Hey guys,
After updating to gingerbread, lots of my songs wont play. They're mp3's that worked just fine before. I also have my music organized by album and now instead of one album w all of the songs, the albums show up 4 or 5 times with a few songs separated in each folder. Anyone else have this issue or know of a fix?
Thank you guys!

Weird, I had an issue where the id3 tags were showing unknown artist but they could play
Interesting, I don't have that issue, they're all labeled correctly but they're totally rearranged in tons of different folders. It really sucks :'(

My problem is that when I download songs that do not have the right tags I can not correct them because I do not know the album etc of all the songs.
Is there an app, like mixzing, which identifies songs and changes the tags accordingly?
Thanks in advance

Windows media player can do that..
Hey guys,
For some reason, using the default Samsung music player, a lot of tracks are out of order, even though they are tagged correctly. It'll only happen to a random few albums, but consistent as I add new music.
Any ideas? I'm on Apex 8.2.
Thanks!

im trying to find an app that can downliad albun artwork and actually have the artwork show up in MIUI music. i used Cover Art Downloader from the market and it got a vast a of my albums but the cover art doesnt show up in MIUI music. i would use the one built into MIUI music but it hardly ever gets the right artwork

Just take the png/jpeg file you find and place it in the folder of the album. It should show up (well after deleting the respective jpegs in the miui_music folder).

I had been using an ipod to listen to music prior to getting my charge. When i got the charge i coppied music files(mp3) to the data card. Since then i have never been able to get any music player to identify songs correctly with regards to genre.
I've used programs like itag to modify song properties. Also tried modifying properties via windows mass storage. I even tried clearing data from players.
What else can i do?

have you tried Google Play Music or Winamp?
Yup. I've tried both and given up all hope that it'll ever work.

I think a lot of it depends on the info settings for each song. you'll have to edit each song's info. I have read/heard of websites that will clean all of that up for you, but really did not venture too far into that.
