also work for me...

Hey guys,
After updating to gingerbread, lots of my songs wont play. They're mp3's that worked just fine before. I also have my music organized by album and now instead of one album w all of the songs, the albums show up 4 or 5 times with a few songs separated in each folder. Anyone else have this issue or know of a fix?
Thank you guys!

Weird, I had an issue where the id3 tags were showing unknown artist but they could play
Interesting, I don't have that issue, they're all labeled correctly but they're totally rearranged in tons of different folders. It really sucks :'(

maybe you can modify a music player app to work as a home screen
Ye probably could but was looking for something with all phone stuff removed and maybe just have wifi, market and music player.

I had been using an ipod to listen to music prior to getting my charge. When i got the charge i coppied music files(mp3) to the data card. Since then i have never been able to get any music player to identify songs correctly with regards to genre.
I've used programs like itag to modify song properties. Also tried modifying properties via windows mass storage. I even tried clearing data from players.
What else can i do?

have you tried Google Play Music or Winamp?
Yup. I've tried both and given up all hope that it'll ever work.

I think a lot of it depends on the info settings for each song. you'll have to edit each song's info. I have read/heard of websites that will clean all of that up for you, but really did not venture too far into that.

Download DroID3Tagger it's amazing and a god's gift to clean up your music perfectly I haven't found any better app to clean up your music files for real instead of just using a different musicplayer.
Pimp my music for album art and lyrics
